    Grilled chicken wrap

This used to be the most expensive Irish pub on the row south of Empire State Building, but now it seems to be in line. Our lunch today was first rate. Shepherd's pie for me and grilled chicken wrap for her. The pie was a treat for the eye and palate with very generous portions of fine mashed potatoes. The best part was a lengthy talk with our server Leianne about all things Ireland and New York.

We came here on a weekday for a work lunch. I ordered the burger with fries. Overall, the burger was decent but not life changing. I didn't have high expectations with Irish pub food. However, they had plenty of seating and our food was ready quickly. Is this the best place in the area to eat? No. But it's not a bad option if you need a quick bite.

Great service late night after MSG show, friendly bartender who took care of entire bar. Also needed dinner, he recommended the chicken tacos, they were very generous portion, fresh grilled chicken. Also enjoyed Jameson & ginger ale & house amber ale. Thanks for a great post concert time

    GET SOMEONE WHO CAN COOK

Ive been a regular here for 9 years, the new owner did the right thing by having a late night menu, but made the mistake if keeping the chef. Ive had the pizza several times hoping they would figure it out but after this last time of sending it back to the kitchen 3 times it is obvious this chef's only skill is using the deep fryer. GET A BETTER CHEF OR TAKE PIZZA OFF THE MENU!

Great food! Great service! We stopped here before a Rangers game for dinner and had a fantastic meal! Ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Our meals were served quickly and waitstaff was friendly. This was easily the best meal we've had around the Garden. Can't wait to stop here again!

Stopped into this hidden little gem in midtown . Been around a long time . Great chicken curry and chips and an awesome pint of Guinness.

I absolutely love this place! Very nice waiters they even change the tv for us. High quality food. We enjoyed the NY pretzel, the chicken tenders and the Jack Demsey's Burger; all of them pretty good. Excellent ambience for watching a NY Yankees game.

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

We reserved for a quick bite at Redeye Grill before catching Dog Day Afternoon on Broadway, but as soon as we walked up, some bouncer told us they were closed for a private wedding reception. We were dazed and confused because how was I able to reserve online? But the real plot twist was that it ended up being the best thing that happened. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. They first sat us at a hi-top by the door, but that wasn't our vibe, so we grabbed seats at the bar instead. Best decision. Our bartender, Josiah, was absolutely killing it. My cocktail had passion fruit, so of course I asked my usual question: "But is it real passion fruit?" He just nodded in agreement and that told me everything I needed to know. That drink was legit and had nice strength. The food was great too. My fish tacos were packed with fresh fish, the guacamole and salsa were chunky and full of flavor and hubs enjoyed his pastrami sandwich. I have no clue when we'll be back in Midtown, but one thing's for sure- we're sitting with Josiah again.

The burger was juicy and filling, the wings were flavorful, and the fries were hot and crispy. The drinks were solid, refreshing, and exactly what you want at a spot like this. Location-wise, it's perfect. They had outdoor seating along 9th ave and 51st street. We sat inside at a hightop , along their big open windows of 9th; great in between of inside and outside. Plenty of options for a big or small group, or solo! Our server was McKenna, who was incredibly attentive, we never felt like we were waiting or had to wave anyone down. The food came quickly, and was great. Nothing that changed our lives, but hot, quick, and delicious. I can see this becoming a regular spot for when we can't decide on where to go and just want somewhere dependable and consistent. Inside is like a typical Irish pub: long bar, wood everywhere, comfy high tops and booth seating along the wall. Keep in mind that it is a sports bar with TVs everywhere, so they will be playing the major sport of the season. The volume isn't too loud though, enough to hear, but don't need to cover your ears. The bottomless option on the weekend is great, 2-3 drinks and you get your money's worth. The bloody's are good quality, with a good bite of Tabasco and horseradish (I prefer that!) and the mimosas are bubbly forward (they're not skimping you with mostly OJ). The food prices for brunch aren't crazy either. Selection is a bit limited, but seeing as this is a pub/tavern, I think they have a pretty good mix. Overall, would absolutely recommend.
