Came back to Its Sushi for a second time, this time with another couple, so naturally we ordered A LOT more. We went with Course C, and it was definitely the way to go if you want to try a little bit of everything. We had a great variety of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, carpaccio, baked green mussels, gyoza, mini udon, and some delicious specialty items. Everything looked fresh and came out nicely presented. The baked green mussels, salmon, yellowtail, mackerel, and carpaccio were some of my favorites this round. And of course, we had to finish with the ube and lychee desserts. The AYCE setup makes it fun when you're with a group because everyone can order different things and share. Second visit was just as enjoyable as the first, and bringing another couple definitely made it even more fun!
Had a great time eating at this sushi venue with my partner on a Saturday around 12 noon. We were sat immediately. It's a medium sized restaurant with parking in front and nearby. It's a modern atmosphere with natural light entering the space with dim lighting above. Service was quick and easy since it's AYCE. Beware as they have a waste fee for any extra food that you don't finish. Everything we ordered was sooooo good. They also have ice cream at the end! Awesome experience!
Finally tried out Its Sushi! We went on a Friday night around 6:30 pm and waited about 10 minutes. We chose the course B all you can eat ($42 pp). The menu is pretty expansive, and there is a good variety of raw and cooked items. You can order up to 4 types of nigiri at one time, but you are not limited to how many orders of each you get. At times, they were a little slow in bringing out the food, but maybe we should have ordered more at a time lol. I liked their salmon nigiri more than the tuna. My favorites were the paprika salmon, the mayo scallop, and the yuzu yellowtail. The slices of fish are very thin, but the ratio of fish/rice is good. The bulgogi had a lot of fat and gristle and could have been skipped. It also comes with one dessert per person. I got the lychee sherbert which was a refreshing way to end the meal.
I am a big fan of the It's Sushi location in Roseville that when I heard that a location opened at Delta Shores-I had to head out there. Its Sushi is located at the Delta Shores shopping center right next to Regal Cinemas-so needless to say, parking is ample. I got there early, about 25 minutes before they opened and there was about another 15 minute wait for a table once they opened. Once I got my table for 1, I was immediately greeted by my server Aaron and he could not have been more great. I playfully informed him that I was there to fulfill a challenge I had made on social media that I would eat 75 pieces of sushi on this visit and my plan was going to begin by ordering every single nigiri option on the menu. Aaron was game and he barely even asked what I wanted until I had tried every nigiri on the menu-Aaron is the best. It's Sushi offers three different dining options in their AYCE menu Option A $34.95 Option B $41.95 Option C $49.95 Option A is mostly the basics plus rolls Option B is everything in Option A plus some Nigiri options Option C is everything in A & B plus some specialty dishes featuring fancier cooking methods and more expensive fish. I always choose Option B The new restaurant has a really nice ambience, you can feel the happy chatter and business from the customers which strikes a nice balance of busy without feeling overcrowded. The servers don't seem to be too overwhelmed with their customers as I never had to wait more than a few minutes between finishing an order and receiving a fresh batch of sushi. This is important because when you eat at this restaurant you only get a 90 minute dining window. Some of the highlights of my wild dining experience. - Sea Steak Salad -Crispy Rice -Mayo Scallop -Super White Tuna -Salmon Belly -Albacore Delight Roll -Salmon Lover Roll -Washington Roll At the end of this marathon dining session, Aaron was nice enough to ask if I wanted dessert, so I went with the chocolate mochi option-it was the perfect topper. In closing, I have always been a fan of this restaurant family and I continue being a fan after this dining experience-I really love the friendliness of the staff, the swiftness of the service and the freshness and quality of the fish. I highly recommend the It's Sushi franchise and can say the location at Delta Shores does nothing but enhance the franchise's reputation. If you're looking for AYCE sushi with a huge variety and perfect for groups, Its Sushi is the spot! My group and I came here around 6pm on a Saturday and we were seated immediately but I also noticed that it can get popular at this location on weekends so be sure to call ahead and plan accordingly. We opted for Menu C which includes everything on the menu for the price of ~$50/person. Personally, I think that's a good price considering the items you get such as carpaccios, takowasa, galbi, and more! Some of my personal favorite menu items were the takowasa, salmon belly, shiro salmon, and crispy rice. The fish to rice ratio is really good and you definitely get your money's worth eating here. The service is also great and attentive! I would definitely come back here if I was in the area again!
