I haven't been to Stoneridge in forever so was excited to try this new shop. The strawberry Matcha drink was really good. I got 50% sweet, with oat milk and less ice. You can really taste the matcha and it's not overly sugary like 100% sweet. They seem to more well known for their soft serve and Taiyaki. They have the Hokkaido milk which you don't see often. Service was very polite and efficient.
iSee Cream is a hidden gem inside Stoneridge Mall for matcha drinks, ice creams, and more. I got the Banana Cream Matcha and I was surprised how fresh and natural the banana cream tasted. It definitely didn't taste artificial and the matcha is strong to my liking. My friend got the Strawberry Cream Matcha and it was good too. It's small inside for grab-and-go and service was efficient
Really good ice cream and taiyaki. I actually came here during an East Bay Yelp Elite experience, so I'm curious what my fellow East Bay elites got. For me, I ordered an ube soft serve taiyaki with fruity pebbles. It was really good and not too sweet. The taiyaki had all the wonderful textures of a waffle, crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The fruity pebbles also added a nice textural contrast to the soft serve. I've also tried the sweet corn taiyaki and that was good too. It's savory and sweet, so something worth trying if you're not feeling ice cream that day. There's a place to make your experience Insta worthy, and a few tables to eat. And it was pretty clean when I was there. I used a kiosk to order, but otherwise service was pretty quick.
Freshly made taiyaki, got the box of 5 and were able to pick my own flavors. Loved the savory ones over the sweet ones. I like the corn cheese fillings but not crazy about the mayo. The shredded pork floss not my favorite but my daughter likes it as I'm not a huge fan of shredded pork. I like the cheddar cheese but I think it would taste better if a jalapeño cheese were used. The brown sugar boba filling wasn't too bad. It was filled with a lot of boba and super chewy. Nutella is Nutella, I don't have anything to say about that. Will need to come back and try the ice cream.
needed some ice cream to help cool down during the summer and stopped by my favorite sweet treat spot in stoneridge mall! ordered a soft serve cup with ube and strawberry swirled soft served topped with fruity pebbles and a fresh nutella-filled taiyaki on top! service was fast as always and i was able to to get my soft serve cup in a timely manner. i will say it can get a little hot inside the storefront since the taiyaki are made to order but i don't mind it since i know the taiyaki are going to be cooked perfectly
Tried another item on the list! Iced strawberry matcha latte 50% sugar With Matcha foam It was almost perfect. I would say it's a solid 4.5*. The sweetness level at 50% was perfect. There is an option to swap the matcha portion from foam to a non foam version. I chose the foam version because it's the original. I would try to other version next time. Also had the vanilla ice cream with lychee jelly and extra mochi pieces. The ice cream and jelly are great. The mochi pieces were not as soft as I expected. So I would give it a 4* for the ice cream lychee jelly combo. The strawberry fruit tea with strawberry popping boba and 50% sweetness were also good. Everything here is pretty much amazing.
Strawberry matcha with oat milk! Wish they had boba and wish they weren't inside the mall! Self service kiosk. Love the options! It's one of the best matcha drinks I've had! Reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back and try other items. You don't interact with anyone. Someone just puts your order at the table when it's ready.
