I haven't been to Stoneridge in forever so was excited to try this new shop. The strawberry Matcha drink was really good. I got 50% sweet, with oat milk and less ice. You can really taste the matcha and it's not overly sugary like 100% sweet. They seem to more well known for their soft serve and Taiyaki. They have the Hokkaido milk which you don't see often. Service was very polite and efficient.

iSee Cream is a hidden gem inside Stoneridge Mall for matcha drinks, ice creams, and more. I got the Banana Cream Matcha and I was surprised how fresh and natural the banana cream tasted. It definitely didn't taste artificial and the matcha is strong to my liking. My friend got the Strawberry Cream Matcha and it was good too. It's small inside for grab-and-go and service was efficient

Really good ice cream and taiyaki. I actually came here during an East Bay Yelp Elite experience, so I'm curious what my fellow East Bay elites got. For me, I ordered an ube soft serve taiyaki with fruity pebbles. It was really good and not too sweet. The taiyaki had all the wonderful textures of a waffle, crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The fruity pebbles also added a nice textural contrast to the soft serve. I've also tried the sweet corn taiyaki and that was good too. It's savory and sweet, so something worth trying if you're not feeling ice cream that day. There's a place to make your experience Insta worthy, and a few tables to eat. And it was pretty clean when I was there. I used a kiosk to order, but otherwise service was pretty quick.

Freshly made taiyaki, got the box of 5 and were able to pick my own flavors. Loved the savory ones over the sweet ones. I like the corn cheese fillings but not crazy about the mayo. The shredded pork floss not my favorite but my daughter likes it as I'm not a huge fan of shredded pork. I like the cheddar cheese but I think it would taste better if a jalapeño cheese were used. The brown sugar boba filling wasn't too bad. It was filled with a lot of boba and super chewy. Nutella is Nutella, I don't have anything to say about that. Will need to come back and try the ice cream.

needed some ice cream to help cool down during the summer and stopped by my favorite sweet treat spot in stoneridge mall! ordered a soft serve cup with ube and strawberry swirled soft served topped with fruity pebbles and a fresh nutella-filled taiyaki on top! service was fast as always and i was able to to get my soft serve cup in a timely manner. i will say it can get a little hot inside the storefront since the taiyaki are made to order but i don't mind it since i know the taiyaki are going to be cooked perfectly

Tried another item on the list! Iced strawberry matcha latte 50% sugar With Matcha foam It was almost perfect. I would say it's a solid 4.5*. The sweetness level at 50% was perfect. There is an option to swap the matcha portion from foam to a non foam version. I chose the foam version because it's the original. I would try to other version next time. Also had the vanilla ice cream with lychee jelly and extra mochi pieces. The ice cream and jelly are great. The mochi pieces were not as soft as I expected. So I would give it a 4* for the ice cream lychee jelly combo. The strawberry fruit tea with strawberry popping boba and 50% sweetness were also good. Everything here is pretty much amazing.

Strawberry matcha with oat milk! Wish they had boba and wish they weren't inside the mall! Self service kiosk. Love the options! It's one of the best matcha drinks I've had! Reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back and try other items. You don't interact with anyone. Someone just puts your order at the table when it's ready.

*2.5 stars if I could. Went with a couple of friends while visiting Stoneridge and wanted to get some matcha. The shop is small as any mall store is but it's cutely decorated! Veryyy limited seating since it is small. They use self-service ordering kiosks, so you don't really see the workers in the front unless they're dropping off drinks at the counter from the back. Service could have been better as they weren't really calling out the names loudly even though we were in a mall. My friends' drinks were sitting on the counter for quite a while and we were sitting right next to the pick-up counter. *Original Matcha Latte w/ Extra shot of matcha and matcha foam (2/5): I'm assuming they use pre-sweetened matcha powder because it was sooooo sweet even at 25%. My friends ordered the mango matcha latte and the brown sugar latte and they were both incredibly sweet. You can still taste the matcha since thankfully it doesn't taste watered down or too much milk, but I'm worried it was only that way because of the extra matcha shot. There are so many better matcha stores to go to but if you have no other choice, try to get 0% sugar if you can.

This shop is located in the stoneridge mall. We tried their Dubai chocolate strawberry $18. This is seasonal item so only available during strawberry season. The cup comes with many strawberries and soft serve ice cream. It's very good. However, I think the chocolate sauce is a bit over. So it's ever sweet towards the end. I also think this cup can fill up your stomach. It can definitely share with 2 people. Also tried the matcha drink, the matcha amount is perfect! Love it! In case you are looking for place to hangout, there are only a few seatings with no table. They have great items on their menu including macarons!