We enjoyed the sushi here. We chose the all-you-can-eat option. Our toddler is less than 3 years old, and he got to eat for free, which we are very grateful for. We chose course B, AYCE, so that we could enjoy the nigiri. Their rice portion is small, and we were able to enjoy all their fresh raw seafood !! They're really fresh and not fishy, which really impressed us. And our son was able to enjoy their fried rice, unagi rolls, and baked salmon rolls. The service here is well-trained and with good manners. Also, they have a booster seat for our toddler, which is a plus. The tables are clean for dining in. The plaza has lots of parking. We will definitely come back.
Had a great experience at Its Sushi in Delta Shores! The sushi tasted fresh, delicious, and there was a really good variety to choose from. Everything came out quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. One of the best AYCE spots in Sac definitely worth it, especially if you come hungry. Great spot overall will be coming back!
Ordered course B for two people and our experience was average. The best thing about this place is the fish to rice ratio on the Nigiri. I especially love the salmon truffle tartare. Other than that, I cannot find anything else spectacular about this place. The interior is very nice and new looking. The kitchen has an open concept so if you're seated at the right place, you can see what is going on. At the time I went there were many servers just talking with each other near the kitchen and we weren't checked up on regularly, we had to call over people to place more orders. I don't think I can justify the price for the food quality and service. I might come back here for a special event or somebody's birthday, but I don't see myself going out of my way to come back to this all you can eat experience when there are better at lower prices.
I truly had high expectations coming to this restaurant. Staff is very nice and helpful, and we loved our server! My issue is with the menu. I would much rather have a high cost per person (at ONE pricing), and just be able to order everything from the menu. It's very messy having the 3 tiered pricing. My group went with course B. So at $42/person, I really expected high quality sushi. Nigiri was just alright, oh and they told us at time of ordering you can only order 5 variety of nigiri at a time. There were 4 of us in the group. So, you really have to coordinate and figure out what you're ordering as a group because you're limited. I liked that they had a huge menu to choose from, that was exciting! Like I mentioned, the nigiri was just alright. Not the greatest quality of fish. The rolls were good, there were a lot to choose from so there's something for everyone. For dessert, we chose the ube taiyaki which was delicious. The dessert is a tinier portion than most AYCE sushi places I've been to. Not sure if I'd recommend this place. Sure the menu is huge, but for the price point and quality of fish, I wouldn't return.
Came for dinner Friday night to celebrate my friend's bday. We had a group of 11. Checked in around 6p they won't seat everyone until your party is all there. Seated around 6:20p so the wait wasn't too long. There's 3 options COURSE (A) EVERYTHING IN PINK $34.95pp, COURSE (B) EVERYTHING IN (A) + GREEN $41.95 pp & COURSE (C) EVERYTHING IN (A) & (B) + BLUE $49.95pp. We opted for C. Everything was good. Staff were friendly. Like how thin the slices are they don't give too much rice in their rolls or nigiri. We also ordered peach & strawberry soju. Both flavors were good. I tried their spicy scallop hand roll & it was ok. I wouldn't order option C next time. Plenty of parking.

It was busy but the wait wasn't bad. The menu was color coded. There's 3 options Course A everything in pink $34.95pp, Course B everything in A + green $41.95 pp & Course C everything in A + B + blue $49.95pp. We opted for C. The Individual prices of the sushi is pretty average. But I don't know if I could eat $50 worth of sushi plus other items on my own. The food was great as well as the service! But it was definitely too much food!
I went to their Roseville location last year and I absolutely LOVED IT. When I found out they opened one in Sacramento, I immediately hauled myself there. The value of It's Sushi is the best I've seen so far. The rice to fish ratio is PERFECTION (aka little rice and long slab of fish). The variety of choices is overwhelming at first but honestly, I know what I love, so ordering is no big deal. The new location is much larger than their original one. I loved how open it felt and how much sun came in through the windows! There's also plenty of parking in the plaza so there's no worries about that. Our server was very kind and took our orders like a champ. The service was a little on the slower end, but the restaurant had gotten packed, so I chalked it up to that. 100% would go again. My favorite sushi place in California!!!
