Drive thru cashier got the order right but I did have to remind her about my drink that she almost forgot. Food wasn't bad, but the sandwich wasn't as spicy as I'd like. Fries were hot and ok. One of the worst Jack in the Boxes. Very slow, and a lot of mistakes can usually be expected if you come here. It's worth the 15 minute drive to go to the Jack in the Box in Martinez, instead of this one. Drive-Thru is usually OK, but dining in is super slow and the food is never hot. read more

I've gone here a couple times in the early morning (2-3am) and for a place that's supposed to be open 24 hours you wouldn't know that sitting in the car at the drive through for 10-15 mins and not even getting a response. One thing to note is that this location has one of the slowest drive throughs ever. It's a little better than the Pinole location but still awfully just as bad. Their menu items are inconsistent, they don't serve shakes when you want them the most. Don't get me wrong I love fast-food like Jack in the Box but the service could be a whole lot better. Visited the location at 3800 San Pablo Ave Bldg A, Hercules, CA 94547 this morning to grab breakfast on the way to my office and ordered a supreme croissant sandwich. Once I got to my office and unwrapped it imagine my surprise when I saw a half eaten sandwich neatly wrapped and placed in my bag. Not only is this unacceptable behavior but is completely unsanitary and a piss poor reflection of the employees which thereby reflect on the corporation. To make matters worse trying to give feedback on their site only results in multiple crashes due to a poorly developed script and the inability to even leave any feedback at all. Trying to use the phone number provided on their corporate website is also absolutely useless. As a corporation they really need to take a step back and figure out how to improve not only your customer relations but the company profile as a whole. read more

Horrible customer service....had to drive back because my wife's sourdough jack was not given to us in the drive thru..mistakes happen right...so I drive back and I go inside looking to get my sourdough jack...I didn't need an excuse like I said accidents happen...but at the very least a simple apology by either the manager or drive thru attendant, at the very least....nothing, no apology....not cool, I kept my cool didn't raise my voice didn't make a scene (even though the place was empty) and believe me I can get very rude and unruly...so thank you...thank you for helping me to make the decision to never patron there again...I'm sorry that your customer service skills are causing patrons like myself to not come back....have a blessed day and may the lord be with you read more

By far the worst Jack in the Box that I have ever been to. I come here once in a while and every single time, I get the same girl that takes my order. She is rude and is always rushing her customers. Perhaps it is because she is working a night shift, but at least try to impress your customers. She get my orders wrong as well! I tried to handle this quietly and privately but you make it so difficult to actually speak with someone this is going to have to be a very public display. As when I am thru here I plan to go on google, yelp and any other venue I find to rate the experience that I had at one of your places of business. I visit your location in Hercules, Ca. Sometimes three times a day for caramel iced coffee, for YEARS! I went thru the drive thru last sat. Ordered my coffee and rolled around to pay. I have the girl a 20.00 bill as I had just come from the ATM, which only gives what? 20's! She handed me my coffee and then a dollar and some change. I said, man the price of coffee sure went up because I gave you a twenty. The girl smarted me off and said, no you didn't, you gave me a five. I said no honey, I gave you a twenty. She proceeded to argue with me. I showed her my bank receipt and the four twenties I had left and said, yes, I gave you a twenty. She turned to someone else and in a sarcastic tone says, she says she gave me a twenty but she didn't she gave me a five! So I said look at the tape or count the drawer, I'm not trying to cheat you after all I come in here probably twenty times a week or more! They were trying to get me away from the window, but that wasn't my problem. So even tho I was in a hurry they forced me to come inside. The girl says give me your receipt, which I did and she says it says right here you paid with a five, but I didn't. She put that in there, I paid with a twenty, count your drawer. Well it became heated. FINALLY they counted the drawer and guess what? They were over! She gave me my money but refused to give me back my receipt. So I can't take your stupid survey bc you need the number off the receipt. I want a call from someone to make this right. I will never go back to that place and depending n what you do I may never go back to Jack In the box ever. I almost want to give this location a one star. It's still sooooo slow. This time I did drive thru and even though there was only one car ahead of me, I had time to turn off my engine. I drop by this location once in awhile when I am too lazy to cook. This place is never busy, always almost empty. It has a drive thru. The times that I have been here, there's no one helping customers in the dining room and I would have to wait. Although it's slow, the service is not that great. You would think since it's slow, service should be fast but nope. Staff friendly for the most part. Food is okay. Since it's slow, some of the fodd does sit and I have gotten old/cold curly fries. So I usually don't write reviews. But seriously this place messed up my order twice in a day. Came in after work got a sourdough Jack to go. Takes a good 15 minutes for my order. Whatever I'll let it go. Get home, open my burger and.. There's no meat patty. Okay Great now what. Turns out I had to buy more food anyways for some friends so I decide to go back to get a replacement sourdough jack and buy food there for them so I can save a trip. Got my food, got home, and.. I am giving this a two because of the cleanliness of this place, meaning the lobby is dirty. I came in and I had to ask them to clean my table even though it was very slow and they had time to clean it.
