Been in NJ for 25 years from NY, besides tomato pies hard pressed to find really really good regular pizza. Until today. Came here on recommendation of friend then did yelp research. Was told they have a TON of pies ready at the counter and was not wrong at all. Tons of pies and all looked tremendous. So that was good start. The place looks pretty modern and well kept and clean. There is available al fresco dining outside. People behind the counter and cash register seemed very nice and polite and greeted you when you come in. You place order and they bring you the food to your table. Had a Sicilian slice and mushroom slice. Really tasty sauce and they are not skimpy with it which I like because you want to taste sauce. Ooey gooey fresh mozzarella, chewy/crispy crust. All good. Luckily this place is near to where I live so can go back again and again. Spoke to the owner's brother behind the counter and gave them kudos. Person I ate with also said some of the best pizza he has ever had. read more

Very friendly staff , the restaurant is kind of tucked away , like a delicious lil secret lol! , we came in hungry and decided to order a slice while we wait for our meals ...which was a delicious mistake, because the servings were so generous. OK, we used to really like this restaurant, and had pretty good food every time we went there. However, that changed when we went there last week. The meal got off to a pretty good start, when they served hot Italian rolls, with our choice of butter or olive oil. We then had mozzarella sticks as an appitiser. They were very good. Things went downhill from there. We both ordered Chicken Saltimbocca. I had a Ceasar salad with my meal, which wasn't bad, but it was over dressed. My wife ordered the pasta fagioli (sp?), which was served cold. Yes, cold. When we complained, they nuked it, and sent it back out. The chicken had decent flavor, but was very salty because it had rather thick slices of prosciutto on it. The sauce was also kind of greasy. It wasn't too bad with my meal because I ordered the pasta to be served with the main course. However, my wife had her pasta on the side, with tomato sauce, and found the dish to be entirely too greasy. She tried a few bites of it, and decided she just couldn't eat it. We called our server over and complained. She took the dish away and asked if she wanted a different dish. She decided just to have a slice of pizza, which was reheated, and not all that good. When we got the bill, we found that we were charged for both the chicken and the pizza. We complained, but they refused to do anything about it. I hate to lose what had been a decent Italian restaurant, since they are pretty rare in the Monroe area, but we decided we wouldn't be coming back. read more

Where to start!? The bread is amazing. It's baked on premises! I could sit here and just eat bread and be happy but the food is so good I have to make a compromise. To start we ordered garlic knots they were fluffy as clouds and beyond tasty. The calamari was okay nothing to rave about but our entrees were a totally different ballgame. We ordered chicken parm, chicken piccata, eggplant rollanti, chicken francese, tortellini alfredo family style -with sides of garlic and oil pasta. Ordered from here twice, first time pizza to go- eggplant slice, hawaiian slice and buffalo chicken slice, all very good, thick enough crust to hold toppings, but not too thick to over power. 2nd order was pasta dishes and they were both very good, pasta cooked right, nice amount of sauce and cheese! Garlic knots were nothing to write home about...but the bread is good! Outdoor seating is very nice only thing missing is soft Italian music and propane heaters on cooler nights. Inside is nice too, but has more of a 'pizza place' feel instead of a place to go for saturday night dinner (no separate dinning room)- hence the outside dinning, but what about winter? 5 stars for very good food, clean place and friendly wait staff. read more