Finally got around to trying this place. We each got the $40 option, pushed our selves to try the majority of the menu to get our moneys worth. I feel it would be a more enjoyable experience with at-least 4 people because it will leave you feeling disgusting trying to eat all the food without being able to take leftovers. My number one gripe was that the one or 2 of the rolls we ordered were actually incorrect vs the description. One was supposed to be a deep fried roll with some kind of torched fish on top... the rolls had some correct aspects of the descriptions but were not executed properly. The fried soft shell crab was delicious but it wasn't cleaned or something because at one point we were eating big unpleasant black globs. Overall I would come back with a large group

The evening service was phenomenal! My family and I came in to celebrate my brother's birthday, and the staff were so welcoming. Everyone moved with urgency and made sure to check on our table frequently. Our food came out just as advertised, and everything was delicious! Bobby was our waiter, and he did an excellent job! He even helped us decide which sushi rolls to order and gave us some great recommendations. We ended up loving his choices! He was attentive, friendly, and had such a great work ethic. He even gave us two mochi for free, which was so sweet of him! We had such a great experience and would definitely love to come back again with more family. Me and my girlfriends met for lunch and Aaron was our server. We informed him that we haven't seen each other in a while so we would be a minute and we're indecisive so we asked him to bring us his recommendations and that he did! Every plate was beautiful and delicious! His recommendations were on point! He didn't rush us and was very attentive! If you go eat there ask for him! I know we will. He was top notch! Very professional, attentive and knows his plates! The restaurant was clean, the ambience was spectacular and the staff were very polite and professional! My daughter wanted to go to this place for her Bday. They don't take reservations and I haven't been there. I was hoping for the best at 5PM. There were 6 of us. The place is in Delta Shores shopping complex which is huge. It has a lot of parking so finding a spot wasn't bad at all. I went inside and it's not a bad size place but not big for AYCE place. I told the hostess how many we had and she said it would be an hour wait. So I put our number in and they would texted you when ready. We told the rest of our party not to rush and we went shopping. As we were shopping and not even done with our first store we got the text that our table was ready. It had only been like 25 minutes. Wow. But the rest of the party wasn't here yet. We went back to the place and checked in. They really didn't say anything about our party and sat us down. We had half our group. We were right in the middle of the place. Our waiter came over and checked in and I told him we were waiting for the rest of the party. He was really great I wish I remembered his name. You only get 90 minutes here. They are strick on the time and the waiter knows the limit . the rest arrived and we started ordering. I should of kept track of how you ordered but my daughter was doing it all. I think we got 30 pieces of sushi at a time and up to 4 rolls at a time. The sushi quality was pretty good for AYCE place I was impressed. Our waiter was in charge of a lot of tables but he kept up for the most part. We had to wait a little and ask for refill of the drinks . The food kept coming and we were stuffed and the waiter said this was our last order so time was up. I couldn't even eat anymore. This place is totally worth it. I just can't come here and consume this much raw fish all the time. Even though I eat at a sushi place weekly. hehe Will be back again sometime in the future. This is my 2nd visit here. Went with 2nd tier menu that includes nigiri. We tried tuna, salmon, yellowtail, surf clam, spicy octopus, mayo scallop all so good. Very small ball of rice which is good. 2nd Tier Never had soft shell crab, had to look that up, deep fried blue crabs u eat the whole thing shell and all amazing. I was apprehensive at first. Expanded my palate with this one. Shrimp lollipops very good, kaki fry aka deep fried oysters ok. The teriyaki chicken wow. Fried rice sad. Everything was going well except for the rolls. The Bad Rolls Henry. X- Girlfriend. They came with COLD shrimp tempura. Apparently chefs prepped too much shrimp. Informed Marky our waitress and she said cooks make alot of shrimp, then they warm them up before they put in rolls. This was not happening she said she would inform kitchen. I should have asked for manager as the rolls where not very appetizing. Sometimes our waitress was missing in action. Water not filled, we wanted to order more she was cleaning