Please don't EVER hire these people! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! I hired them to move the larger items in my home because I had already moved everything else in boxes. They arrived with a man that looked like he was on drugs and continued to use my restroom for prolonged periods. It took them 7 hours to move a couch, a bedroom set and an office desk! They arrived with NO SUPPLIES! And they charged me $860!!! They damaged my personal property and even took the door off of my new apartment because they said the couch wouldn't fit.... But I had already told them it did and at no point did they ask permission to remove my door. Now my door is broken! Walls scratched! Office desk completely scratched, couch feet broken! Floor scratched! I am adding videos and pictures for everyone to be aware. I will also be taking them to small claims court and reporting them to them to the BBB. read more

The worst experience for my family. Never in my life have I seen so much damage and lack of professionalism in somebody's work. On top of the complete lack of care, they blocked the client so as to not take responsibility for their work. The worst moving experience with this company. Several pieces of furniture were damaged/broken. They left significant scratches on the walls and floors. When these issues were pointed out to them they became extremely bothered, defensive and very intimidating. We attempted to contact the company to file an official complaint, tried calling multiple times, only to have our phone numbers suddenly blocked. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. We would not recommend this moving company to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the damage, and the over pricing. Mark and David were very efficient in helping me with my move which involved the unloading of a 26-foot U-Haul. They took the time to do extra things--like the placement of large, heavy ceramic pots in my garden, repairing a part of my couch that had become loosened, and the assembling of my bed frame. Though I had to have them rearrange several items they had already placed in the house, they did it willingly without hesitation. I am grateful I chose Ironman! read more

I have used Ironman Movers previously and wasn't going to use them this time but the rates were the best that I could find. It's been tough to get this schedule due to my health and their choice to change dates as well. Today we finally, but as before, they did not get all of my stuff moved and I will have go back and finish the job in my own. They were disorganized in packing their van and trailer and had to use my truck for some big items. The helper that came told Mark, the owner, that he had court this afternoon and so they rushed the job after arriving 30 minutes late. The left the legs to my bed at my old apartment so my bed is now sitting on the floor. The crushed totes and boxes and lost my electronic box (bight pink) and now I have no chargers, no cords, and no tablet or dvd player. They left a tie down on the back of my truck without telling me and as a result it tangled up my muffler when I was moving my truck. Now the muffler is rubbing in my tire. When we got to my destination they just shoved stuff in the garage haphazardly and things are crushed and broken. I asked about a reduction in charges since they left me hanging and they said no. I asked if they have insurance for damage (including my muffler) and I never got a reply. They just said the mufflers fine. But now looking at how they stacked everything, I'm sure I will damaged items and also the loss of my electronics. I don't recommend using this company for your move. read more

I paid for 2 movers and a truck for our move last week, on July 18th. Mark was very prompt at responding to my last minute request for 2 movers and a truck, and that part was great, even though he rescheduled and pushed off my original appointment time (10:00 am) twice because they forgot to pencil in another appointment before mine. The movers showed up a little after 1. The night before our move, we moved ALL heavy items into the living room, to make it easier on the men. Unfortunately, one of the men they sent were EXTREMELY lazy. He came to our upstairs apartment once to grab two (2) boxes, and then noticed that my boyfriend started helping with the heavy lifting (and the lazy one never came back upstairs to help his coworker). The competent worker and my boyfriend carried our two couches downstairs, refrigerator, mattress, dresser, table, bookshelf, and several other heavy items. The lazy worker stayed by the truck, and managed to break all of our fragile glasses (which we packed very carefully with several layers of foam and padding) with what he did manage to load. We told him that he didn't need to shrink wrap anything (to move things along), but he just stood by the truck outside and rearranged a box or two. When my boyfriend and worker were done, he had the nerve to ask his coworker and my boyfriend, "so what's left?". I purposely told my boyfriend to lag on arriving to our moving destination, because since I payed for two (2, not 1) movers, I wanted to make sure the other guy did his job he was being payed for. He dragged his feet and made small talk with me (while I'm trying to unload my car) in order to get out of working, while his other coworker was sweating bullets unloading the car. When my boyfriend finally showed up, the lazy worker said to him, "where have you been?", as if he was getting paid with them. I've never been more disappointed and rarely leave poor reviews, but this was an absolute joke. That's what I get for trying to save a buck (69 bucks an hour compared to 75 and up) and waiting till last minute. read more

I am a firm believer in first impressions mattering. I was shopping around for my upcoming move and saw this company had a Groupon deal. There was no information surrounding the cost for drive time, so I decided to call. The line picked up, and I heard, "This is Mike." I let him know I had some questions. He asked where I heard about the company. He explained the basic details of the Groupon to me, which I already understood from having read the Groupon. He did not directly address my question. It was incredibly hard to hear since it sounded like he was driving on the freeway. He said something to the effect that made it seem drive time would get calculated into the number of hours charged. When I tried to confirm, he said he would have to call me back. Did I receive a call back? I certainly did not. I contacted Mark about a month before my intended move date. Mark was professional and knowledgeable, allowing me to ask questions in order to prepare for my move. He followed up with an email of confirmation and was also available via phone if needed. Cyress and Jose showed about 15 minutes late, but I was contacted earlier by Mark to let me know they were running behind (totally ok) and promptly began to move everything onto the truck and trailer. The move took exactly the estimated amount of time discussed with Mark. Cyress and Jose were able to take apart the furniture and reassembled it when we got to the new location. They even removed the refrigerator for me from the old site to junk it. I thought the move experience went well. Cyress and Jose were professional and polite. I felt that the price I was charged was quite fair and will definitely think about Ironman Movers again when I need them! read more

