You would think of Jack in the box restaurants would all be the same however I found that the Pinole Jack in the box is the best in the area..... I usually use the drive-thru , the service fast the employees are are very nice and their jumbo jacks are absolutely delicious!!! I don't know how they do it I've had them from other Jack in the boxes... And none of them compared to Pinole location... Consistently good & flavorful just like an old fashioned hamburger from a diner.... I used to like to go to this place when I was a kid...because I was stupid. They used to have a red box-shaped sign out front on a pole and Jack's head was popping out of it. Thus the name Jack in the Box. Then they changed the sign and replaced it with a boring ne without Jack's head popping out like a scary clown, and I was so pissed. Still haven't forgiven them. I used to go there during lunch when I was a teenager and I would find receipts on tables then I would walk up to the counter and say, "Did you call #213, I am still waiting for my order, I never got it." Then they would make it again. Or I would order tacos and then eat them and then go back up with the receipt and say "i never got my tacos." Or better yet, give the receipt to a friend and they can ask for it. The employees there are usually not too bright so you can sit there and eat ALL day long. lol Lame place, poisonous food. Do a paintball drive-thru and tag on the wall behind the building for a good time. But you know...i grew up, don't do that kind of stuff anymore. Food is worse than ever there. When I need my breakfast sandwich fix.. I go here. I like their food. I've always gotten the breakfast jack's, ultimate breakfast sandwich and supreme croissant sandwich. They're tasty to me and cheap. This particular one makes everything fresh because every time I get my food here it tastes like they just made it.. And you can definitely tell when something has been sitting around.. I'm addicted to the 99c taco's, thanks to my boy friend. (you must try them with ketchup) I also love the hash browns... The ice coffee sucks, I rolled through the drive through and ordered it, expecting it to be somewhat like McD's ice coffee. They couldn't or were unwilling to change the amount of cream and sweetener in the coffee. So what I got was milky sugary cream with a slight taste of coffee. The "medium" was like a Starbucks tall too, ever small and mostly ice. That's ok thought, because it was so bad I had to just throw it away after a couple of sips. Jack in the Box in general is pretty good. They have cheap prices, and I like their fastfood. But this location in particular is not so great. I went over here afterschool, only to find the inside filled with loud, obnoxious people. It was HOT, no A/C, and the sun was just blazing down. They need some blinds or something. Customer service was not even that good. They take your order in the most irritated manner. Food was good as usual, but we had to take it to go if we really wanted to enjoy it. Blah. I figured this feedback will find its way home somehow. GOOD: Good fast courteous service. Thus 2stars. UGLY: I ordered #7 cheesesteak melt combo and it was completely disappointing. Nothing at all as good as the picture made me drool. Yeah i know, I didn't expect for it to look just like the picture of course, but it didn't look like it AT ALL. When I unwrapped it, it looked like two pieces of toasted bread sealed together. Not exactly the thick stuffed steak, cheese and veggies I expected to see tempting me. Bread was over toasted...slightly burnt. Sauce was soggy dripping like salad dressing. There were white onions but the green and red diced peppers were almost nonexistent. Even worse, the meat was the worst part of it all. 3 bites out of 5 felt as though I was chewing on rubber bands. One of the closest Jack in the cracks near my house. Located in Pinole Valley. My first visit here was when I was in high school well over 15 years ago. When I would order bacon cheddar potato wedges and tacos. I still love both till this day. I love the way JB's menu evolves and there's always something new to try. The late night munchies meals is the best idea ever. This location is tricky to get to depending from what direction your coming from. There is a sharp u turn you must make. Other than that. I can never remember ever just having horrible service. Maybe slow at times but that comes with fast food. You never know what the person ahead of you ordered. read more

Waited more than 20 min for my food at the drive thru (total of three cars in front of me, nobody in the parking lot or eating in the restaurant - not as if it was packed). Then I get home and find that they've given me the wrong food. I did open the bag and look briefly, but short of pulling out the box the burger was in and doing a detailed examination while in line at the drive-through with people waiting behind me, there was no way to be sure. And of course what I get is both a lower-priced menu item AND one that I don't like. And it's a 10-mile round trip, so I'm not about to go back. So I call up to complain, and the person in charge says: "Yeah, well it's been pretty busy." So I guess it's OK to give me the wrong food if it's busy. Then she hangs up. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I always come here around 3 or 4am and there are times that I have to go home empty handed because they are CLOSED! Why is the open sign as well as the 24 hours sign still light up?? I usually only come here really late at night (11 PM-1 AM) when I'm having cravings, which is cool since many places aren't open. It's really just out of convenience that I come here. However, I find that the graveyard shift staff is negligent in comparison to the day shift staff. I actually thought the regular fries were pretty good, but the jumbo jack with cheese was real sad and the cheese seemed fake. This jack was a favorite location of mine for myself and my family to go through from time to time, even drove through several cities to go to this location. Food has mostly been fresh so I appreciated that. I go here like a few weeks ago on an early morning, grab coffee and some food for an early morning. Guy was there, took my order. I get the food and coffee and it's all cold. Nothing was fresh. I try to call several times and no answer, stop by after later that day, go through drive thru, lady answers and says what I explained to her wasn't true cause she was there which I knew wasn't true because a guy took the order. Basically I asked to get a refund, she says no because I don't have the receipt her coworker didn't give me. She gives me food, slams window in my face and yells at me about my mask.