tables. This spot is located right next to the movie theater. It's pretty cool inside - It is a bit dark, but they have neon lights. It's definitely going for that cool club vibe because they have the electronic music going too. It was my first time in and I came on my birthday. Definitely getting the all you can eat was a better deal than doing a la carte. We went with the course B because I wanted to get nigiri. I would say none of the rolls were impressive to me, but I did enjoy the preperation of the nigiri. Service was decent, depending on who was dropping off your order, you would get a lowdown on the which item was which. There were a few times we had to guess what it was we ordered. We had a couple of cooked things and those were just ok. Standouts were the smoked salmon, garlic salmon and tuna, salmon skin handroll, and the poke nachoes. I also really enjoyed all 3 of the dessrts we got, one was the lychee sherbet and the ube taiyaki. I liked the birthday dessert they gave us too. Wait time: the host said it would be 45 mins but we ended up receiving our text saying our table was ready within 20 mins! The hosts were attentive and greeted us! Our server was great! We did Option B and honestly it was worth it for their nigiri. The fish to rice ratio is quite impressive & I've never been to any other AYCE sushi spot that gives you this much fish! We tried 2 rolls and we were able to get them in half orders. We tried the red dragon and kiss of fire. We thought the rolls were just ok. Nothing too great so we decided to go back to just doing their nigiri. Appetizers: Stuffed jalapeno & stuffed shrimp were crispy and still warm when they came out. So tasty!! 10/10 Poke nachos 8/10. Not too much fish, a lot of cucumber and seaweed salad and the wonton chips that came with it were super crispy and good. Poke salad (tuna & salmon) were decent! 8/10 Salmon truffle tartare was good. Lots of rice and couldn't really taste the truffle 8/10 Spicy garlic edamame 10/10!! Soft shell crab 7/10. Yellowtail collar was good too! 7/10. Nigiri: all of their nigiri was Amazing!!! All the salmon choices were great. Our faves were the shiro salmon, xxx salmon, white tuna! 10/10!! Their dessert menu was great too we loved the mochi and the lychee sherbet! Must try! Overall, the restaurant was a nice ayce spot! Not too fancy but still on the nicer end for a cute date night or dining out with family/friends. Service was good for a restaurant that is quite new. Came here for mothers day. Our server was Aaron who was great! Super attentive and explained everything that we needed to know. Were waited in line rough 30 minutes prior to the resturant early and were probably like the 5th table that was seated. At first the service of the food was very slow. I didn't time it exactly but I think it took like 25-30 minutes for our first order of Nigiri to come out! We were able to get appetizers quicker but it was a minute to get what we were mainly therefore. But after a hour of the restaurant being open it felt like the service was speeding up. That being said everything tasted great and fresh! My surprisingly new favorite was the shrimp lollipops! It seems like a new menu item at this location. My favorite nigiri cut was the sake (salmon) and probably unagi. read more

This place is still pretty new, but it's already our favorite AYCE sushi spot. Plenty of parking by the cinemas. Busy nights usually have a wait, but they text you when your table's ready, so no need to stand around. We were quoted an hour and only waited 30 minutes. The vibe is modern with low lighting, though it does get packed. Our server, CC, was amazing. She was super fun, informative, and enthusiastic. We did the green tier AYCE and loved everything. Highly recommend the yellowtail collar, unagi nigiri, soft shell crab, bulgogi fries, lychee sherbet (had small bits), and Uber tayaki. All the nigiri overall did not disappoint. Also loved that there are sinks outside the individual unisex restrooms, making it easy to wash up without waiting for a bathroom. There's 3 Courses you can get. We chose Course B ($41.95 per person). This place is the best AYCE in the Sac area right now. Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 - Plenty of seating and decent sized tables Food 5/5! Some notable dishes were the bulgogi fries, soft shell crab, yellowtail collar, takoyaki, crispy shrimp lollipop, salmon nigiri, salmon belly. Amazing food with good value. I door dashed my order, and I ordered the baked Alaskan with no mayo , miso soup , and the veggie fried rice. The baked Alaskan was okay I guess I expected more I would probably try a different roll if I return, I did add some sriracha to give it more flavor ? the miso soup literally tasted like a bowl of water I'm going to assume it's pre-made and the water ratio was off , the fried rice had a good flavor on it but the portion was not worth $6 it was literally a scoop of rice for $6 . The food was fresh so that's a plus but I see some of the items are hit or miss , maybe dining in provides a better experience than ordering it to go. read more
