I have lived in LA most of my life and all of the companies we have used charge half this amount or less and it is applied toward the repair. We found a company in San Diego (which is much further from Oceanside) to diagnose the issue for $90 AND it is applied to the repair. I wouldn't waste my time with this company as the excessive charge and refusal to apply it to the repair is a red flag in my opinion.
