However, the prices are higher compared to other stores in Chinatown ranging from $1-$3. Gotta pay up for convenience! However, there's a small discount for cash payment. Kelly's Korner is a super nice store. Well stocked with a variety of items and fresh meats and vegetables. Everyone is quite friendly. This has become a go-to place as they do have everything and having free parking right in front in Chinatown is key.

Parking is available by the road and also in the structure. This could possibly be a new one-stop shop for when I need to replenish ingredients for my dessert soups.

I parked in the free parking lot for McCully Buffet and walked around the corner to the store. I didn't see any bentos... I just ordered a Big Breakfast with 2 of the 4 meats. I chose bacon and Portuguese sausage. I guess the eggs just come over easy and on a bed of white rice. I also ordered a tofu spinach salad. When I got home, I put the spinach in a bowl and uncovered the tofu. I dipped a spinach leaf into the sauce, which was too spicy for me. I'll take it to my mom's house later. I didn't see any menu for this shop. I believe that the picture menu refers to Choi's Garden. The phone number is on the poster. Catering is available. The shop looks a bit cluttered and not very organized. Toothpaste is next to canned goods, for example. The door is left open for fresh air. The owner/cashier/cook is an older Asian woman. She is a hard worker and didn't get flustered when another customer came in. I told her she can take care of the other person first - since she was waiting while my meal was being prepped. However, she rang us both up efficiently!

The owner is a petite older Asian lady who seems nice and does all the cooking. I ordered the famous Kal bi plate, its thick cut, was very tender and I would have wanted it a little more seasoned or marinated, but it was good. And expensive. The young owners are very pleasant and helpful and prices are good. Parking was easy in the afternoon and I Mike that it's in a quieter part of Chinatown.

LOCATION: Corner of Pensacola St and Davenport St. The entry is on Pensacola St. The mart is on the first floor. PARKING: Unfortunately there is no parking. Their garage is for residents only. However, there is street parking around the area. FOOD: So this convenience store sells liquor, beverages, cigarettes and a few convenience items. I usually come here for the snacks and food. Their Teri burger is made fresh and they use crinkle fries for their fries. I haven't tried the rest of their menu items but I've heard their Korea BBQ chicken is good too. SERVICE: Their menu items are made to order. They have a few premade bentos on the counter such as musubi, fried gyoza and bentos. The workers here are super nice. Always a pleasure stopping by here. I lived in the area for over 3 years and never knew this place existed. A construction worker working in the area suggested this place to me. Now I'm a regular!

Located on the canal side of the Cultural Plaza, the entrance to Fruisea Rolls & Tea is on the inside of the plaza, facing Sandy's Cafe. The clean, bright, cozy interior is cheerful because of the friendly workers! We ordered and paid at the counter. Our food and drinks were brought to us promptly. I got the Fresh Golden Lime Tea which was refreshing and tart from the lime slices. I also ordered the salmon, ume, and avocado maki sushi. All of them were yummy and reasonably priced! We were given a plate of complimentary curry fish balls... they were good! When we commented on the cute logo, the owner gave us each a kawaii takeout bag! Thank you! Thanks also for the hospitality! (We're were asked if we live nearby... not really... LOL!) We should return on another Sunday... they let us stay and chat for a couple of hours... and a table was moved so we could have more space! I don't believe I saw the yakisoba in the menu, but I seen it when I got to the window and the mochi ball and Andagi are very close to the counter window I highly recommend anyone who is in and around the area for a quick grab on a local favorite of a Japanese doughnut to come to this spot because the andagi- is much to appreciate it's one of these things that we know here in Hawaii to have that nice texture, The nice first crisp bite into the donut and then it leads into that delicious sweet cake doughnut part in the middle what we know as a Japanese donut, this carries its respected delightful reality... stop by this place because for $1.00 a piece... it's a crowd pleaser... I had free parking right in front, so, I just walked into the cozy, low-key, dimly lit, old-school type of restaurant. The door was open and I couldn't feel any air-conditioning. The nice lady at the counter took my order and said that my plushies were cute when I started photographing them... LOL! We sat at the counter along the right wall. My Chirashi Bowl was okay - not the best. The sushi rice was still warm. The lettuce had a bit of brown on the edges. The fish, tamago, unagi, and tobiko were fresh. I would stop by again because it's so convenient! Note: Remind the lady about the complimentary miso soup, shoyu packet, and wasabi packet... she almost forgot to give me these items... haha!