I was excited that It's Sushi opened a location closer to Elk Grove, so we decided to visit on Mother's Day. We arrived around 12:15 p.m. but weren't seated until nearly 2:00 p.m. I expected a longer wait because of the holiday, but it was confusing to see around 10 empty tables when we arrived and still about the same number while we were waiting to be seated. The restaurant itself is very spacious, comparable in size to Pier 50 in Arden, and the lighting inside is excellent. Our server was decent, though it seemed like he wasn't fully paying attention while taking our order since we received an item we hadn't requested. On the positive side, the food came out fairly quickly, and the quality was consistent with the Roseville location. One downside was the poor cell reception in the area -- offering Wi-Fi would definitely improve the experience. Also, the Fukumi Group has brought back their passport promotion and added three new locations. Guests who collect stamps from all nine participating locations can earn a $150 gift card. They also have a promotion where you receive a $50 bonus gift card when purchasing a $200 gift card. Definitely a great deal! read more
This location is huge and when we arrived there was barely any waiting for our party of 6. Service was as fast as it should be with individually hand made sushi. I appreciate how the nigiri (rice ball) is minimal so I don't get filled up on eating so much rice and can appreciate the various seafoods. The baked mussels are also delicious for those who don't like sashimi. The large room is nicely modern and I appreciate its cleanliness. Free parking. I'll be back. read more

Went on a Thursday evening and it took over 40 minutes for a table. Front desk told us 15 minutes and then proceeded to laugh and say it'll take another 15 minutes about couple times. The food was a hit or miss. I got the yuzu yellowtail and was disappointed, the fish didn't taste fresh. The best few I had was the spicy octopus nigiri and the super white tuna nigiri. The rolls were all basically California rolls with different toppings. All really dry with hella rice. Just stick to the nigiri and the hand rolls. One of us got a fried roll but it was mainly tempura batter and rice with a California roll inside, no sauce. Dessert was disappointing, they took our orders then told us 15 minutes later they ran out of more than half the dessert menu. For the price, the service needs to be faster. They kept taking our order when our previous two orders hadn't even arrived yet. You're better off going to Pier 50 in Arden! SIDE NOTE: the bathroom are gender neutral! I'm so excited that we have a great sushi place at Delta Shores now. This potentially can get me in trouble since I live less than 10 minutes away. Located next to the theater and across from Tastea, there's plenty of parking in the surrounding areas. We came on a Friday at 5 PM and had about a 20 minute wait for a table of 3. The restaurant is pretty large, plenty of seating for groups of 4 or less. Not sure if it's great for bigger parties. The place can get pretty loud but despite being super busy, service was consistent during our visit. You can order à la carte to go or dine in. They're known for their AYCE but you can pay à la carte as well. For AYCE, there is a fee if you're unable to finish your food and there's a 90 minute time limit. There's a suggestion to order a little at a time but the only problem when it's busy (and if you order rolls), the orders get pretty backed up. I lost track of how many rolls I ordered since it took a while to get our food. Our waiter suggested we order another round while we waited and I was starving so I made the mistake of over ordering (the rice really fills you up). I am definitely coming back again and making sure I have a better ordering strategy (order all the nigiri first, then rolls and other plates is my recommendation). Pros: staff were friendly and we were able to get service consistently while waiting in between orders. Our waiter was very patient in answering my questions, even when I asked him 3 times to confirm how many rolls I ordered. The rolls are huge so I definitely don't recommend ordering too many rolls at a time if you have a small party. If you really want to get your money's worth, order the soft shell crab or any of the grilled fish Honestly, you get your money's worth ordering the nigiri in my opinion. Fish is fresh and overall, I enjoyed the rolls we ordered. I was way too stuffed because it just was too much rice Cons: since orders took awhile to fill, it's easy to lose track of how much you order. read more
