Stopped in for a late lunch. The restaurant was not busy, just some people here and there, mostly doing take out. The food is pretty much the same as any other Jack in the Box. Prices of food has gone up quite a bit since the new minimum wage increase. The biggest shock was the 5 mini churros for $3.59, however it was very tasty. They add up to about 1 Costco or Sam's Club churro. The new Smashed Jack Burger was underwhelming as it did not have much flavor and was way smaller than expected for the price ($8.59) for the burger by itself. The restaurant was very clean overall for a fast food restaurant. The best thing about this restaurant was the lady (Kaitlin, from the receipt) who took our order. She was very nice and was constantly on the move, either taking orders, delivering people's orders to them or clean/wiping the tables. I hope she will someday soon be promoted to assistant manager or manager as she is the kind of employee to keep around! The parking lot has 2 EV chargers (I don't believe they are free). This road to this restaurant is a little funky as it doesn't look like a road and is not paved well, so it's a little deceiving. It's more like an easement between the Speedway gas station and the Frazier Mountain Park Rd., so it's easy to miss.

Stopped here on our way north for some breakfast...It was breakfast time - BUT - Jack in the Box is the HOME of Fast Food Breakfast served all day Giselle was at the counter and assisted us. She was very friendly, and took our order. I had the sausage croissants, and my wife had some tacos. she asked for extra salsa for her tacos and got it - no charge. I went up to get a little more for her and they gave it to me. OH - AND they have the soda fountain that you can mix your own today drinks with Coca-Cola products. This time I had Diet Vanilla Ginger Ale - WOOHOO!! Food was good and hot, service was good, place was clean. I would definitely eat here again.

Worse food ever! Had tacos - greasy and the hamburger looked like dog food. The only good thing was the bottled water.

Didn't even get to order because of how slow the workers were. A bunch of others walked out including me.

Pls don't eat at this one unless you're desperate. I got food poisoning eating here. Couldn't even finish my food because it tasted off.

We've been through Frazier Park many times on the way to hikes, but I guess I had never ventured up any side roads to the actual 'downtown'. Upon entering, you think the place is small, but it keeps extending into a sizable dining room and there appears to be a back room that you can use for events. The staff was pleasant, the place was clean and organized, but there was almost zero ambience with only the slightest hint of a radio playing in the kitchen, but my friend said they closed at four on Sundays, so maybe it was the end of the day when we were there, but it was literally dead quiet. I could tell from the picture on the menu that they didn't make their own taco shells and were the pre-formed kind. All the food was hot and freshly made, and plated decently, but every bit of it was fairly bland and flavorless; definitely not traditional Mexican food.

She knows many by name and she also made a special button on her ordering POS machine for her loyal customers that have been eating here for years. That is a valid 5/5 star rating! The amount of proportionate food is over the top, you can literally share one meal itself. The guacamole is perfect and the chips and salsa are so delicious, it's hard to stop. The ambience has such a beautiful touch to the Hispanic culture as well as the architecture . Swing by

Fatboys Taco sits in what feels like a former gas stop area in Mojave, but it is its own thing, attached to a bar and far better than anything you would expect from a highway pit stop zone. Inside, there are bold murals on the walls that give the place real personality and make it feel intentional rather than accidental. I ordered two birria queso tacos and they were legit. Crispy, cheesy, rich, and gloriously messy in the way birria tacos are supposed to be. The kind of tacos that make you temporarily forget you still have hours of driving ahead of you. This is officially on my mental list of places worth pulling off the highway for. I will absolutely be back the next time I am coming home from Mammoth, even if I am not that hungry.

The place already had great reviews, so we figured we had to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The gentleman who took our order was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment we walked in. I also appreciated that they offer slightly lower pricing if you pay with cash. We all ended up ordering chilaquiles--one plate with green sauce and the other two with red sauce--and got our eggs over easy. Let me just say: these were hands down some of the best chilaquiles we've had in the area. The flavor, texture, and portion sizes were all top notch. I also loved that they have an open salsa bar along with complimentary chips for every order. Little touches like that really make the experience even better. There's also plenty of seating inside, and they have a restroom located in the back, which is always convenient when dining with kids. The ambiance is very casual and laid back, making it an easy and comfortable brunch spot. We'll absolutely be coming back again soon!
