It was quick and easy to make an appointment! He came on Saturday (before Labor Day weekend) and I had a full set up (garage opener, Tract, door, remote and keypad) installed by Thursday. I appreciated his honesty in saving me a few hundred dollars by telling me I didn't need the garage door insulated because my garage wasn't insulated! I would have never known that. So easy to set up the appointment, mostly done by text. I wanted a wall mount garage door opener but I didn't have enough space on the side. Once again I can not express my EXTREME gratitude and HIGHEST recommendation for J-Lo Garage Door Services. So I was trying to reprogram my garage door for wifi. I did buy an exterior garage door opener key box. I accidentally wiped out all my codes. Well I set up a service call. Julian was nice enough to point out I was understandably out of my 30 day installation warranty but would help for a nominal fee of $25 for just gas. GREAT DEAL! But it gets better. I was able to FaceTime him off hours and he simply walked me through the process! Now everything works perfect. Even the key box. I was so grateful I wanted to Venmo him but he graciously declined. Can't say enough good things about Tony. Tony installed our new garage door and motor on 5/29/2020. This past Saturday 5/7/2022, one of the springs broke. I called Tony to ask for repair. I had lost my original receipt, had no idea if I was still under warranty. I figured, I'd just pay the charge. This happened at 5 pm on a Saturday. Upon speaking to Tony, he said he could come by in half an hour. He did arrive 30 minutes later (which is amazing in itself based on my past experience with repair people). Tony also told us he was able to locate our invoice and that we were still under warranty! He replaced our springs, installed thicker ones and didn't charge us a dime! Our garage door spring broke unexpectedly so we went on yelp to get price quotes. Some businesses made it difficult by asking me if I wanted to make an appointment to get a "FREE ESTIMATE". Give me a break! You know damn well how much garage door springs cost, and you also know exactly what your hourly rate is. So don't yank my chain with that FREE ESTIMATE B.S.! I find it beyond irritating when companies do that because it's obviously an opportunity for them to size you up. "Oh...you live in a gated community?" Cha-ching! "Oh you have a nice house in Orange County?!" Cha Ching! Etc.. Tony at J-Lo garage door services didn't run me around like those other businesses. He responded promptly, gave a competitive quote, and didn't try to make me jump through hoops to make additional unnecessary appointments.
