They tell me they've located another motherboard and they just need my OK and they'll get things rolling. 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing from them. I call and now they tell me they cant find a motherboard and then they tell me I shouldnt waste my money on an old laptop like mine and that I should let them build me a new laptop. I was not happy. I went and got my laptop from them. I then get on the internet and search for a motherboard. I found 20 of them on Ebay. Among those 20 was a brand new one. I bought the brand new motherboard, installed it myself and poof, my laptop works again. I dont think they want to do repairs anymore. I think they just want to sell new stuff. Not good.

When I arrived, i was greeted by a woman. She then walked me through how it works, and ran several diagnostics on my phone. I asked what time it would be done, she said it would not take long at all. I mentioned that i needed it by 2PM, she said it would be by noon. It was about 945 when i left them to replace the screen. Day goes on...... Its 205p and I arrive at SuperCru. There is a large gentleman helping another customer. He greeted me and told me he would be right with me. The woman that helped me in the morning was coming from the backroom, saw-me, and immediately walked up to the other employee and whispered to him. Then went right back into an office and closed the door. The male employee then said my phone was not complete, and i needed to wait another 30-45 minutes. At this point i asked why the original quoted time was not met. I was told its because they have other customers. (Understood). I have a schedule to adhere to, so i said it was unacceptable. By this time, im annoyed. He states that they are "Almost" finished with it......... 10 minutes later, still working on it. At this point my schedule is screwed. I then asked for my phone back. He didn't want to give it to me. Then i said again that i wanted my phone back, in any condition and that id go to a real apple store. He went into the back and got my phone. I was trying to find a location to help me recover data off of my Apple airport…read moreTime Capsule after Apple Genius Bar wiped my iMac after promising they had transferred all my data onto a portable hard drive I bought from them. Well they did not & 60% of my data was gone. I was devastated for days until my wife suggested a third party repair shop. I reached out to a couple businesses and after speaking to Eric with iFixit, I thought it was worth a try. What did I have to lose? I dropped off my time capsule that apple told me I had completely erased due to holding the reset button in for 10 seconds (they also couldn't pull up any info off of it). They said it requires a network to operate and access the data which they could not do. Well Eric opened the hard drive and was able to directly access the files. I was amazed and so happy. Since the files are scattered he suggested I bring in my iMac and attempt to complete a restore of data which would put the files in the correct location. Eric was right and completely saved my digital life! I am forever grateful to them and his hard work. I was surprised at how reasonable the work cost too. Definitely give them a shot for any data recovery issues you may be facing. They know the "ins and outs".
