What a great place. We have been here several times, but today was especially delicious. The corned beef hash is truly incredible. The pulled pork burrito was filled with cheese and ork and all kinds of goodness. We so enjoyed our breakfast. we will definitely be back. Long wait for ok-ish food. The family stopped by on a weekend, and it was over an hour's wait. When we did get seating, it was a tiny booth for the number of people in our party. The waitress was nice and got our order quickly. The kids love their hot cocoa. My meal and my husband tasted blah. During our stay near Issaquah, we discovered the Issaquah Cafe, and it turned out to be a hidden gem we didn't expect. The place was bustling with regulars--always a good sign--but despite the crowd, our wait time was shorter than anticipated. From the moment we were seated, Carrie took incredible care of us. After some time pondering the menu, we settled on the French Toast Griddle Combo, the 1/2 Hobo Scramble, Steak & Eggs, and a Waffle with fresh fruit. Every dish hit the spot, but what really made the experience exceptional was Carrie's intuitive service. Before we could even think to ask, she was there with beverages, condiments, extra napkins--everything we needed, almost as if she could read our minds. With our stomachs full and our spirits high, we left feeling ready for a day of sightseeing. I do not know how it is even possible for them to get the scrambles out that quickly. My favorite (and that of my friends') is the scrambles. Hashbrowns mixed in scrambled eggs then you choose 4 items that are mixed in from a long list of options. Soooo good. Not greasy. Perfectly done. You can get it like that a la cart or with pancakes (they have gluten-free) or toast or a biscuit). The servers have worked there for a long time and are really good at their jobs and the right amount of friendly. They are their right when you need them. I love supporting this business. First time ever at this place. I had a Dr appt and the hubby wanted us to have breakfast. He googled the nearest place and this cafe came up. We waited for 10 min before we got seated and then put our order in. Our waiter Rochelle was super sweet and present right away. I did order the create your omelettes with egg white. Gluten free pancake and fruits. My omelette came out with whole eggs. Right away I asked Rochelle is this an egg white? Without her thinking about it she said the truth. She said I am so sorry it's my mistake I forget to put the egg white request. To me this is a jackpot cuz I love honest people and she was honest. She didn't blame it on the kitchen staff as I wouldn't know what happened. She said the truth. She took it out and ran to the kitchen. I had my one gluten free pancake and my fruits. The manager came with my food and was apologetic for the mixup. Again that's another plus for me cuz they have amazing humble attitude that makes you at ease. So yes even if I don't have appt in the area I will make the effort to go there every now and then to enjoy breakfast in an honest restaurant and amazing staff. We're out running errands in Issaquah and hubby is hungry. We thought let's grab a bite at Issaquah Cafe. The cafe is in compliance with the county's Covid policy. Servers are masked and we were asked to show proof of vaccination. There was a 15/20 minute wait for a table so we opted to sit at the counter. My husband ordered some Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. I snagged some of those fries- for Yelp's sake of course. The were delicious I had the chili lime steak wrap. This was quite good although I didn't detect much chili so I would say it's mild. I enjoyed my lunch but would have preferred some more kick or salsa on the side. Would I order again? Came here on a Sunday and it was BUSY! Wait time was an hour. We waited in the small l lobby, but you could give a cell phone number and they will text you when your table is ready. The wait time is pretty accurate, and when we sat down, we were instantly greeted by our server. We ordered our food, and it came in a quick manner. My husband ordered the two egg meal that came with hashbrowns, toast, and bacon. My daughter ordered the M&m pancake with one slice of bacon. I ordered the half omelette.
