Nice and friendly, but they don't have the correct tire machine for high quality aftermarket wheels. I found this out after they damaged my rim while trying to dismount the tire and tried to tell me I didn't have my valve stem cap when I arrived. I told them that I did and they tried to argue that it didn't, and what do you know the valve stem cap was right on their machine. I wish they would've told me they couldn't work on my wheels instead of wasting my time and money. Good prices for tires, but watch out they will damage your rims. read more

Great tires, super friendly staff too. I had gotten a flat tire on a Sunday while I was on my way to work, and it was around 3 pm. Almost every single tire shop in the area was closed since it was a weekend evening. I was a little frantic at first but fortunately my hubby found this place on yelp, and they were open. I went straight there since when I called they said they don't do appointments, and to my surprise, they were extremely quick as well as affordable. They looked at the tire, and while the damage was not fixable, the kind man who helped me checked his inventory and told me he had that size tire in stock. I was amazed by the cheap price, considering the tire he sold me still had tons of life left in it and looked brand new. After about 10 minutes, he had it installed and had me on my way. Truly amazing customer service and really genuine people. I believe it is owned and run by 2 brothers. Don't let the location/appearance of this spot scare you away, you will truly not find better customer service or prices anywhere else. I would much rather support an honest local business and family than some big corporate facility who only cares about profits and upcharges for their product. I do a lot of driving so I needed my front two tires replaced ASAP! I called J&J tires and not only did they have my front two in stock but it was half the price I paid when I had my back two replaced! They were so fast and very very very helpful and nice! These guys are awesome! I shopped around all day and these guys had the best deal on tires! I went in to look at the tires and they had more tread then the other places too! They had a lot of selection brand new and used. I arrived there 5 mins before closing and they had no problem staying late to get my new tires on! They're now on and I love them! J & J Tires are definitely 5 stars in my book! I went there Thursday afternoon to evaluate my options for repairing a slow leaking tire. I was denied a patch by Discount Tire and told I needed a whole new set of 4, which would have cost me $450.00! Not worth the expense for my 1989 Jeep with almost 200,000 miles. I heard about J and J Tires through a friend of mine so I went expecting just to get one used tire to replace the leaky one. I called several shops along Lake City Way and Aurora Ave looking for used run-flat tires. Other shops had better prices. I visited two other shops and they didn't even know what a run-flat tire was. I wasted my time driving around. J&J Tires had the run-flat tires in the size I needed. They explained to me that run-flat tires have a "star" and "RSC" marking. We were in Everett when we discovered a nail in our tire. We went to one place (Firestone) who said they could fix the tire, but it was a 5-6 hour wait. Went to another place (Walmart) who said the nail was in such a place that the tire needed to be replaced (we knew that wasn't the case). Finally found J&J. I woke up to a flat, called about 15 places from Everett-Seattle willing to pay way too much for a used tire just so I can be back on wheels with so much going on this holiday!! I want to start by saying that the employees here are friendly and they do have good prices. I have been there for tires 3 times now but I was disappointed on my last trip. I was having a tire replaced because it was slowly leaking out and could not be serviced, after having it replaced I drove home to Renton and the next morning the new tire was flat, I aired it up to get to work and it went flat again by morning so I took it to Les Schwab to have it checked and they found a crack on the inside lip of the wheel that was very clear to the naked eye so they either missed it while mouting the new tire or saw it and didn't say anything. Either way I'm not happy with this, if it had been pointed out I would have gladly still bought the tire and driven home on my spare and dealt with the wheel that day but instead I drove with the cracked wheel for 2 days and potentially damaged the new tire (as of now I haven't purchased a new wheel so I do not know the condition of the inside of the tire). read more

Got tires with 80% tread, the same ones they quoted me over 500 new at les schwab. Its been 20 minutes and he's almost done. Super sweet guy, he told me all the tires they were getting in this week too so I could come back if I wanted different ones, but I went with the les schwab tires because I always had luck with their new ones. Me and my husband came here based on their 5 star reviews and they truly do deserve it! We only needed 2 front tires since they were really getting bald lol so came in around 1pm last Friday and asked if they had 2 tires available, a nice gentleman said they didn't have 2 of the same kind and asked us if we would like to purchase a whole set for $200? we thought what a damn great deal but told him we only need the 2 front ones and were on a certain budget and he kindly offered to sell us 2 tires for $110 total, we were outta there with the gently used tires with about 85% tread by 1:30pm!
