I had a really disappointing experience with the overnight crew at this Jack in the Box. The customer service was rude and unprofessional from the moment I pulled up. I understand that overnight shifts can be difficult, but that's never an excuse to treat customers disrespectfully. No one is forcing anyone to work there, and customers shouldn't be made to feel like they're an inconvenience for simply placing an order. A little kindness and basic respect go a long way. I hope management addresses this because better customer service would make a huge difference. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I didn't appreciate how I was treated. read more

The man working the drive thru window at midnight on August 2, 2025 is the reason why I hate coming to this Jack in the Box. I always come for quick, late night grubs and this man, without a doubt, has the most stank attitude known to man. Every. Single. Time. He starts you off with "what do you want" .. okay sure whatever. I continue my order, then asks "drink" and if you don't answer to him in .1 seconds, he gets annoyed by you. The whole ordering process is like this through and through making the entire interaction super uncomfortable. Once you arrive at the window, no eye contact, no greeting, just "your drinks" in a hostile tone and hands them over to you. Mans doesn't even give straws! To top it off, he's cursing in Spanish RIGHT AT THE WINDOW for guests to hear -- "oh my fu**ing god" "son of a b**tch" "motherfu****" (in English translation) just right in front of your face with no care in the world.. all while he's aggressively slamming your order around. I'm usually sympathetic and understanding when it comes to fast food workers because I used to be in their shoes at one point working late nights at McDonald's to provide for myself. However, this man's behavior is COMPLETELY unacceptable and unwarranted. I understand if you have some bad days/nights, we all have them... but he is like this ALLLL the time. I hate to be a Karen about things, but corporate will be hearing from me about this man. Has anyone notice how hot it is inside Jack in the Box? I have notice that they do not open their lobby until 8am. This Jack in the Box location can be hectic to go to in the afternoon with cars passing by. The drive thru can be very long. The Breakfast Jack is good for breakfast. The service was so slow. Maria, was so rude. All I asked was how long it would be for my order and she snapped at me at told me it takes time, then slammed the drive through window in my face. That was really not called for and when I asked what her name was, she gave me attitude. The other person working with her was also getting crap in the background, we could hear it from our car. This is a convenient fast food place when craving for some crunchy tacos at late hours. Service used to be good, but for the last two times i went there through the drive thru, the girl named Christi messed up my orders, never repeat my orders like how others do or if their screen works where you can see orders. Everytime i asked for 12 regular tacos, i end up getting 4 or 6 tacos, and she said i didnt ask for 12, i know what ive said and how many i wanted, maybe she needs to get her head set fix or learn her numbers, and REPEAT THE ORDERS BEFORE TELLING THE CUSTOMERS TOTAL. **I didn't realize I had not posted this. I found this in my pending posts. This happened at least 6 months ago. i have not been back to this location. there was a pill bottle on the floor in the kitchen area. I don't have the picture anymore that I can find.** I didn't get a whole picture of the kitchen, but I caught this. On this episode of Jack in the Box in Hercules...... We decided to go to Jack in the Box because just like everyone else I worked late and nobody wants to cook dinner. I ordered from the drive thru and per usual, I was asked to park out front and they would bring me my order. So I park. I ordered 3 meals. Which also means I have 3 drinks as well. One person walked my food out and dropped the munchie meal that was ordered. She had 3 bags and a drink holder along with the munchie meal. She went back in and magically 1 minute later came back out with a new box. She said she threw it away. She invited me to come inside to see it in the trash can. She assured me it was a new box and with new food. I wasn't going to go back inside but then I realized I didn't get my receipt. So I went inside. I'm going inside I waited and waited and then someone looked at me and then they continued working and then they looked at me again and then they stopped. I asked for the manager. And then I saw this pill bottle on the ground in the kitchen area and then I didn't get to take a picture of the rest of the kitchen area but there's everything everywhere, fries, paper towels, boxes all on the ground. Manager finally comes by and asks how he can help. I asked him why he would send one person out with that many items. Now you must be asking yourself why did they have me park? Now, if you have been to this Jack-in-the-Box even if you order one thing they make you reverse a little after you pay while in the drive thru. And if you've been to this Jack-in-the-Box you know that the fries and the tacos are always mediocre seem like they've been sitting there. I almost never go inside but to my surprise they make fries constantly to have on hand it also. There's tacos already made consistently before anybody even orders it. So those aren't made to order. So back to my conversation with the manager. I explained to him that it was unfair that she walked out with all of the food from my order and she drop some thing. How was I to believe that everything in my munchie meal box was replaced with fresh food? She walked out one minute later? Manager showed me the food in the trash can. The tacos and a half these fries were in there but not the sandwich. I asked where the sandwich was. The girl that fixed it admitted to the manager that she handed it to one of the cooks in the back. I didn't see the cook but then became very apparent that the sandwich was placed in a new box with new fries and new tacos. I also told the manager I didn't get a receipt and I was very upset. He asked me what I wanted I said I wanted a new sandwich he also offered me a refund. I explain to the manager that every single time I come to this location there is a problem. I asked him what was going on in his store. He said that he has been here for 10 years. I explained again that every time I come there something is always wrong. I pointed out the messy kitchen area and also pointed out the pill bottle on the ground. Everyone got quite and looked. I'm never going here again and I'm telling everyone how horrible this place it. Go to the Pinole one. I know the driveway is hard but they always have hot fries. read more

It's just like all the other Jack in the Box restaurants... it's ok. It's cheap and it fills you up. Nothing fancy. They have their craving deal after 9pm which is a good deal. The tacos are also a good deal. Sometimes the have a meal on special. There's parking, there's a drive-thru open 24 hours. I have to ask myself, if it sucks so bad, then why do I go here all the time. I guess because it's cheap and tasty... and I like to save a buck, so it's hard for me to bash it like a snob, because I do go here often. I think 4 stars is what it gets. Some of the staff here are really friendly, which brightens up my day. The dining room is clean and they have one of those custom soda machines where you can make a diet raspberry Coke or whatever flavor you crave. read more

Pulled in tonight/morning at 3am after a night of laughter and giggles. Since it was so late/early, I decided to stop and dine with Jack instead of Nations. Bad idea! The lights were all on, the sign clearly read 24 hours only to sit in front of the speaker for 2 minutes before a young sounding lady informed me "they will be closed for 20 minutes." I asked does that mean I can return at 3:20, she said "or sometime around 3:20". My suggestion to anyone wanting a late night snack, go elsewhere. Stopped by the drive thru on the way home from work Saturday, 5/25/21, about 11:30 pm. Sat for several minutes at the intercom and left after no one answered. In the meantime, several people were having a really intense argument in the parking lot. One guy brandished a machete threateningly at 2 other men.
