Outdoor deck overlooking canal

A lovely place to grab lunch and a drink after walking on the canal towpath near Washington Crossing and Titusville. The outdoor deck is right next to the D&R Canal with a view of the Delaware River bridge. We got a mushroom burger and a veggie burger and were pleased with the food and reasonable prices. There is a decent beer list with enough to choose from on tap - not just IPAs. Our server couldn't have been more pleasant. We didn't have to wait long for anything even though she was tending bar at the same time. The place can get busy, so it probably helped that we were there mid-afternoon on a weekday.

This restaurant is on the Jersey side of Washington crossing park. The food was pretty good. I would give everything an 8/10 overall. We sat on the back deck which offered a nice view. They had some good specials and an extensive menu. This place good use some renovations in my opinion. That's the reason for the 4 stars.

Decided to go here after hiking nearby, it was a nice night, the patio was very pretty and it didn't look too busy. The service was pretty good, but the food was just alright. I got the turkey club and I had no complaints, it tasted like any other turkey club I've had. The tater tots were very crispy and soft on the inside! My friend got the chicken fettuccini and she wasn't super impressed. She said that the chicken was a weird consistency, and the sauce wasn't very flavorful and just tasted like chicken broth. She also ordered the chocolate cake, which she said was decent, but you could tell it had been frozen. The drinks were tasty, and the prices were decent. Would probably come back just to have a few drinks and enjoy the view, but not sure if I'd come back for dinner.

Such a nice find just across the river. We've passed by a few times and finally made a go of it on Father's Day. No reservations, first come seating on the deck overlooking the bridge and walking paths. Too much shade to see the river. We were seated within 5 minutes. 2 adults and 1 dog. They were very crowded and tables were close together but that allowed for good conversation with our neighbors. Beer list was long, cocktails were creative, and wine was plentiful. There was a list of specials along with the regular menu of apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees. Happy to see vegetarian options. We had the mussels appetizer (be sure to specify marinara or white wine). Mussels were a good size for this not being an "-er" month. Note: marinara version had cheese sprinkled. Husband went for ribs and fries; I had fried fish sandwich and onion rings. Ribs were good - meat didn't fall off the bone, but had a good flavor. Fish was flaky, onion rings were excellent. Overall, great ambience and servers, good food. We'll be back to try more!

Although it wasn't the first time we'd stopped at Patriot's Crossing when in the area on a Sunday, our most recent visit found the food disappointing. Hummus isn't an item I order out unless it is homemade. I was in the mood for something light, not meat, without cheese, and not fried, so hummus and salads were they apparent options. The hummus was touted as homemade, with homemade naan, and accompanied by some raw vegetables. Perfect option for the occasion. Unfortunately, there's more to hummus than tossing a can of chick peas in a blender with salt, dumping them in a soup bowl, pouring a little oil on the top, and stabbing the edges of the concoction with stiff, crisp, wedges of tandoori bread. (Yes, you did read stiff and crisp. Slightly stale should probably be added to that description.) The plate arrived, sans the vegetables, which the server apparently forgot to serve with them. This was remedied, but the vegetables - spongy sliced cucumber, woody carrot sticks (some inedible), and celery - were unappetizing and tasteless. Husband's cheese steak didn't impress me either, but he said he enjoyed it. The servers were friendly, but service seemed a little lackadaisical. The location is nice, particularly the outdoor patio. Warrior Watch members on motorcycles were passing through the area via the bridge, so it wasn't quite the relaxing repast we envisioned. LOL. Dear Patriot's Crossing folks - please pay more attention to what you are serving. You can do better.

Our front door faces the street that intersects with our address. We are on a corner so the garage is on one side and the front door is on the other. My directions are extremely clear and no NO NO driver ever reads them. (I've watched Delivery people wander up and down the pathways in the complex here in bitter cold weather rather than directions it might offer clue to where they're going.) The driver here certainly didn't ....he left my bag in somebody else's driveway at night and of course, those people thought it was some kind of garbage and threw it in the trash I took a flyer and called Jersey Mike's and got this amazing superhero on the phone named John who seemed more upset than me and extremely willing to refund my entire meal, which was more than I had hoped for and so now on top of loving their sandwiches, I also love Jersey Mike's at this location and most of all, I love John Thank you, John !

I stopped by my local Jersey Mike's this week -- which is something I do regularly. I ordered a viral sandwich that turned out a little messy, but that wasn't the issue. The same person who made my sandwich also rang me up -- without changing his gloves. He touched the register screen, bags, counters, and who knows what else, all with the same gloves he used to make my food. Then he went right back to preparing sandwiches... still no glove change. So I calmly walked over to the manager, who had already seemed pretty dismissive when I walked in. I could tell that he wasn't interested in any niceties with me, since he was saving them for the non-minority make that walked in after me. I said, "You may want to let him know that he needs to change his gloves." The manager asked, "Why?" I explained, "Because he made my sandwich, checked me out, touched the screen, and then went back to making sandwiches." His response? "Did he touch cash?" I replied, "Why does that matter? He's spreading germs." But it was clear he didn't care -- not one bit. That will be my last visit to that location. Period.

My head is spinning. I will be back to follow up on this one. Ok I left that so that you could see what my initial problem was, but I am extremely impressed with a quick response from Ricardo, who I believe is one of the owners and the help I got from the restaurant itself. And yes, I found several people that spoke English. And I'm so happy to be able to update this because the food is out of this world. But they did tell me that I have to order through DoorDash that I can't order for delivery through them so just note that And definitely stop by because this food is so outstanding that I don't believe there's any other Mexican restaurant that can touch this I lived in Arizona for five years and I found out what real Mexican food taste like and all the wonderful fresh ingredients they use like the American version of Chinese food. The American version of Mexican can be way way off and that's a shame because Mexican food is so healthy and so fresh when it's made by the right people that you can eat healthy and be extremely happy at the same time.

They're always cleaning the ice cream machine too. Can't a girl get a McFlurry? And I was laughed at and told they don't have the Strawberry Sundae as they "stopped making that in the 90s". Which is false. My brother worked here when he was 15, I've definitely had them in 2000. And if they stopped making them, take it off the website. Pretty sure the sauce is the same used to make the Strawberry Milkshake. But what grinds my gears is getting the incorrect order. I'd say 7 out of 10 times it's wrong. For example, today I ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddle. What I received was a Sausage McGriddle. I'm not sure why it's on the menu. Slap a piece of cheese on it and make it edible. So before you walk out with your to-go bag and drive off, check to make sure you have what you ordered.

Despite having virtually no customers, the staff moved at a snail's pace. Standard breakfast items weren't even ready, which was surprising for that time of the morning. When I politely asked why the food wasn't available, the employee responded with a snippy attitude instead of offering an explanation or apology. The most frustrating part was seeing employees standing around talking while customers were waiting. If there had been a rush, I would have understood, but the restaurant was nearly empty. At 7:00 a.m., a McDonald's should be prepared to serve breakfast quickly. Unfortunately, this visit was slow, unprofessional, and far below what I'd expect from a fast-food restaurant.