I know all movers milk the clock but yesterday was a flat out insult to my intelligence. For reference, I have added a photo to show the distance from my old apartment complex to the new one across the street. The only reason is took them 5.5 hours to move a 1 BD apartment across the street is because two friends showed up to help them for over an hour. Otherwise it would have easily taken them 7 hours. I didn't pull the plug after 3.5 hours is because my friends talked me out of it. From the beginning I gave them the spare keys to my apartment so I could take stuff down to my car. I caught them 3 times "waiting" for me to come back upstairs because they were pretending to be locked out. Also, it took them 12 minutes to drive from my old apartment to the new one across the street. I guess they didn't realize that I deliberately stood facing the intersection to see how much they would pad transit time. Just go with the more expensive movers. At least they won't bait and switch you with lower rates. read more

This is a second review for Luis and Ironman Movers, and a first time review for Angel. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the guy who helped Luis the first time, but he was awesome as well - shout out to him! We did an office move, which is a different kind of move all together. Luis was awesome! He was professional, patient and a joy to work with. He was constantly moving, as was Angel. Those guys were hustling - no wasted time, no wasted movement. I could report to my Boss that the move went smooth with no hassles and no hiccups, largely in part because of the efforts of Ironman Movers. They really helped keep my schedule on track, and they did it without disrespecting our office stuff. Both times, our stuff was handled carefully. Nothing was broken or bent or damaged. I 100% recommend these guys. Luis triple checked the area with me to make sure everything was packed and ready to go. Who does that these days? My husband and I have used Iron Man Movers twice and both times I have thought about writing this review but haven't until this experience. We used them first in June 2018 and then again in June 2021. I reached out to use them again this month February 2023. Let me just start by saying that both times we used them to move the guys who showed up were on time and got to work. Nothing was ever broken, they were fast, and did not stand around. THAT BEING SAID... every time I have reached out for a quote or to set up moving they have been difficult to work with. At first they are prompt but with specific questions regarding moves I have always been left feeling like I am bothering them??? This particular time (2023) I reached out on semi-short notice (10 days before move). I was flexible with the days but specific with times (as we have a toddler) and they stopped responding promptly or responded things that were unhelpful and didn't move the process forward. I was left felt like I was begging them to come rather than a paying customer. For example Feb 22nd Me: Hi Mark, I'm looking at the weather and it's showing rain on Monday the 27. I'm opening to seeing if it changes but you would be available Sunday if not? After calling and text them to check in Feb 24th Them: We are not available on Sunday. Me: Ok I understand that. Are you still available on Monday?  It says 50% chance of rain obviously I don't know when it's anticipated to rain yet would you be able to play it by ear when you would come that day depending on the weather? Thank you. Followed by no response. Ultimately we decided to go a different direction. Maybe just be prepared for this when in communication with them. read more

My appointment was scheduled for 9:30am. They didn't show up till after 10am and didn't get into our apartment until about 10:15am, but charged us starting at 10am. The workers were moving pretty slow, which resulted in having to add on more moving time, and they moved so slowly that we ended up having to make several trips ourselves to get what they left behind. With that said, they were kind, and careful with our items. They wrapped a glass lamp to make sure it wasn't broken and got everything without denying the walls. I would recommend if you don't mind they moving slowly, but they get the job done. read more

So disappointing. We asked for a 3 man crew and 2 men and a high school freshman showed up. Turns out the crew was subcontracted and they still charged us for 3 men. The crew said well we worked harder to make up for him. While the "two" men did a great job, we should have paid for 2! The truck was half of the size we asked for and the owner said he would credit us 1-2 hours for inconvenience. Oh no - we were credited 30 min and the crew argued with us and the owner and no one owned what we were promised. We absolutely overpaid and I hoped the owner would make it right. These guys were terrific. Friendly, strong and efficient. We could not have asked for a better combination. Three of them, with a truck ad trailer emptied two storage units for us in about an hour. They were very careful with our belongings and placed and/or installed everything as requested. These movers were not just dumping boxes here and there. They worked quickly yet took the necessary nanosecond to ask and make sure your box of clothes didn't end up in the kitchen. FINALLY, some movers who actually read the labels! We are moving our nutrition shop 2 blocks. It's tiring enough moving fixtures to hundreds of bottles of supplements. We have a pretty heavy drink cooler and I don't want to deal with and just pay someone to move it two blocks. The two gentlemen that arrived earlier today have no idea what they're doing my six-year-old father had to tell them to wrap it neither one of them. We had a two-bedroom apartment move and this company was well-suited for the job. I arranged the move date a couple days ahead of time for a Sunday. They showed up with a big trailer and pick-up truck, which both looked practically new. They wrapped furniture with moving blankets to protect everything. 10 stars for Orange County Movers and Haulers!!! Mark and his team are the BEST movers that I have ever encountered in my many years of moving all across Los Angeles and Orange County. These guys are very professional, super friendly, quick and efficient. My sister-in-law had used them to move from a 3-story apartment to a house and she said that they had the best prices with the best service. My sister-in-law is a tough cookie; so, when she said that they were the best, I gave them a try. WOW, they were so great that I did NOT have to stress at all. They knew exactly how to move all of my furniture without a nick or scratch. It was the first time that I did NOT have to supervise a mover and tell them what to do. These guys were on top of everything and they had common sense. It made it so much easier. They are worth every penny. They quickly packed up everything and dis-assembled items (like my bed, tables, stereo, etc.) at my old place...and then they seamlessly unpacked everything and re-assembled everything for me at my new place.