I got a custard tayaki and it was really liquidy and just tasted like vanilla pudding. I got two for 7 which was a good price but it lowkey wasnt worht the money. The place is cute itself and the waiting isnt bad for a wendesday afternoon. The outer layer of the fish was good tho.

Cute dessert spot in Stoneridge mall near JCPenney! My sister and I have been wanting to try this place ever since we did a sweet treat dessert hunt in the Dublin / Pleasanton area. We were pleasantly surprised with their prices, aesthetic interior, and menu options! Very clean and open. All of their swirl options that come with premade toppings (that you can adjust) were only $8.50, which is almost the amount of most boba drinks nowadays so I'd opt for their desserts rather than their drinks at this price point...Although there wasn't really any seating inside, there were several tiny chairs for photos or to wait for your order. You can order via kiosk or cashier. We got the Sakura Matcha Swirl that came with agar boba, cornmeal flakes, and matcha pudding. There was also a strawberry pocky and Sakura flavored flowers. The amount of toppings and soft serve ratio was perfect. Flavor of the matcha was strong, yet creamy. Wasn't too overwhelming and the consistency was just right (a bit thick and soft). We do wish they had fresh strawberries or more strawberry flavored items because the pocky combined with the swirl was yummy! They do put all their toppings on the bottom though, but we love to dig here. Would love to come here again and try more of their other swirls and give their drinks a shot!

First time here! I got the crème brûlée matcha latte with 100% sweetness, oat milk, and regular ice. I read some other yelp reviews that said their drinks run sweet but I have a big sweet tooth so I didn't think it would be a problem, but they were right, these drinks really are sweet lol. I would get 75% sweetness if I come again. I didn't really taste crème brûlée flavor from the cold foam; it just has a subtle sweetness to it but no specific flavor. This drink actually tasted like a pistachio matcha latte but maybe that's due to the earthiness of the oat milk. I like how you can add extra matcha powder yourself... I definitely felt the caffeine while drinking it haha. Overall, the drink didn't really taste as advertised, but it was still pretty good!

the store is in a stoneridge mall. place is not that big. they sell ice cream, taiyaki, and drinks. this time i order taiyaki and premium fruit tea. love the premium fruit tea. they put lots of fruits chunks and drink is so refreshing. i expect having bigger cup though. lol... for the taiyaki is just ok. expect once you finish with it, customer can get it as soon as possible because when i got it, it was cold already while i think taiyaki should be eaten while it is still hot... read more

This INCREDIBLY CUTE MATCHA DESSERT SHOP is located in Stoneridge Mall !!! Their menu includes a variety of sweet options-- ranging from soft serve ice cream in a cup or taiyaki, signature parfaits, taiyaki waffles (both sweet and savory), drinks, mochi donuts, and macarons! They have everything you could ever crave to satisfy your sweet tooth What really impressed me was the presentation of their Matcha Sakura Bloom. Honestly it is one of the cutest parfaits I've ever gotten, and it was loaded with so many yummy goodies too! What I love about their soft serve is that they use premium quality pure milk, which makes their ice cream very creamy and milky. If you prefer milky flavors and less bitter matcha, this spot is definitely for you For drinks we tried the Very Berry and Matcha Latte. I love how you can customize the sweetness level here, anywhere from 25-125%, with non-dairy milk options and ice level adjustments as well I am a huge fan of these cute taiyaki snacks and honestly did not think savory ones could turn out so well. I visited iSee Cream with my daughter when they just grand opening, and it was an absolute delight! The staff were incredibly friendly. This is my first time to try a taiyaki with a chewy texture, it was so tasty and unforgettable. They have so many flavor for the taiyaki, we ordered the mix flavor which is red bean, Ube, Nutella, cheese, shredded pork and the plain one. Honestly, we love all the flavor they have. My daughter love the strawberry cheesecake soft serve ice cream with cup. Every weekend, she is craving for having this soft serve ice cream and the taiyaki. I think it's a good place that anyone looking to enjoy a unique and delicious dessert experience. We are living in S.F., it's kind of far away from this store, but we absolutely will go again to try other flavors and some taiyakis. read more

I don't usually eat ice cream, but because of a fight with my wife I decided to give this new store a try to cool me down. I ordered the matcha ice cream with matcha as pictured. Similar to other fancy premium ice cream, there is a whole lot of ingredients in this one, very eye catching. The ice cream actually tastes very creamy - whether it's the additional cream or some other magic the owner has done to it. This was without a doubt the creamiest, smoothest, and fluffiest ice cream I've tried in past few years. There is nothing a good ice cream can't fix. read more

