Basically zero seasoning, the mushrooms were practically raw OH and i got a giant chunk of lettuce that my patty was thrown onto, giving me a deconstructed burger i got to assemble myself. The service was very quick, friendly and efficient and better than what I would have expected. I got a carnitas bowl (which is definitely under represented on the menu). Surfs up! Hawaiian vacation vibes, tropical decor and a very comforting ambiance. My friend and I arrived after attending the Anime LA convention across the street, we were seated almost imminently despite the restaurant being very busy and full. Our hostess was very cheerful and attentive, she got us our hot tea and a frozen Frose drink. We shared some cheesy nachos as well as some tasty Sliders. The Nachos were crunchy, and came with a generous portion of creamy guacamole and sour cream. The Sliders came with tons of crispy onions and had the softest buns. Came on New Year's Eve which was super busy. The wait was said to be 5-10 min, and took closer to 15 (which honestly is pretty good). Took a minute for our waiter to get to us, but it's because they are swamped. Once he did tho, we immediately placed our order, and the food came out in about 10 min. Alex was super kind to us the entire evening, and treated us really well even tho he was running around. My new favorite server here :) when we requested anything additional, it was promptly brought to us. This island's used to have pretty long wait times, so I'm glad they seemed to have improved! read more

Dining out is a rare treat for my family, and when we do, we hope to make it a special occasion. Unfortunately, our visit to your Long Beach location last night was anything but that. I'm honestly at a loss for words over how poorly we were treated. Although we were seated fairly quickly on the patio with our party of seven, things quickly took a turn. We sat unattended for nearly 30 minutes until I finally had to flag down another server just to ask if we could place our order. When our waitress eventually approached us, she seemed clearly overwhelmed and, frankly, made us feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. After placing our food and drink order, another 20 minutes passed without any drinks arriving. I had to go back inside to ask again, at which point a manager -- who mentioned he had only been there a week -- came to apologize. I told him how frustrated we were and that I didn't want to pay for a meal after such poor service. He said he would check on our order, brought our drinks, and vaguely stated that we would be "comped," but then mentioned he had to leave and that another manager would follow up with us. That never happened. Oddly, one plate was brought out well before the others, so one person had to eat alone while the rest of us waited another 10 minutes for the rest of our meals. The waitress reappeared briefly later, but provided no explanation or meaningful service -- just a full-priced check for nearly $140, with no comps applied and no manager follow-up. We once again went inside to ask why nothing had been adjusted. Only a small discount was applied, despite everything we had experienced. This entire ordeal left us stressed, anxious, and deeply disappointed. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience -- especially for families like mine, who don't do it often due to financial constraints. This was the opposite. The team at this location should be truly ashamed of how this was handled. No guest should ever be made to feel this way. read more

12/19/24 Dined here for lunch and I ordered the nachos with chicken ($17.00) for the table. I had a BLT (14.00) that's not on the menu. It's served on a soft hamburger bun and was served with way too much mayonnaise for my taste. The nachos were pretty good but I would not order the BLT again. Service was good. Went back to the convention center and realized my backpack zipper was open and my wallet fell out. I retraced my strips and called them thinking I have nothing to lose. They found it! This place use to be great. More and more, they treat customers like numbers and they don't have to give you any service. Sad. I decided to eat at the bar. I say down and the bartender saw me several times and just ignored me. She didn't even bother to stop and clean up the prior customers mess. A party of two sat down next to me and she was there cleaning up their area and taking their drink order in 30 seconds. Not bothering to say squat to me. Then she had the nerve to ask me for my drink order. Not politely considering how awful the experience was up to now....just What do you want? Said like I was bothering her. Condescending and rude. That was it. Third strike. I had two other bad experiences there. The was no reason to patronize this place any longer. Note to self!!!!! Never ever come to this location again. The first red flag was the server taking our orders thinking she could memorize our order and still got it wrong. Then the utensils were still stained with food so I asked another server if she could bring me plastic to-go utensil and she gave me this crazy look and I said because the utensils are still dirty. My food was luke warm and fries were also cold. Looks like the health department is due to pay them a visit. I actually like them more than the old version. they taste for fresh and healthy. and they CRISPY. Highly recommend the new side of fries. . The bartender provided great service today. We walked in and sat at the bar for a quick lunch, having shots and a burger. The decor was fun and for some reason, their menu reminded me of Dave and Buster's. There weren't many light options, and every dish had over 1200 calories. Visited on: 5/21/22 THE EXPERIENCE: We came here due to attending the Women's Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center. When we walked in we waited a few mins and a hostess walked up and greeted us. Then a waitress came and brought us to our table. Wished I could say I knew her name - she greeted us but failed to mention her name. We were seated at a nice booth -very spacious (no outdoor seating was available). We were given drinks to start and placed our orders OUR ORDER: Endless Tortilla Soup with Tortilla chips on the side, sweet potato fries, Mia Crisp (modified) - wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, purple onions added guacamole and bbq sauce on the side w/ regular fries. Okay, so EVERYONE knows that it's a no-no to bring out one persons meal without bringing out the other, right? Well, apparently everyone else knows this except this place! The tortilla soup was brought out and I just sat there waiting and waiting and waiting. WHEN I DID GET MY meal the fries were hard like they had been sitting and then the cook re-fried them to make them hot (I'm a foodie- you can't pull one over on me... mkay!) My burger didn't come with the bbq sauce that I asked for. I had to tell the waitress (whose name I still don't know) that I wanted bbq sauce and her response was, "Oh, you want a side of bbq sauce?" I'm thinking ummmm yeah that's what I asked for originally but I just said "yes". I also asked for fresh fries and was told, "It will take about 3 mins, is that okay?" 3 MINS or so later... I get the fries I should have gotten to start. Hot, fresh, seasoned... WOULD I RECOMMEND? WOULD I RETURN? I would not recommend this location to anyone. I would not return here if it was free. You should never bring out 1 person's food without bringing the others. You should pay attention when the customers glass needs to be refilled.
