    Outdoor deck overlooking canal

A lovely place to grab lunch and a drink after walking on the canal towpath near Washington Crossing and Titusville. The outdoor deck is right next to the D&R Canal with a view of the Delaware River bridge. We got a mushroom burger and a veggie burger and were pleased with the food and reasonable prices. There is a decent beer list with enough to choose from on tap - not just IPAs. Our server couldn't have been more pleasant. We didn't have to wait long for anything even though she was tending bar at the same time. The place can get busy, so it probably helped that we were there mid-afternoon on a weekday.

This restaurant is on the Jersey side of Washington crossing park. The food was pretty good. I would give everything an 8/10 overall. We sat on the back deck which offered a nice view. They had some good specials and an extensive menu. This place good use some renovations in my opinion. That's the reason for the 4 stars.

Decided to go here after hiking nearby, it was a nice night, the patio was very pretty and it didn't look too busy. The service was pretty good, but the food was just alright. I got the turkey club and I had no complaints, it tasted like any other turkey club I've had. The tater tots were very crispy and soft on the inside! My friend got the chicken fettuccini and she wasn't super impressed. She said that the chicken was a weird consistency, and the sauce wasn't very flavorful and just tasted like chicken broth. She also ordered the chocolate cake, which she said was decent, but you could tell it had been frozen. The drinks were tasty, and the prices were decent. Would probably come back just to have a few drinks and enjoy the view, but not sure if I'd come back for dinner.

Such a nice find just across the river. We've passed by a few times and finally made a go of it on Father's Day. No reservations, first come seating on the deck overlooking the bridge and walking paths. Too much shade to see the river. We were seated within 5 minutes. 2 adults and 1 dog. They were very crowded and tables were close together but that allowed for good conversation with our neighbors. Beer list was long, cocktails were creative, and wine was plentiful. There was a list of specials along with the regular menu of apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees. Happy to see vegetarian options. We had the mussels appetizer (be sure to specify marinara or white wine). Mussels were a good size for this not being an "-er" month. Note: marinara version had cheese sprinkled. Husband went for ribs and fries; I had fried fish sandwich and onion rings. Ribs were good - meat didn't fall off the bone, but had a good flavor. Fish was flaky, onion rings were excellent. Overall, great ambience and servers, good food. We'll be back to try more!

Although it wasn't the first time we'd stopped at Patriot's Crossing when in the area on a Sunday, our most recent visit found the food disappointing. Hummus isn't an item I order out unless it is homemade. I was in the mood for something light, not meat, without cheese, and not fried, so hummus and salads were they apparent options. The hummus was touted as homemade, with homemade naan, and accompanied by some raw vegetables. Perfect option for the occasion. Unfortunately, there's more to hummus than tossing a can of chick peas in a blender with salt, dumping them in a soup bowl, pouring a little oil on the top, and stabbing the edges of the concoction with stiff, crisp, wedges of tandoori bread. (Yes, you did read stiff and crisp. Slightly stale should probably be added to that description.) The plate arrived, sans the vegetables, which the server apparently forgot to serve with them. This was remedied, but the vegetables - spongy sliced cucumber, woody carrot sticks (some inedible), and celery - were unappetizing and tasteless. Husband's cheese steak didn't impress me either, but he said he enjoyed it. The servers were friendly, but service seemed a little lackadaisical. The location is nice, particularly the outdoor patio. Warrior Watch members on motorcycles were passing through the area via the bridge, so it wasn't quite the relaxing repast we envisioned. LOL. Dear Patriot's Crossing folks - please pay more attention to what you are serving. You can do better.

The materials make it look like a public facing pub serving new-american food and beer. I was surprised I had never heard of this place as long as I've lived in the area, and now I know why! If you really want to know what it was like.... Walked in, waited 5 minutes with one to two dozen geriatric sun stroked golfers gawking at my wife (one of three females in the building including the bar tender and one waitress?). Eventually someone in a spiffy polo shirt asked if we are here for "a quick lunch". It was past 5. Anyway, I say "Yea, dinner and some beer.". Now at this point, he does not offer to seat us. Instead he just stands there and looks at us. It was super awkward. Taking the initiative, I ask if we should seat ourselves. He says sure sit anywhere you like. Many of the tables were dirty, and they claim they open at 4pm (so its been just an hour yet..). We managed to sit at a clean table in the middle of the room. Then we waited again. Watched a few more walking viagra commercials try to eye fuck my wife and another girl who had the misfortune of being there. I wink at the wife to signal that we might bag it. Waited some more. Kid started getting cranky. No activity. I see the guy that we originally talked to was still hiding in the corner, clearly he wasn't trying to serve us. No utensils/menu/greeting, no activity etc. There was only one waitress and she was clearly busy trying to pretend that she liked golfers. So we bagged it and left. Other then giving this place a shot I have no regrets about walking out. Not planning to try it again. Would not recommend unless you are the type that needs to drink beer when you tell your family you are golfing.

From early conversations with the event manager to the way the entire staff treated me yesterday on-site, Vault's customer service is unmatched. I'd been exchanging emails with Sarah (the event manager) since February to ensure the space was the right fit. Sarah answered all my questions, responded to me in a timely manner, provided ample time for my bridesmaids and I to set up decor and we were permitted to bring our own cake and desserts. The bartender allowed me to Airdrop my custom bridal shower playlist to an iPad that was connected to their surround sound speakers so I could play the music I intended to play. She was attentive, kind and placed purses and miscellaneous items in the back area so it wouldn't be in guest view. She cut the cake for us towards the end of the event. Truly such outstanding service. The event space is located downstairs, completely separate from the main dining area and there is a private restroom. It was a wonderful size for my guest count of 16 people. Everyone in attendance raved about the chicken nachos and the pizza. I personally loved the Wild Mushroom pizza. The food kept getting refilled as the day went on. Each item was labeled and the bar had several menus to look at. This was executed PERFECTLY. I had such a positive experience and would highly recommend Vault Brewing Co. for all your event needs!

Have to say that while it appears to be an amusement park from beyond the fence with massive water slides and multiple aquamarine pools for various uses; from within it makes more sense and is actually quite attractive in a hyperactive way. Happy Hour with half price drinks was a good deal, and the bar food offerings were also well designed to complement the alcoholic drinks, if not all that tasty, nor compelling in their own right. So many people in a relatively small space around the bar, that conversation was a bit challenging. Plenty of alternative distractions among the many "beautiful" folks who enjoy being the center of attention, and know how to do it right, especially when encouraged with beverage. With music playing in the background the experience was a mixed bag. Clearly, the plan is a bit over the top, and made for people with kids or those who like this glitterati experience. Yet, there was a full house that evening, and business was booming. Covid put an end to the crowds for the last year, but I suspect the club will be back in action full tilt come vaccinations and reduced mask wearing. I'm the more cautious type, and will wait a while before accepting my next invitation.