Came here by accident and the food is excellent! The portion is SO BIG! I could only finish 1/3 of it and I was in a very hungry state. I ordered chicken marinara with angel hair and my hubby ordered calamari pasta. They were both very tasty! After an 8 hr drive we were hungry and tired and thought we'd get a quick bite. As we walked in we thought what a cozy comfortable place so we sat in the dining room and were greeted by several friendly staff that throughout the meal were very attentive. We ordered Fried Calamari first!! Ohhhh so tender and the coating light and crispy. Next was a salad... nicely done and the main dish, the Eggplant Parmesan... multiple layers of thin sliced eggplant topped with marinara and cheese with pasta on the side. Can you say HUGE? So good. Our other main dish was Lasagna. Again, a large portion. My one comment is I prefer lots of layers... this was a bit thinner than I make, but very tasty! If we lived closer I'd definitely come back again and again!! A hidden gem for sure. We never did have the pizza... but my goodness there had to have been 18 types of sliced pieces ready to go! YUM. Back again on our way south. We liked this place so much we planned our trip so we could come here again! Chicken Parm, Chicken Marsala, and Rolled Eggplant... oh so good! Every time I dine at Italian Touch I am never disappointed. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the friendly staff. As you look over the menu the waitress brings you warm bread with some nice seasoned olive oil. If you like something with kick, the calamari fra diavolo is a great choice. For dinner I usually go with the flounder francese because it's just that good and the pasta is always a nice al dente like it should be. Additionally, the soups are always homemade and the salads are always fresh and lastly, try the tiramisu for dessert! This was our first visit. Our appetizer was excellent, we ordered stuffed eggplant, which was very creamy. Our salads were fine. Everything was downhill from here. The bread was fair, ask for butter as the oil made me choke. My husband had penne with meat sauce, it was watery and worse of all the grated cheese tasted terrible? I actually switched it from another table and still was not edible! I ordered chicken ptarmigan with angel hair, Very bland, the pasta was starchy! The huge portions were actually a Turn off!! Finally one of the recommendations before we went was their cannoli was delish. Well maybe a new chef was working tonight. Since my husband and I thought it was the consistency of spackle? Pretty sure no sugar was used either. One other note. Change your sign on Rt 130. It looks like you are called Pizza and Pasta, as someone told us it was? DONT STOP HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and patron this business. They charge if you ask for parmesan cheese to go. That's after spending $18.50 on a baked ziti dish at their restaurant. My family and I are in the Marriott Hotel down the street and don't have access to our own parmesan cheese at this time. They told me, " When I opened my doors this morning there was nothing outside for free waiting outside for me, so we charge for everything." The customer service is horrible. We ordered take out en route to NYC. I had a slice of grandma's pizza and my BF ordered the turkey sub. The pizza was delicious. The crust was incredible - thin, airy and crisp. I chose a slice, fortunately, with lots of fresh, tasty sauce. I didn't try the sub, but it looked great - fresh ingredients with a generous amount of meat and veggies - and fresh homemade bread. Friendly, helpful service in a bright and clean space. We made a mental note to Exit 8A on our next trip out of town. Pleasant surprise! read more

Truly horrible Italian food. We decided to go their with family reading all the good reviews and we regret that to this day. Coming from North Jersey we know what top notch Italian food tastes like. The Chicken Francaise smelled of raw eggs and was extremely "lemony". Chicken Cacciatore tasted disgusting as well. Customer service was terrible. The waitresses looked tired and frustrated. This is a great place for a slice of pizza. The owner there has very good enthusiasm. I also like the atmosphere of the place. Although I haven't been to Italy, I got that vibe from it. They also have various types of pizzas that give us a great choices. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. BTW parking may be hectic around lunch time so be careful. What a great find! I came here with my family after being turned down at a different restaurant where we (unknowingly) had to make a reservation. I was really in the mood for a great Italian dish so when we first walked in to see what looked like a pizza place I was a bit disappointed- boy was I wrong. This BYOB gem has the friendliest wait staff ever and such amazing food. We ordered both the buffalo calamari and regular friend calamari to start which were outstanding. I ordered the linguini with clam sauce as my dish and could not have ordered better. The serving was HUGE. Enough to last me 2 more meals over the next couple of days. This place has amazing Pizza. Me and my family pulled off an exit to get some food and we actually accidentally pulled into the parking lot. Was this a good mistake. Reasonably priced, tasty pizza at it's best. I suggest anyone in the Cranbury area check out this place. We only had their pizza, but I'm sure everything on the menu is great. Their sign to get their isn't extremely noticeable so make sure you keep your eyes open. You won't regret it!!! read more