I was at Stoneridge with my mom and I was craving taiyakis, so I decided to stop by again after my last visit last month to give iSee Cream another shot, since they are a new shop. They are located in the Stoneridge Shopping Center and the best entrance is by Men's Wearhouse. The employees were friendly and welcoming on this visit, which is a good sign and it means the owner took the feedback from the Yelp Reviews seriously. Other than that, everything is self-service - ordering is through the kiosk. A bit more pricier and takes longer than SomiSomi, which is a similar concept. Almost $12 for 5 pieces of taiyakis and you can mix & match flavors, unlike the 2 pieces, which you cannot. I do understand that they are a new & small business and not a big brand / franchise, so pricing may be a bit pricer to stay afloat, especially inside a mall. I ordered the 5 pieces - 1 with no filling, 1 with red bean, 1 with ube taro, and 2 with cheddar cheese. It took about 10ish minutes after ordering to get my taiyakis because they air-cool it after it comes out fresh (the employee says it will is crispier this way) and honestly, I was a bit inpatient because my mom was waiting for me to leave. They offered a small free sample of soft serve for our wait, my mom tried their popular ube and I tried their matcha again. My mom really enjoyed her ube soft serve sample and my matcha soft serve sample was decent, but I enjoy the complimentary matcha powder that they have on the side - I think I liked it last time because of the Corn Flakes, so maybe we would be back to order soft serves next time when we are craving ice cream / soft serve. For the taiyakis - my mom had the red bean one & taro ube ones, while I had the cheddar ones, and we shared the no filling one. My mom enjoyed the red bean one the best because she said the taro ube one was a bit artificial tasting and the no filling one was a bit dry / plain. I enjoyed the cheddar ones way better this time than last time, so air-cooling it did make a difference, but the no filling one was a pass for me - it was indeed dry / plain like my mom said. Overall, I am glad I came back to give them a fair shot because this visit was a lot better than my previous visit. read more

I am absolutely in love with every aspect of this cafe/creamery/heaven on earth!!! I order their Strawberry Matcha Latte religiously and I would say on a weekly basis at this point! I love the owner, I wish I knew her name so I could plug her, but she is an absolute boss and does an amazing job running the place!!! I will be coming here for as long as they are open and also you have to try the soft serve heavenly matcha ice cream!!!!!! Also the vibe and lighting is perfect inside and is such a nice stop in the mall and in general for some amazing drinks, snacks, and amazing sweet treats!!!! read more

They have a lot of flavors for matcha to choose from and I opted for the most popular strawberry one with traditional handcrafted matcha. It was high quality matcha! Service was quick. I saw that today is the soft opening so I decided to drop by before work! It's easy to find just park by men's wearhouse it's next to that inside the mall. They have self ordering kiosks. The 2 people working there were nice and got my order ready very quickly! I ordered the matcha soft serve and the macarons but the macarons weren't ready yet so they let me order 2 taiyaki's instead which was nice! I normally wouldn't go so early but wanted to go in before I started work today lol. It's a very cute shop, instagramable. They have some Easter decor in the store right now too! The matcha soft serve is delicious Id definitely come back. They made the taiyaki fresh for me too which is nice, I'm giving those to my boss so I'll update it with what she thinks of them later! Was craving something sweet and came across this place! It was pretty busy so we used the self order and got the matcha ube swirl with a custard filled taiyaki. The matcha I wasn't that big of a fan but the Ube... it was sooo good! I would definitely come back just for the ube! The taiyaki was really warm and crispy which was really good! Found my fave place located at the Stoneridge mall ! Love their soft served ice cream and variety of drinks. Which I am biggest fan of their Very Berry Latte. My family also loves the taiyaki waffles which have both sweet and savory tastes. The owners are very sweet and nice. I also love the shops interior which brings cuteness and bright vibe design. This place is located in the second floor of Stoneridge mall. I have to say they have the best soft serve I've ever had. I got the matcha and strawberry swirl soft serve with Taiyaki on top and a strawberry matcha iced latte. The soft serve was very creamy and not too sweet. Taiyaki was delicious too. Nutella filling is a plus. For the drink, I chose 50% sweetness and it was perfect. 10/10 recommend! read more

I know it's a small place inside the mall but wish they had a couple tables with seating to enjoy the desserts. Would definitely come back to try other drinks and desserts. I am absolutely in love with every aspect of this cafe/creamery/heaven on earth!!! I order their Strawberry Matcha Latte religiously and I would say on a weekly basis at this point! I love the owner, I wish I knew her name so I could plug her, but she is an absolute boss and does an amazing job running the place!!! I will be coming here for as long as they are open and also you have to try the soft serve heavenly matcha ice cream!!!!!! The ice cream had a creaminess that was comparable to some of the ice creams I had in Japan. I especially like the vanilla milk flavor because the vanilla did not overpower the nice rich milk flavor. The taiyaki was pretty good, too because I like that it's crispy on the outside and a little chewy texture on the inside. I would go back again or even make it my go to ice cream place. read more

