Since you told me that I didn't give you enough information. Well here is information for you. My family and I got sat in a dirty table, I had asked for them to clean it. They just wipped it who would want to sit and it when the table is gross. Then on top of that my wife asked for French toast without that powder sugar and it came with it. I told them to take it back and you really need to get people who speak English and not act like they are dumb. Then my burger wasn't what I wanted it was raw in the middle. I asked for well done. Not rare. Like come on. Then my kids cheese burger I said no tomato and onion because my kid is allergic and I told you server that! And then brought my daughter a cheese burger with onion and tomato and smiled.i was so pisser So got up and left. Never again. My wife had to tell me to calm down and leave and she paid the bill. So I hope you honestly get your shit taken care of. And maybe when a customer comes in and tells you that their kid is allergic to something maybe you will listen and not try to kill them. read more

I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and a breakfast plate during my visit. The service was genuinely great--friendly staff and prompt attention. The location itself is cozy and inviting, a comfortable spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the ambiance. The hashbrowns were overcooked, tasting more like burnt oil than crispy potatoes. The sausage had an artificial, rubbery texture that didn't resemble real meat. The Philly cheesesteak was underwhelming--barely any cheese and bone-dry, lacking the savory, melty punch you expect from a good one. As for the sides, the garlic fries had no actual hint of garlic, and the chili fries were bland and forgettable. All in all, great place to hang out and excellent service, but the food lands solidly in "mid" territory. Wouldn't rush back unless the kitchen tightens things up. read more

We have enjoyed many great meals at the Island Cafe in the 3 years we have lived in Oak Harbor. The food is very good and we enjoy talking with the friendly staff. We have never been disappointed. What is disappointing is overhearing patrons complain about the time it takes to get their food. We are in a pandemic people! Some area restaurants have had to close because they don't have the staff and/or food to stay open. We enjoyed our breakfast there on 8/8 and as always it came to us in promptly and piping hot. I have been coming to island cafe with my husband since they opened up downtown years ago and I can't say I have ever had a bad meal here. The place is always so clean and the food is fresh and delicious and the service is always top notch. It is such a well ran business which is why it's the busiest place in town. My family and I have visited this place around 3 times, and every time we're in town we return! They serve nothing but the best quality of food at reasonable prices, also with the friendliest and fast service. Overpriced for what you get. Horrible service, and staff that don't know how to take care of people. The food was not special in any way, and could be could easily be matched by anyone with a kitchen and the ability to pick up a fork. This place is so good! They seem to be most known for their breakfast (which is amazing) but I feel like their dinner gets overlooked!
