My girlfriend and I recently bought a home and one of the fabulous home warming presents we received was a German roach infestation that was clearly hidden while we would come to view the home. It slowly got worse with time until we realized that our own attempts to get rid of the problem were useless. We scheduled a service with Bugs or Us and have been completely satisfied with what they have provided. Everyone has been incredibly helpful throughout the time of getting our house serviced and their staff has been responsive and detailed in getting our service set up. We purchased the "warranty" with our service as we knew that German roaches are difficult to get rid of and they advised to do so in the event that they kept popping up. If you have ever had German roaches or attempted to get rid of them, then you know one time is not enough especially once you start seeing the little ones crawling around. They have come out three times to service our home. Every experience has been professional and overall great. We still have time left in our 90 days for them to come again and they clearly have no issue with using the warranty. We currently have not seen one roach or even a dead body in a couple of weeks. Totally unreliable. I used to use them quarterly and everything was fine the 1st year. After that, they would call every single visit to either try to come early or tell me they were going to be late. What is the point of wasting a customer's time to set appointments if you are going to constantly break them? This last time appointment broke the camels back. My appointment was scheduled from 2 to 4 PM on Friday. First, they called me to see if they could come early, once the night before and again in the morning. I told them I couldn't make it any ealier. At around 5pm, they called to say they were going to be late. This was an entire hour after the appointment window ended. I asked how long and they said around 30 mins. About 45 mins later, the tech called and stated he was 30 to 40 mins away! What took the cake was when I stated that this was two hours after the appointment time, the tech was not at all apologetic giving a glib remark about not being able to control traffic. Since they tried to reschedule the day before, I doubt they had any intention of making their commitment. Who has time to wait around 2+ hours on a Friday waiting for these bozos to show up? read more

I hired this company in October 2017 for a termite inspection when I bought my home; they gave me the all clear which assured me that there was not a termite infestation. After I moved into the house I used them for routine quarterly bug maintenance, everything seemed good. In the spring of 2019 I noticed small winged insects that looked like ants inside of my home; I called the company and they sent someone out. The guy insisted that it was not termites but an ant infestation. He treated for ants and the problem seemed to go away. The very next April, I came home from work and the front door and windows are covered by bugs which I then knew for sure to be termites. I called this company out again and this time they confirmed what was obvious that the house was infested with termites. HOW???? After I paid them for an Inspection just two years ago???? Silly me bought into some stupid excuse they gave and signed up for termite extermination. I agreed to pay these people 3,000.00 for them to eradicate the pest. Guess what happened twelve months later, more termites swarming out of my house. I called the company again, they sent someone out AGAIN, termites again. This time they said that they needed to leave bait traps for the termites. I don't know why they didn't do this initially but it did matter because they never came with the traps. I would call every couple of weeks from May 2022 to September and would get promises of they would take care of the problem but they never did. They told me multiple times that they would come out with the traps but never did. Finally, I gave up and contacted Terminix. I tried to support the small guy but I have to be honest about this companies incompetence. I have paid over 15,000 repairing termite damaged walls and floors. If the initial inspection was correct and alerted me to the problem I could have saved myself a ton of headaches and just so you know the size of the infestation in my home implies that the bugs were there at the time of the inspection. If I could give a 0 I would! I had them come out and do bed bug heat treatment and the first guy they sent out was new to there company and he told me all my stuff would be ok left in the house even after I followed there instructions. He melted our tv he melted almost all of are shoes even our blinds that he told us to take down but leave in the house so we did! And the tv that he melted it got so hot that it went all the way through the wall and melted the out side of our house. So I called and spoke with the owner my self Calvin and he came out and looked at everything I even have pictures and he said he was so sorry and he would replace everything and get our siding on the house fixed. He still a year later not done a thing I call him he just gives me the runaround! read more

Ignore the other reviews if you read through them some are from employees!! I spent $160 for a German roach infection which is what I was told had invaded us. They were nice and the tech was nice and quick. That's great but I still have the issue and never saw one dead bug!!! They applied one treatment then came back 3 weka for a follow up. At the time they called and I stated the situation had not improved and they assured me this 2nd treatment would do the trick give it time. 2 months later it went from seeing a roach occasionally to seeing them frequently!! After $160 I would expect some improvement. I emailed them and now they say I said their was great improvement! I never said that. Buyer beware!!! 07/21/2015 Service date, Bed Bug issue: I called Bugs R us to address a very serious problem in my condo. I spoke to Elisa on the phone who understood and took a moment to really listen to the problem and situation. Elisa sent out a tech to come by and appraise the Bed Bug Issue. After which time he explained all the options available to me as a client. I choose the Heat Treatment. This was very easy to work with, For those considering doing a heat treatment... Do it, its not cheap but it works. Gary came out in the morning and set up went over all the details made sure I didn't miss anything on my prep work. There are some things you have to do before a heat treatment is done. Made sure it was completed called to let me know when to turn on the air conditioner and was really helpful. Texas Bugs R Us is a great company to hire for your pest control issue. Calvin is a great man that came and took care of our termite situation several weeks ago, and we have not seen one termite makes its way out of where they were coming out. He mentioned that usually it takes 90 days to kill termites and to travel down to the colony, but the problem was resolved faster than what he mentioned. Whatever product he is using it sure is good. I recommend Texas Bugs R Us for your pest control needs and as well I thank Calvin for fast service and progress of holding down our pest control issue. I called Bugs or Us after we discovered vermin had chewed our pex pipe and created leaks. They came out the same afternoon, on my schedule, and evaluated the problem. The technician explained to me what he saw and what that meant (I had a definite education in rodent varieties) and then he came up with a recommended plan of action. I agreed and within an hour the work was complete. The rodent service provides that they'll come out over the next three months and they are going to do exclusion work, as well, to prevent the return of the mice in my attic.
