bubba skillet
Maddy M.

super delicious place! food tasted super fresh and really satisfied our brunch craving! we had the route 66 (corn beef hash) and the bubba skillet (biscuits and gravy with eggs and rice potatoes). everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well! portions were also great for the price! you definitely won't leave here hungry! the staff was also super friendly and welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of! give this place a shot when in the area :)

Eggs Benedict and Route 66, both crispy as requested!

We stopped here on a road trip and had a delicious, fresh breakfast. We even ordered breakfast for our dog - she was thrilled to get an entire meal instead of a few leftovers. They give a 50% discount to active military every day, and also to veterans on the 11th of each month. WOW!! That's fifty percent, NOT a typo!! I had the Route 66 skillet and the hubs had the eggs Benedict. Misty had the Bulldog. The service was great - friendly and efficient. I was surprised it was so empty on a Monday at 8 - maybe everyone in that area works?!

Bubba Plate

I am sorry to leave this review, but I do so to prevent anyone else from wasting money. We should have known as soon as we opened the front door. My fiancé and I wanted to have a "home town experience" so we gave it a chance. The menu options looked great and maybe we did just order the wrong items. I ordered The Bubba plate (sausage gravy, biscuit, cheesy grits, and eggs). The "gravy" was certainly NOT sausage gravy nor was it house made. It was disgusting. They somehow managed to ruin cheesy grits. The scrambled eggs were ok. My fiancé ordered the same plate with potatoes. His potatoes were so dark and over fried. First and last visit for us

Cajun Scramble with potatoes and buttery biscuit

so gave them another chance and let's just say completely night and day since the 1st time! I tried a Cajun Scramble and everything was perfect and the potatoes seasoned perfectly and not cooked in old grease! Will return again soon

I order from here using Uber eats. It is consistently good. I like the bubba plate and a cinnamon roll or some fruit.

We all loved the Giddy Up Espresso Martinis, which were topped with adorable soccer ball design in celebration of the World Cup. We also enjoyed the Serrano & Jalapeño Bloody Mary (definitely brings the heat!), along with the Two to Mango Margarita and the returning Endless Summer Margarita, each had their own place and none disappointed! For brunch, I ordered the Southwest Breakfast Bowl. It was fresh, colorful, and packed with vegetables, making it feel nourishing without being heavy. The flavors worked well together, especially the combination of eggs, veggies, and southwest-inspired seasonings. My only suggestion would be adding a starch element, such as crispy breakfast potatoes or roasted sweet potatoes, to provide a little more texture and make the bowl feel more balanced and substantial. Even so, it was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. Our team was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the food and drink menu, making the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a great spot for brunch with friends, especially if you're looking for creative cocktails, a lively atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. I'll definitely be back for another round of drinks and for sure that Endless Summer Margarita.

We were greeted right away by the owner and seated in a comfortable booth in the back. The space offers a nice mix of tables, booths, and bar seating. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the start. After we ordered, she brought out a basket of biscuits, three for the two of us, which was a bit curious, but no complaints here. The second basket came soon after the first. They were light, slightly sweet, and really good. For my entrée, I went with the Louisiana Bayou Shrimp with Crawfish with a side of corn. Wow, great flavor with just the right amount of kick, and they didn't skimp on the shrimp or crawfish. Portion size was spot on. My wife kept it a bit more traditional with the Southern Fried Chicken Salad, which was fresh and very well done. Safe to say, we won't wait another 30 years to come back. I've already got my eye on the blueberry cobbler next time. If you live in Franklin, don't make the same mistake we did, give this place a try sooner rather than later. Cheers!

We started off with the Mini Donuts with dipping sauces, and they were a huge hit! Unfortunately, I was off my game and forgot to take pictures of some of the appetizers before they disappeared. We also ordered the Spinach Dip with chips, and a definite must have, the Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon. Wow... those were sooo good! For the entrees, I went with the Eggs Benedict with home fries, and it was perfection. Others at the table ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, great comfort food with amazing flavor. The fries are the thin-cut style, which makes them extra good. The granddaughters split a hamburger and absolutely loved it. The service is always great here, but this visit had a special touch. The granddaughters wanted a carrot to feed to their stuffed bunny, and the waitress actually brought one out for them! Little things like that make a big impression. Overall, a great brunch, great service, and a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Comes with jalapeno hot sauce - don't be shy, it's more slightly tangy than spicy and it perfects the delicious deviled eggs. Appreciate that they're generous with the glazed bacon. Wife loves the little gem salad. It's a bit light for dinner; she cleans her plate. Special of fish and chips - sounded wonderful, but they were out of the fish shortly after 5:30pm - what? It must have been a carry over from the previous evening is all I can imagine. Anyway, if it's on the daily specials, order as soon as you see it! Loud, bustling, it's a popular place, be sure to reserve ahead (of sit at the beautiful bar, that works for a lot of folks as well).

This is a true Irish pub that pours a proper pint of Guinness and a smooth Smithwick's, along with a solid lineup of other beers. If you know, you know and they know how to pour it right. For an appetizer, I kicked things off with 10 "Almost Famous" Wings. Let me just say this clearly: the Nash-Hot wings are the BEST in Franklin. Crispy, flavorful, and bringing just enough heat to remind you that you're alive without requiring a fire extinguisher. For lunch, I went with a classic Irish go-to, the Fish & Chips. The fish had a light, crispy batter and was cooked just right. Flaky, tender, and not greasy. Exactly what you want. My wife ordered the Quinn's Classic Reuben, and it was stacked, melty, and equally impressive. The service is always top notch. We went early and snagged seats at the bar to kick things off with cocktails, which turned out to be a great move. The bar staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel welcoming right away. I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye--excellent. Smooth, well-balanced. In the summer months, the outdoor seating is a great option too. Once seated at our table, we dove into appetizers. There were four of us, so sharing was the name of the game. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was a standout--warm, aromatic, and downright addictive. We also ordered the Italian Meatballs (two per order), so naturally we got two orders. Big flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth it. Add in the Wild Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari--both cooked just right--and we were off to a strong start. For my entrée, I went with the Ricotta Cavatelli. It was rich and comforting with just a subtle hint of lemon. I usually lean toward spicy dishes, so this was a departure for me, but as a crab lover, I really enjoyed it. That said, if you're looking for heat, this isn't the dish for you. We also had the Sunday Night Lasagna...on a Wednesday. Rules are meant to be broken. It was hearty, flavorful, and absolutely delivered. Dessert was a must--and North Italia did not disappoint. The Tiramisu is non-negotiable. The Salted Caramel Budino was so good. The Hazelnut Torta? Fantastic. And the Salted Caramel Gelato--just get it. Trust me. Last but definitely not least, our server Matt was amazing. Great personality, attentive without hovering, and really added to an already excellent experience. North Italia delivers great food, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. A place I'd happily return to again and again.

The food itself - was okay. We had the Shrimp Scampi and Beef Carpaccio which was good. Arugula and Avocado salad was nice. We had the Ricotta Cavatelli dish with shrimp and crab, it was tasty. Drink wise, had the Neapolitan. Love dirty martinis and thought it would be similar - nope, it was okay. All in all, it was a decent meal but for the price it was just okay.
