We like visiting this location when we wanna snack. Right now they are celebrating their 75th birthday. Every day they have something different to offer customers on their app for a special birthday price. A few days ago it was two tacos for $.75. And just a day ago it was a sourdough jack for $5.99. We like this particular location because they always have our food ready on time. We order through the mobile app. It's hot and the employees are friendly. We like getting there tacos, especially as a late night snack. We have noticed several Jack in the Box locations have closed throughout the Phoenix area. We sure hope this one doesn't. Yes I realize it's fast food and no I don't expect a high-end meal or service. That being said I've eaten at Jack in the box for many years, including this location, probably 50 times. With a busy morning I just wanted to throw some food in me and not have to worry about cooking and cleaning up a mess. This location is close to me and I hadn't been here in a while. In the past ultimate breakfast sandwiches have been pretty good despite their nutrition. It's basically seven dollars now and honestly it's one of the worst sandwiches I've ever eaten in my life. The eggs tasted like the most recently they could've been made was 4 AM, which is five hours ago, the cheese I'm pretty certain is not cheese, the bun was stale and I don't know if there's never been condiments on it, but it was dry and nothing on it. There was the most unprofessional man named Adrienne and a girl with RED curly or frizzy hair who was a bigger girl in her 20s(only for context because no name tag) this girl was awful and just kept saying ohhh adirenne ohhh adrienne (thats how i know his name) they looked like they were flirting so hard and gross. I went to this location on 10-3-23 around 6:15PM. The restaurant was empty. No customers or staff to be seen. I stood at the counter for a few minutes and still no employees. The restaurant smelled like sewage and skunk. All of the trash cans in this place were overflowing. Eventually all of the staff members filed out of the back of the restaurant. I'm pretty sure they were smoking marijuana. This Jack sets the bar. I love Jack and so I visit often. In fact this is the 2nd time today. Service is on point. Very friendly staff and it starts with the manager. Consistent service throughout the restaurant. The food was cooked to order and was great. I went to another Jack in the box earlier today who was competing with McDonalds on the amount of trips it takes through the drive thru to get your full order. Went through the drive-thru the person (Carmen according to my receipt) that took my order kept cutting me off when I was trying to place my order. I couldn't get a word out with her saying "And?" "And?" Then she let out a big sigh and said "WHAT ELSE?" I was behind 4 cars, it took a long time. I didn't mind waiting when it was my turn the window was wide open I sat there for a few minutes and another girl walked up and said "I'm sorry I don't know where she went" when I got my food the large curly fries were half empty mixed with regular fries, hard and cold. The burgers were luke warm, tacos were stale. For the outrages price of $41.14 for the food the person taking your order could at least be polite and not receive absolute garbage for food. Their service is terrible. They get orders wrong frequently. They're always behind even when there is only one customer. UPDATE: We ordered an item that was supposed to have no cheese (since I have a strong allergy to dairy, not a lactose intolerance). This person tried to argue with us to just take off the cheese, which was melted to the food. She was huffing and puffing the whole time like she was inconvenienced to do her job. I've never had a bad experience at this location. The food is always fresh and tastes great and the lines always go smoothly even though they're usually busy (unlike some others I've been too). They do not know anything about the phone app. She did not even suggest to go inside and see the manager to help me out. This is the usual Jack-in-the-Box I go to. Like everything else is hit and miss whether the food is made well or not. When I placed my order and went to the window, they immediately asked me to pull around front and they bring my order out to me, I asked him why are they playing games? I know they're using a timer, so they get you out of the drive-through as fast as possible so it looks like they served you quickly - when they didn't. I told the lady through the drive-through. I didn't appreciate the games with the timer and I didn't want cold food. She said it wasn't her fault. It was higher management and I know that however they haven't been asking people to drive around until suddenly, they're starting that shit up again pull around or bring your food out to you! Well, they told the lady in back of me to pull around front also and I had to wait for my food until her food got cooked because they brought them out together! Why do I have to wait for somebody else's food to get cooked to get mine before it gets cold! Nobody cares! I think it's very sad and unprofessional to do this. And yes, my order was cold and I only live five minutes away! I was so angry! The manager of this place I don't see him much in there anymore but whoever they got replacing him or whatever they need to knock it off! Stop using that add a date time or bullshit. Nobody else minds waiting for good food at any of the locations, so why is Jack-in-the-Box being so dumb about it so needless to say, I probably won't go there anymore because I'm sick and tired of the bullshit, and you really should train your staff better, when you can keep them. I'm not sure why I try to be a nice person and give second chances. This visit on Tuesday 4/27/2021 I visited the drive thru. The only one in the drive thru and they asked me to pull to the front. I did, then 3 more cars were pulled up front from the drive thru, all which were behind me mind you. They all got brought out and served their food before me. When I went inside to get my food it was sitting on the shelf and it was cold. I was so frustrated and not in the mood to argue to wait for them to redo my food. I left and I will not be back. This is the 1st time we tried the Breakfast meals at this Queen Creek location. It was Great on every level. The food was prepared Hot, Fresh and Appetizing. The Biscuit was fresh and so was the egg cheese and bacon. The breakfast burrito was Huge and filled with great fresh ingredients. Also, came with Hot fresh coffee and hash browns. I was compelled to write a review of positives, as I felt it was justified. When all you usually see and write about are the negatives of any restaurant or business. Also, note the customer service courteous, and quick. It was a very busy location so that was also good to note. The lobby was very clean and orderly also. I come here about twice to three times a week. Usually around 4 am after I get off work. Every single time I am told I cannot order due to a subsystem update. Honestly why say you're open 24 hrs when you just have lazy employees that don't feel like working at 4 am. I never write bad reviews, but can never get food here when advertised.