*2.5 stars if I could. Went with a couple of friends while visiting Stoneridge and wanted to get some matcha. The shop is small as any mall store is but it's cutely decorated! Veryyy limited seating since it is small. They use self-service ordering kiosks, so you don't really see the workers in the front unless they're dropping off drinks at the counter from the back. Service could have been better as they weren't really calling out the names loudly even though we were in a mall. My friends' drinks were sitting on the counter for quite a while and we were sitting right next to the pick-up counter. *Original Matcha Latte w/ Extra shot of matcha and matcha foam (2/5): I'm assuming they use pre-sweetened matcha powder because it was sooooo sweet even at 25%. My friends ordered the mango matcha latte and the brown sugar latte and they were both incredibly sweet. You can still taste the matcha since thankfully it doesn't taste watered down or too much milk, but I'm worried it was only that way because of the extra matcha shot. There are so many better matcha stores to go to but if you have no other choice, try to get 0% sugar if you can.
This shop is located in the stoneridge mall. We tried their Dubai chocolate strawberry $18. This is seasonal item so only available during strawberry season. The cup comes with many strawberries and soft serve ice cream. It's very good. However, I think the chocolate sauce is a bit over. So it's ever sweet towards the end. I also think this cup can fill up your stomach. It can definitely share with 2 people. Also tried the matcha drink, the matcha amount is perfect! Love it! In case you are looking for place to hangout, there are only a few seatings with no table. They have great items on their menu including macarons!
Cute dessert spot in Stoneridge mall near JCPenney! My sister and I have been wanting to try this place ever since we did a sweet treat dessert hunt in the Dublin / Pleasanton area. We were pleasantly surprised with their prices, aesthetic interior, and menu options! Very clean and open. All of their swirl options that come with premade toppings (that you can adjust) were only $8.50, which is almost the amount of most boba drinks nowadays so I'd opt for their desserts rather than their drinks at this price point...Although there wasn't really any seating inside, there were several tiny chairs for photos or to wait for your order. You can order via kiosk or cashier. We got the Sakura Matcha Swirl that came with agar boba, cornmeal flakes, and matcha pudding. There was also a strawberry pocky and Sakura flavored flowers. The amount of toppings and soft serve ratio was perfect. Flavor of the matcha was strong, yet creamy. Wasn't too overwhelming and the consistency was just right (a bit thick and soft). We do wish they had fresh strawberries or more strawberry flavored items because the pocky combined with the swirl was yummy! They do put all their toppings on the bottom though, but we love to dig here. Would love to come here again and try more of their other swirls and give their drinks a shot!
First time here! I got the crème brûlée matcha latte with 100% sweetness, oat milk, and regular ice. I read some other yelp reviews that said their drinks run sweet but I have a big sweet tooth so I didn't think it would be a problem, but they were right, these drinks really are sweet lol. I would get 75% sweetness if I come again. I didn't really taste crème brûlée flavor from the cold foam; it just has a subtle sweetness to it but no specific flavor. This drink actually tasted like a pistachio matcha latte but maybe that's due to the earthiness of the oat milk. I like how you can add extra matcha powder yourself... I definitely felt the caffeine while drinking it haha. Overall, the drink didn't really taste as advertised, but it was still pretty good!

