The coffee here was pretty good. Loved the indoor seating and was dog friendly. The beef croissant was just ok. Not too much flavor and it maybe I just prefer a plain croissant. Cute little shop. Id get the coffee but probably not the croissant.

If you need to wake up immediately, this is the place. I tried their egg coffee on my first visit, and it was good! Rich, creamy, and seriously strong. I drank it a little too fast and my heart was def palpitating 30 minutes later, but it absolutely got the job done lol. Aside from the high voltage coffee, the ambiance is nice and peaceful with plenty of parking. Highly recommend, just sip slowly!

A new Vietnamese owned coffee shop! I came by on a Wednesday to do work since I was meeting my friend nearby for dinner & wanted to avoid rush hour traffic. I tried their biscoff matcha, which is only seasonal/off menu but they still made it for me. With the thick cream top and biscoff cookie & crumbs, it tasted very creamy and milky kind of like a biscoff blended drink or icecream. The matcha was barely there but it didn't bother me too much as it satisfied my biscoff craving. It is dairy heavy fyi so I needed a lactaid. I also ordered their beef croissant, which was practically a hamburger with a croissant instead of burger buns. Overall, a really chill spot to study/do work with ample seating, outlets, wifi, and abundant parking! I'd come back to try their other matcha & coffee drinks :-)

This Vietnamese coffee place is located in the same parking lot as K Sandwiches. They feature Vietnamese coffee brewed by phin filter the traditional Vietnamese way. I got a large Vietnamese coffee, The lady asked if i wanted it 25%, i wasn't sure what that meant but I guess if she asked then thats how most people order it, so i just went with it. I got a large and it was nice and smooth, not too sweet and still had a good coffee flavor, so i guess 25% sweet was the way to go. The cup had a sticker that said regular ice and 25% sweet, so i guess i could order less ice, which would mean more coffee, so I'd order it that way less time. 25% sweet and half ice. I like that they have other options like salted foam, ube, foam and egg foam. I did wish they had coconut coffee which is a thing I'd get while i was in Vietnam. They also have non coffee options with fruit and matcha as well as pastries. There are a few tables inside and one outside. Service was quick and easy, theres lots of parking in the private lot that it shares with Rose Donuts and K Sandwiches.

Vietnamese coffee shops seem to be springing up more in the SD area. One of the latest is Drip Beans Coffee which is located in the Kearny Square of the Clairemont neighborhood where a poke shop used to operate. Parking in the shared lot can be hit or miss because of the businesses in the plaza that can draw large volumes of customers during meal times. The inside of the suite had about half a dozen small round tables for seating. Three menu screens hung high on the wall to the left of the service counter. Phin-dripped coffees were listed on the first screen, matcha and tea drinks were shown on the middle screen, and pastries (croissants/croffles/waffles) were on the last screen. Of the six matcha varieties, I picked the Strawberry Matcha Latte. Matcha, whole milk, and strawberry puree were the ingredients. The cup was layered from top to bottom in green, white and red to reflect the above contents. The puree was one of the fruitier strawberry layers I have tasted in this type of drink. The staff was pleasant despite being preoccupied with assembling orders. For the price and quality of my item, I gave a four star rating for my visit to Drip Beans Coffee.

I came here to have coffee while discussing work. It was my first time here and requested a meeting place that had easy parking. It wasn't too busy today around 10a. The place wasn't too full . There's one restroom in back. I didn't realize they had a self order ipad so I just placed order with cashier. They didn't have any cream to add to their straight black coffee so I just ordered it as-is (iced). I was surprised it was almost $7 for a 20oz serving . They call your order when it's ready for you to go to counter to pick up. The coffee tasted like standard strong ice coffee. I was hoping for a smoother taste especially for the premium price. The wifi also wasn't accessible so we couldn't use my laptop to discuss some things. Maybe I'd come back to try another coffee drink if i was nearby in the future.

There is another great Vietnamese coffee place to try. I got salted coffee and ube coffee and both are delicious. The place is clean and you can do self order. Great customer service. I will come back to try the fruit tea

We came to get Rocky's since we came back after a very long time to San Diego and found out Rockies ended up moving locations and Drop took its place! They did such a great job renovating this space into a much more open area for customers to sit. We got the Ube Coffee and the Salted coffee and both were average. We were really expecting more ube flavor from the Ube foamed Vietnamese coffee and more of a salted flavor from the Salted coffee. It was smooth coffee which really sold us in wanting to come back but as far as flavors we weren't impressed. We definitely can't wait to come back to try other flavors.

I love discovering small business, and this new Vietnamese coffee shop in Linda Vista is a winner! I had the breakfast combo consisting of a Vietnamese coffee and a croissant sandwich. You can choose from beef, chicken, or ham and cheese. I went with the beef for $10.99 plus tax. First of all, the croissant sandwich was quite tasty. The beef was tender, well seasoned and delicious. It came on a warm soft and crusty croissant, and with fresh tomatoes, cilantro, and lettuce. It was a delicious beef sandwich. The Vietnamese coffee was well made. It was strong yet smooth. I actually had it with no sugar but with just milk, and it was still great to drink. They offer a variety of tea and coffee based beverages. There is inside and outside seating available. The employees were very sweet and welcoming. There's a good amount of parking available. Great new spot in Linda Vista.

Discovered this coffee shop after grabbing breakfast around the corner. I saw the grand opening banner so I made it a point to check them out. The eatery just opened two days prior and is modern and cozy. I ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee which was strong and flavorful just the way I like it. Overall, a pleasant experience and I recommend checking them out. Btw, they also offer fresh pastries too. Greeted by a friendly female

It's cute inside and there's plenty of parking in the lot. The Vietnamese coffee was tasty and strong, the flavor of the matcha lattes was okay.