A friend recommended I try this next time I was in the mall and I was not disappointed! I stopped by this past weekend and got the premium fresh fruit tea and it was delicious! I'm very picky about my tea and theirs was excellent! Everything in the store and the store itself is decorated so cutely! Was shopping at Stoneridge Mall today and decided to try this new ice cream shop that I saw on instagram recently. The shop is tucked away in the mall's 2nd level food alley next to the Japanese Tapa and Poke bar. They offer variations of soft-serve ice cream and matcha drinks, which is perfect for the hot Tri-Valley Summer and a great option if you do not want to explore outdoor mall / plaza when it's over 85 degrees here. I ordered the Ube & Matcha swirl waffle cone and both the flavor & sweetness came out perfectly for me. Strong flavors and not overly sweet. Was shopping at the mall today and saw this new ice cream shop soft opening so decided to give it a try. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a lady with a big smile. She offered me samples of their ice cream. They have some cute decorations definitely instagrammable. She was fast with the order and the wait wasn't long. I got a matcha soft serve, the presentation was beautiful, the flavor was creamy and rich. I love sweets and desserts so I also got the matcha & strawberry macarons, they were surprisingly good. Definitely want to try the other flavors next time. She warned me that the taiyaki's were hot as she handed them to me because it was freshly made. The taiyaki was crispy on the outside and soft like mochi in the inside, loved the texture. Being a sweet & dessert lover, this is probably one of my top places I've tried in the Bay Area. Optimistically, I'd like to think it was more due to the latter, but regardless of the reason, we knew immediately we needed a cold sweet treat to cool ourselves off. Or, more specifically, a short walk across the parking lot to get some Somisomi! Much like all of their other locations that I've been to, this Somisomi is pretty minimal in nearly every way - from their design and decor to their menu. However, the latter, in particular, works for them, keeping things simple and helping them get orders out quickly. Plus, it's not like their menu is short on options - from their ahboong and upside ahboong, to their soft serve and taiyaki, to their milk drinks, cold brew, and cold brew float, they have a great selection to choose from. Not to mention how their variety of flavors of soft serve, taiyaki, and toppings allows for a dozens of ways for you to customize your order! While I already had an idea of what I wanted to get before we stepped inside, it didn't take me long to decide on their flavor once I saw their featured flavor. For my UPSIDE DOWN AHBOONG ($7.95), I opted to get their Cookies 'n Cream & Milk Tea Swirl with a Red Bean Taiyaki and Crushed Biscoff Crumbles. Sadly, this wasn't quite as awesome as I had hoped for, but this was still pretty good. Mostly, the taste of the milk tea in the swirl was hard to notice, but I did think the cookies 'n cream side of it was great. As before, though, the highlight of me was the taiyaki (with the swirl in it), as the red bean filling was delicious and I loved the batter - slightly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Despite how there was a small crowd ahead of when we got in line, it seemed like it only took a few minutes before all of our orders were ready. What's more, the workers here were all super friendly, which is impressive given how they're just constantly churning out orders one after another for hours on end. Considering how I'm so late to the Somisomi party, I'm sure there may still be some novelty to coming here for me, but it doesn't change the fact that I still thoroughly enjoyed my order. What's more, I don't know what the other dessert options are around Pleasanton, but I imagine there aren't many others that are also open so relatively late (open until 10:30pm on Fridays and weekends). I noticed this cute little spot while shopping at the mall, right by the entrance near California Pizza Kitchen. The menu had some unique and intriguing options, definitely more than your typical dessert stop. I went with the mango milk, and it was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The shop is small, with limited seating, so it's more of a grab and go type of place. That said, it's definitely worth a quick stop if you're nearby. I've tried both the Dubai Strawberry Soft Serve and the Dubai Matcha Latte here. Both were amazing! I've also had pistachio drinks from other places, but none taste as natural and rich as the ones at iSee Cream. I prefer ordering from the kiosk since it's easier to see all the options. The staff is friendly, and I got my order in just 5 minutes. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu! read more

I have to stop by this store for their matcha every time I'm at Stoneridge Mall. It's pure, flavorful, and never bitter--unlike what I've had at other places. I went there on a Saturday. There were so many people. The wait time was kinda long. It took almost 20 minutes to get my taiyakis. I ordered red bean, Nutella, and corn cheese taiyakis. The corn cheese was extremely delicious! I will come back on weekdays and avoid weekends. read more