The matcha soft serve here is exceptional - you can really taste the quality and authenticity of the flavor. What sets iSee Cream apart is that they make all their soft serve in-house, which really shows in the taste. I particularly enjoyed their milk tea flavor as well. The taiyaki is a delicious complement to their ice cream offerings. The aesthetic of the space is very well thought out, creating an inviting atmosphere for enjoying their treats. The owner Chalina is so friendly, and they offer samples as well! I always entered the mall through this entrance and was excited to try this. I went on Friday evening and there was no one. We have to order through the kiosk on the right side after entering the store. It was pretty easy. I ordered strawberry in a cup and the fish waffle (sorry for the basic words) with Nutella filling. The ice cream was very light and pretty much like a plain one as I didn't taste any strawberries and the size was minimal. The waffle was thin and they just very lightly brushed the Nutella spread inside. It is not a filled one. Overall, I felt it was pricey for the quality and quantity. I don't think I will buy anything again. read more

Good soft serve and even better customer service. I missed the Yelp Elite event at iSee, was on the list but missed the last day. I was looking forward to trying the ice cream and came on a weekend and got a premium cup - the Choco Love. Visually it looked amazing and the taste was good - the pocky stick and mini Oreo was cute. I love a sweet/salty combo and the contrast of the chocolate and the saltiness of the pretzel was tasty. I had told the person working there that I had missed the yelp event they were so nice to give me one of the swag items given out during the event and they also gave me a complementary mochi donut as well a sample of the Ube soft serve which was delicious. Looking forward to going back to try more items. read more
Happy to see a small business owner ice cream shop in Stoneridge mall. We tried the milk, milk tea, ube and matcha ice cream. My favorite is the milk and matcha one. The milk tea and ube is a bit sweet so suitable for someone who likes really sweet flavor ice cream. I am hoping that they would introduce sesame or other unique flavors. The cup size is pretty big so it's a bit hard to eat it all by yourself. I would recommend them to introduce smaller sizes so it less of a mess than sharing a cup. Super friendly staff. ***3.5*** ***Next to Men's Warehouse*** ***Across from Quickly *** Came here after lunch. DD was craving ice cream and remembered seeing a reel of a food vlogger I follow. After quickly scanning the menu, I knew I wanted to try the ube matcha soft serve in a cup with a few taiyaki on the side. Red bean (my go to) and shredded pork, a unique flavor caught my eye as I've never seen other places with it. DD got the strawberry and milk tea soft serve in a cup with the taiyaki ON TOP filled with Nutella. Both soft serves were delicious with their respective flavors distinct. As much as I love ube, personally I preferred the strawberry milk tea combo. It had a bit more umph. I am glad I ordered my taiyaki separately as I like them alone and not wet/ mushy from the ice cream. The (dried) shredded pork one was surprisingly good. Nice crispy mochi texture with dried pork inside. It tasted like dim sum. The red bean filling was a bit too mushy. It could have used a bit more time as the filling was more dense than the pork. My DD's taiyaki didn't have much mochi texture. It almost tasted like a waffle cone and not "chew" to the traditional texture. Overall, a nice dessert that was too heavy. I just wish they had more seating area near the shop or near the mall. I ended up having to go back to my car to enjoy our dessert with the ice cream fastly melting. read more

New soft serve place in Stoneridge Mall...and being an ice cream fan, of course I need to try it. After having lunch at the Nextdoor Poké place, I came over and ordered the matcha and ube swirl on a waffle cone. Forgot to take a picture but the portion size is good and the flavors are nice and creamy. Personally I would prefer the matcha flavor even stronger but good enough for the average folks. They also serve them in Taiyaki like Uji Time and Somi Somi. The place is pretty small but elegantly decorated. The service staff is also friendly. Will go back and try other flavors soon! read more

Cute little spot in the mall that I almost missed it. I tried the choco love. The cornflakes cereal adds an extra crunch with the pudding and Boboa, the only complaint is I wish the bottom had some ice cream as it is dry eating the rest as the ice cream is all on top. read more
We were shopping at Stoneridge mall when we saw that this place was having a BOGO sale for its opening weekend. The place looked pretty cute and aesthetic, and the prices looked pretty reasonable for Asian ice cream. There was a short line of people waiting to order on the 2 self-checkout machines, but we didn't wait long before placing our orders. We got the sakura bloom for $8.5, and the ube/milk tea swirl soft serve as the get-one-free. They were both super creamy and flavorful. The milk tea had a strong black tea taste to it, while the ube was more subtle. The matcha soft serve had corn flake, jelly, and pudding underneath for different texture. They even had complementary matcha powder if you wanted more on top of your soft serve. All in all this place was pretty good, and I look forward to coming back and trying its taiyaki. read more
I'm always down for some ice cream (and so is my kid) so when we had time on Saturday we made our way over to iSee Cream. It's in Stoneridge on the 2nd floor by the Men's Wearhouse. It's a similar set up to Somi Somi- you choose your soft serve and you choose your taiyaki filling. Very no frills here, I was bummed there was no real place to sit so we ended up having to take our ice cream down to the first floor where we were able to find a spot to eat with a table. Overall it was good- the soft serve was tasty and creamy, the taiyaki was good. One weird thing was that my daughter and I both ordered the same size but for some reason they served us in different cup sizes... not sure what was going on there, if one of us got a bonus or if one of us was shorted. read more

My friend recommended the strawberry matcha latte here. And wow, it did not disappoint! Probably the best one I've ever had. The flavor was perfectly balanced, and the matcha tasted authentic. Best Matcha ice cream & Drink! I stumble upon this place by mistake. However, when I saw the picture of their Sakura Bloom( soft serve Matcha ice cream), I had to try. To my surprise, the Sakura Bloom was so beautiful and tasty. When I came back the second time, I tried their Peach Matcha latte & their taiyaki, these are also delicious! I become addicted to their drinks and have to frequent here every week. The matcha they use is ceremonial grade matcha which is the premium grade and most expensive. This type of matcha is healthier, less bitter and more flavorful. Their matcha drink and ice cream are comparable with the ones I had in Japan. The price is cheap for the premium quality. The owner and the decor are nice! You must try the drinks, taiyaki, and ice cream here! read more