Saw that this place had opened up not too long ago and was craving some Vietnamese coffee so came by to check this place out. I went with the salted Vietnamese coffee and my partner went with the matcha cloud. They told me that the coffee starts at 25% sweetness which I felt was perfectly fine for this drink. The salted foam was not too salty and complemented the drink well. Like other Vietnamese coffees it was plenty strong. As for the matcha cloud I felt like the matcha foam was tasty but overall there wasn't enough matcha flavor for me. The coconut water and matcha did pair well together but if I were to come back I don't think I'd go for the matcha again. If I lived around here I'd definitely come by more often!

The Vietnamese coffee here is sooo delicious!! I've had them several times now and I've also saved their coffee for the morning after and it was still very tasty. Service is always quick and they're good to offer any help and answers to questions. The cafe itself has plenty of seating and is nice and bright! I didn't notice many/any outlets so probably not the best place for studying. Parking lot usually has plenty of parking given its open hours and is in proximity of several good restaurants. I would def rec the egg coffee! It's super creamy! The standard is 75% sweetness but if you find plain viet coffee too dark/bitter I would recommend 100% sweetness with at least normal ice level (to water it down). The matcha series is also nice but I believe the viet coffee is where it really shines!

OVERVIEW Come for the equally balanced, delicious coffee AND matcha drinks; the spacious work setting; the side entertainment (like a free bookshelf + camp chairs outside), and incredible ownership. Be prepared for hard parking during peak hours (lunchtime) and possible lack of seats (especially during schooltime). DRINKS It is RARE to find a shop whose matcha is on par with its coffee; normally, one is better than the other. Easy Does It, or EDI as we affectionately call it, is pro at BOTH. With coffee served from Provecho, matcha from Nami and hojicha from Paru??? You just hit a trifecta of GOOD good. Our Typical Order: 1) Iced Earl Grey Latte - omg, I LOVE the earthiness that the earl grey syrup brings to the matcha. Matcha, to me, is either too grassy or too sweet; the earl grey syrup makes it a perfectly earthy balance. 2) Honey Cinnamon Latte - how good could a standard coffee shop latte be, you ask? They have the HCL at almost every shop, and it's not usually standout. EDI, again, blew expectations wide open. Their HCL is balanced: sweet without being saccharine; and you can actually taste the cinnamon. 3) Hojicha Latte, Hot - omg, there was a time when I ordered almost one of these A DAY. Again, another sleeper - if you like the taste of coffee but can't take the caffeine (for a late night drink, perhaps), a hojicha is a good choice. It has that grounded taste that coffee gives, and the hot version of it is like a HUG for your mouth and stomach. They also have cool inventive flavors like the Matcha Cloud, the Coconut Cream Cloud (which is a coffee cloud on top of coconut water, I hear it's refreshing), so you'll never get tired of the drinks they have here. I also want to mention that they do serve wine and beer, too... so there's something for everyone! FOOD Spend any time in a coffee shop and know... you're gonna get hungry! Thankfully, EDI has open-faced bagel sandwiches AND pastries here, all of which look mighty tasty; all of which I cannot partake in, since I am gluten free. But ohhh, gluten warriors unite! Thanks to the partnership that is Jacob of Made for Mei Mei Mochi (aka the protein mochi) and Easy Does It, you'll have your PICK of 5 different flavors of homemade, chewy, ooey, DELICIOUS MOCHI -- SANS added sugars and preservatives you normally find in the store. I'm telling you, I don't normally like mochi (it tends to be so sweet) but I love the texture. And Made for Mei Mei hits it all! Flavors include: 1) chocolate hazelnut -- which tastes like Ferrer Rocher, yum 2) ube 3) green tea / red bean 4) black sesame 5) pb&j (yes, he's stocked peanut butter & jelly, a fan-demanded flavor) My favorites are #1 and #4; sometimes I go for #2 and #5 to mix it up. Either way, I spend WAY too much on these tiny li'l treats I might as well become an early investor. AMBIENCE This place is perfect for computer work as light doesn't directly fill the whole space. I like a li'l shade when I'm staring at a bright computer screen. There are two rooms: front and back; the back is a li'l darker and more chill vibes than the front. I also appreciate that they have a free bookshelf (just replenish it with your own!), plus a few magazines scattered around (for decoration, but I still browse). I miss when coffee shops had analog media, especially for when we don't want to be glued to our screens. EXTRA CREDIT Easy Does It also offers their shop as space for community events. From mahjong with No Ambition Tile Club to wine and jazz nights IN SUM THANK YOU Easy Does It ~ Grace, Nancy, the sister I haven't met, Eugenia, and the entire team ~ for creating a lovely third space where I can work, enjoy my snacks / drinks, meet friends and co-work, and have a great conversation. You make it so easy to feel welcomed, and I'll forever be grateful for you :)

My second favorite is the Chocolate Boba Egg Tart. The chocolate and boba complement the egg tart really well. The crunchy little boba balls aren't too sticky, and the sweetness is nicely balanced. The Espresso Egg Tart comes in third. It has a smooth, mellow coffee flavor that's not overpowering and pairs well with the creamy custard. As for the Dubai Chocolate Egg Tart, it's very crunchy and not overly sweet. However, the chocolate layers were so chunky that I couldn't really taste much of the egg tart itself.
