Said you have infected tooth. Which I knew. Then another dentist Dr. Suarez comes in to tells I don't have infection and it's just my bite that he needs to fix. When I tried to ask questions because I was confused he makes me made me feel like a total idiot because I didn't understand what he's saying. I had already let them know that I had a hearing disability on my right ear and I don't hear out of it and that I was also afraid of coming to the dentist. So when He is standing on my right side. Telling me I don't have infections and he only wants to fix my bite. When I asked for more clarity, he said I've already explained that to you and a very harsh and condescending tone. What kind of Dentist makes somebody feel so uncomfortable who's already afraid of the dentist let them know when I got here. And has hearing disabilities.

She adjusted some spots and my discomfort went away. Saved me a lot of money and avoided doing root canal unnecessarily. Only down side is there's a young lady at the front desk who was so adamant about their website "never have a problem before" when she told me I didn't fill out the online new patient forms. I told her I filled out whatever the website asked me to. She kept arguing with me that I didn't do it. Then a different lady told her that the website asked for basic information only. This B literally argued with me and kept saying "our website never had a problem" when I asked her to check her website.... Anyways, she could've just asked me nicely to fill out the form. She eventually did and I nicely filled it out. Easy as that. Like she needed to win the damn argument for some reason. EVERYONE else was super nice. Just not that one young lady at the front desk.

They said I now owe $425 because "your insurance only covers 80%" and that I would have to pay the rest. Since when is the rest half??? I told them no, I'm not paying so she put me down as refusing the services and left. It was clear the area wasn't properly numb, yet the procedure continued. He then stopped midway and said wisdom tooth roots were too deep and I needed a surgeon, something that should have been determined before starting. Because of this failed attempt, I was left with severe nerve sensitivity and constant pain for nearly two weeks while waiting for a specialist. I did not have pain before my visit. This situation could be avoidable. The unnecessary procedure directly caused significant pain and reflects poor judgment and lack of patient care.

They monitored the situation for about a year (we went in about 6 months after our first appointment to check) before Dr. Kim extracted the extra tooth. It was a monster tooth, but Dr. Kim was so gentle with my 6 year old. He is a wizard with the numbing needle- my son didn't even know what was happening until Dr. Kim was done numbing his mouth because he didn't feel a thing! That tooth was huge, so it took a few pulls, but Dr. Kim was encouraging and calming him during the whole process. Recovery was a charm, as well- I feel like that was due to just the efficiency and minimal invasiveness of the whole procedure.
