The top was crunchy and contrasted nicely with the soft cheese underneath. The cheese was pretty creamy and smooth, and had a fresh taste. You can get the strudels either freshly baked or frozen to bake later; same with the pies, I suspect. The pie and apple strudel are the absolute best I've ever had, and I grew up with a grandma who made these desserts! The poppy seed strudel was also very good, but it has raisins, which is traditional, but I personally don't like very much. The apple strudel does not have raisins - yay! Soon as we walked in we were greeted and we already knew we wanted the ice cream nachos from the pictures on yelp. We didn't realize how big the scoops were going to be AND we got a topping per scoop. I got the peanut butter paradise with Reese pieces and my wife got the lemon cheesecake ice cream with strawberry crunch. There wasn't an area to sit but it was well lit. We just ate in our car and it was amazing, the scoops were so big we took most of it home and are now enjoying it the day after. Go to this place if you're in the mood for ice cream.
