We had some time to kill before we could check into rental so, stopped here on our visit to the keys for a late lunch. Seated right away by the water, it is kind of off season. Ordered a margarita with tequila. Was very strong...loved it great start to our stay. Ordered blackened Mahi Mahi tacos that came with rice and beans. My wife had Tuna nachos. Both dishes were excellent. We gobbled it up. Fish was fresh and tasted great. For dessert we ordered key lime pie. It had a good tart flavor and wasn't super sweet. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Food was very good as was the service. Clean bathrooms. A chicken quesadilla and snapper sandwich and 2 drinks came to $80 A bit excessive.

Sat in the indoor space as it was a bit windy and don't like sharing my meal with the flys. I ordered the fillet mingon (med rare) with seared vegetables and a house salad. The fillet was a little under but melted in my mouth. The veggies were mushy but tasty and the salad was a salad. All in all a really good meal. Finished it off with their key lime pie which was delicious. I'd go back.

The vibes were immaculate, beautiful outdoor seating next to the river and it did not feel too hot. The noise level was great and the waitstaff were very attentive and all around friendly and willing to do anything to make the experience better. The food was out of this world and fairly priced. Highly recommend for a casual night out or a special event.

Nice open air restaurant on the channel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the normal breakfast that was good. Only slightly negative thing I could say is when we first arrive everyone seemed like they were not in a good mood. No one smiled at all, maybe it was too early and they are not morning people, lol! Had we been greeted with a welcoming smile I would have given them 5 stars.

I don't know what anybody's talking about but this place deserves a five! The ambience is amazing. You literally have the ocean right next to here was boats tied up to the dock at the restaurant. Emily was our server. She was great! Helped me with my picking mess. We ordered the purple bowl, chicken, Cobb salad, island tacos, and crunchy grouper sandwich. Amazing! You will not go wrong being here it is outside, but it's cool enough that it won't make a difference. Come in whatever you're wearing they don't care. See you guys again soon thanks so much for a great hospitality.

Island Grill is a great spot in Islamorada if you're looking for seafood. It's waterfront too and shaded! The service was a bit slow and forgetful towards the end of the night, it was a weekday when my family went so that might have a part in it. Hopefully it's better during the weekends!

    Fun times

Poke Bowls are excellent, conch fritters are great, fish sandwiches are good enough. Staff is attentive and fast, drinks are good. Recommend .

The view from the outdoor seating at Island Grill is beautiful & breezy. We enjoyed watching the marina traffic pass by and park. We ordered two items: the tuna nachos and the coconut encrusted snapper. We would suggest the tuna nachos which were flavorful & fresh. Unfortunately, the snapper dish is not recommended. The fish and no flavor & the beurre blanc was also flavorless and unappealing. The broccoli was decent, but the French fries were old and tasted like the heat lamp that kept them warm.

Lobster Mac n cheese. Thats it. Soo creamy, beautifully cooked lobster. Star of the night. The live music entertainment was great, average service. But their lobster Mac n cheese can't be ignored. We also had some stone crab chowder which was good as well. I would return to try some of their other dishes

My aunt and uncle live nearby and are frequent customers. Today's visit this afternoon was my second time and just as enjoyable. The Islamorada Roll was delicious, and our server, I think it was Shane, was excellent! Despite being very busy he was attentive, kind, and a great ambassador for this restaurant. Highly recommend!

I ordered The Turtle Breakfast with eggs over easy, added an extra egg, sausage, and bacon, and swapped the toast for a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick-cut, salty goodness, the sausage was packed with flavor, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The sausage gravy was some of the best I've had, rich, hearty, and loaded with flavorful sausage. Whether you're staying in Islamorada or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Green Turtle Inn for breakfast. It's a great way to start the day in the Keys.

To eat we ordered the sautéed mussels and then I ordered the traditional Greek salad for my dinner and he ordered the farmhouse pasta. Overall the food was good. The potato salad in the Greek salad was random but good I enjoyed it. It also had a good portion of chicken on it. My bf liked the pasta but not the sauce (aka broth) he said it tasted like ramen with the broth and I couldn't agree more. Not the best pasta dish we've had. I will say our service was awkward. Although our bartender was friendly she seemed very drunk. She was dropping glasses, slurring and just seemed out of it -- but not THAT out of it because our ordered came out correct so there's that!

We then moved upstairs and grabbed seats at the bar. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp, calamari, and conch fritters. Everything was perfect and came out quickly despite the whole place buzzing. After two more mojitos, we moved to our table upstairs on the balcony. The views were amazing, and the live music on the beach made the whole experience even better. My wife ordered her go-to yellowtail "Lazy Way," which is a must. I had the stuffed whole yellowtail. Everything was excellent, and the portions were abundant. Everything had either too much mayonnaise or too much sauce or was overcooked. It was like they're too worried about the quality of the ingredients or the food to let it stand on its own. This could also be as a result of the cooking of the region. It would've been great to have something light and fresh. I did order a Caesar salad salad, and the dressing tasted like somebody edited ranch dressing. There was no anchovy flavor. The servers are nice, the prices aren't bad, and there is plenty of parking if you don't go on the weekend. The view is nice as well. Other than that, I really don't know if I would eat here again.

A special thank you to our concierge, Anne, who was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to recommend family-friendly activities both at the lodge and around Islamorada, and her recommendations made our trip even more memorable. One of the best things about Cheeca Lodge is that there's truly something for everyone. We loved that we could paddleboard, kayak, ride bikes, fish off the iconic pier, relax by one of the three beautiful oceanfront pools, or simply enjoy the incredible views. There's even complimentary golf, which we didn't have time to take advantage of this trip. Our lagoon-view room was beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The entire property is stunning, secure with gated entry, and offers complimentary parking throughout your stay. We also had an amazing experience at Mia Cucina, the Italian restaurant on site. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the staff. The chefs were so kind and welcoming to our kids, making dinner feel extra special. The complimentary 24-hour shuttle was another huge plus, making it easy to explore the area without worrying about driving. There's also a 24-hour convenience store right across the street, which came in handy more than once. Islamorada ended up being the perfect destination for our family. It has such a relaxed, laid-back feel while still offering plenty to do. If you're looking for a luxury resort where you can truly unwind, spend quality time with family, and enjoy exceptional hospitality, Cheeca Lodge is it. Thank you to Anne and the entire Cheeca Lodge team for an unforgettable stay. We can't wait to return!