Came here with my sister and bf, and we got the fruit tea with 25% sugar, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness, so I'm glad we only got 25% since it was still sweet to me, but pretty good fruit tea with real fruits mixed in. We also got the sakura dream, which could be misleading if you don't read since it's just matcha soft serve and the only sakura part is the sakura cookie decorations, but we wanted matcha so we got it and surprisingly it was really good! We liked the boba, which added a chewy texture. read more

Really good ice cream in a fresh taiyaki fish. We got vanilla and chocolate with Nutella filling taiyaki. You also get a free topping choice of fruity pebbles, flakes, or chocolate pebbles. We opt for chocolate pebbles topping. Chocolate Pocky stick for garnishment also. Taiyaki was fresh and crispy. Nutella could have been a bit more filled inside. Cute little store front with a cute little seating area for photos. Overall service was fast but could have been a bit more friendly and greeted. read more

I stopped by the mall and saw this cute little shop. It's well decorated and clean. I got the Taiyaki waffles with cheddar cheese and strawberry matcha latte. The Taiyaki was crispy outside and chewy inside with pulling cheese. It was so tasty! The matcha in the drink was strong but well balanced with strawberry puree and milk. Was in the area so decided to give another try. Saw they added Matcha latte option. Never tried Peach Matcha anywhere else before so decided to give it a try. The peach is this artificial type of peach jam. With 25% sugar it is still kind of sweet. It's a matcha cold foam so the matcha would be lighter. Drinks are on the pricey side as nowadays with that price, you actually get actual fruits in the drinks. This time there was more filling in the Taiyaki. My friend said the cheese Taiyaki is like having Mac & cheese. As for service, this time I got at least a Hi. read more

Located in Stoneridge Mall, iSee Cream is a cute little spot to fulfill your sweet tooth cravings. They have a super cute photo spot, but besides a few stools, there aren't really any areas to sit down and eat, so be prepared to grab your order and go. There are a couple of self-service kiosks where you can look through the menu and order. They offer a variety of super cute treats including soft serve ice cream, taiyaki waffles, and drinks! I ordered a cup of matcha soft serve with fruity pebbles as a topping and a matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha soft serve is really good! The matcha flavor is strong, but not to the point of being bitter and the ice cream is soft and creamy. Highly recommend if you're a fan of matcha! The matcha latte on the other hand is just okay. The matcha flavor is almost nonexistent, overpowered by the oat milk and sweetener. I'd pass on this one. Overall, if you're looking for some good matcha soft serve or cute desserts in general, this is a great place to try! read more

My friend had already tried this place and recommended it to me and I had to try it. Similar to Somi Somi but the staff do not skimp on the portions. The employee was so friendly and offering samples of any flavor. She said ube is the most popular and as I'm not a huge ube fan, I tried the sample and it was light. I also sampled strawberry, milk and matcha but ultimately opted for milk which was similar to vanilla. I forgot to take a photo of the waffle cone because it was so creamy and refreshing. Love that it's near the mall entrance so if you're craving a snack you don't even have to walk all the way through the mall to get here. The macarons looked good but I didn't get any this time. On our way home, I took my daughter here to get some soft serve. We ordered the chocolate and milk tea soft serve in a cup and added honey boba as a topping. The soft serve was good. You can definitely taste the richness of the chocolate and the tea from the milk tea. Unfortunately, the boba isn't sweet. For them to call it "honey" boba, it's actually false advertisement. The boba was bland. You can't even taste a hint of honey from the boba. As for the ordering process...when we walked in, there were no employee in sight. I placed the order through a tablet that's located on the right side of the store. read more

iSee Cream is inside the mall across from Quickly's. It took a bit of time to get my drink, but there was a lot of people. I usually get a mango matcha, but I decided to get the peach matcha latte. It was pretty good! The peach flavor was there and the matcha was strong! I was a little worried the peach flavor would be too subtle but it was a good mixture! There's also bits of peach in the drink as well! I'd definitely order it again! Only reason I gave it a 3 star was that it took a long time getting my drink and it seemed like everyone there was waiting awhile for their drink too. read more

The store is pretty cutely decorated, the drinks are also very cute, not too expensive. There are self order kiosks and cute limited time drinks sometimes. The wait isn't that long, the taiyaki is always freshly made and if u don't close the box the outside stays slightly crispy/ crunchy and the inside is soft read more
