Met a friend who is from upstate but has a place here for lunch. One of my favorite spots in FH due to the space & especially the koi pond. The fish are so beautiful and peaceful. It did get busier since we arrived right at noon. Thankfully we didn't have reservations but they had a spot for us since restaurant was still empty. We both got lunch specials. We both got miso soup. I got the vegetable dumplings (trying to eat healthier) with cauliflower and carrots and I was impressed! So flavorful and I felt better eating it. I then got the house special roll which was fresh & yummy. Definitely enjoyed the space and the waiter managed to get a smile from him. My friend is vegan so he tried to accommodate her. Once he found out she couldn't eat dairy he recommended the tirimisu for dessert. She took to go for her dad and I ate mine. Everything was delicious!

ƙ I finally came back & the service is just as bad as it was 2 years ago. The food is good tho. I will actually have to try take out from now on. I love the decor & the food but the service I don't know what the issue is. I started off with one waitress & didn't come back for sooooooo long that I had to ask another person to help us. She ended up helping us the rest of the time. The other person was there & eventually came back to say that she was tied up on the other side which is no excuse to me. I ordered 3 extra dishes to go 1 came out and the other 2 took another 20 minutes to come out. Don't really understand but from now on I think I'm just gonna have to do take out. Thanks Lee for taking over the table you are appreciated.

So apparently this place is halal. The interior is so beautifully decorated. Gives date night vibes. Besides the fish pond, they even have a throne by the fish tank near the bathroom. 4/5 Filet mignon wok charred $42- pretty good, steak was tender Wish they had more non sweet steak options instead of the teriyaki steak. 3/5 sweet & sour chicken $24- standard, sweet but not extremely so

Went for a quick snack and drinks with friends on a Friday night. The place was packed so we went to the back, by the bar. That was also packed but they set up a table for the three of us in the quieter hall to the side which was perfect for socializing without screaming. Our server was friendly and informative. He took our drink orders and we also got vegetarian dumplings and an order of tempura rock shrimps. My friend asked if the food could come quickly since she was very hungry. We got the drinks and the food came very fast. I tried one of the dumplings and it did not taste good to me. My friend ate them since she was hungry. Not sure if she liked them or not. I ate a few shrimps which were good. Our server informed us that Happy Hour is every day from 12-6 (or was it 7) if you sit in the bar area.

Was pleasantly surprised, Jade has a great happy hour going on. Their signature lychee martini at $9 was strong and tasty! The HH menu is extensive with a wide variety of food: sushi rolls, tacos, wings with an Asian twist. There's something for everyone. The wings were tasty but kinda small. Just 3 wings on the plate. So be prepared. The ambience of the lounge is so cute! Great for date night or just a friend catch up. There's a bunch of tables in the back or you could sit at the bar to watch sports on the multiple TV's. Service is good and they even checked on us to make sure we got our drink order in before HH ended. Really appreciate that! Will definitely be back!

Went Saturday night for a friend's birthday dinner and had a great time. What a perfect place to start a girl's night out. I loved my dish the Thai Ginger Chicken. I also had the bok choy, tuna tartare and shishito peppers. All delicious. Food came out quick. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and had great recommendations. They had great music playing, trendy and fun vibe. A great spot for 6+ parties.

Incredible $18 lunch special for a Four Course meals in Queens!! Can't beat that special anywhere, let alone New York. The food also happens to be one of my favorite cuisines: Asian Fusion is a mix of Indian and Chinese/Japanese flavors. This place is perfect for groups who can't decide between what to eat: they'll be something on the menu for every one! The restaurant is large and has a huge, lively interior with decorative walls, a waterfall, aquarium, and gram worthy walls. The bathrooms were clean and pleasant. The servers were quick and friendly. I walked in without a reservation and got seated without a wait on a weekday lunch hour. I ordered the 4 course lunch and started with the hot & sour soup which was delicious. I paid a little extra (I think only $1/$2) for the tandoori chicken as my entree and did not regret it one bit. It tasted perfect and even made great leftovers the next day along with the rice. I also got cheesecake for dessert which also did not disappoint one bit. If I lived close by, this would be a weekly regular lunch spot. It's a great, affordable place to meet friends for lunch & still have an amazing restaurant experience where it feels like a dining experience instead of a quick takeout but at the same price.

Came here for resturant week with my finance. Ambience is a lot of fun, but loud. There was a DJ and it made it fun. The food is great and so are the drinks. Would come back.

With my most recent visit we noticed this place was part of restaurant week so we figured why not! They have a great 5 course meal which is perfect for trying out different bites. Drinks we started with Kyoto sour nice drink & the Bangkok sunset not bad a bit on the sweet side. Later on we switched to White wine since it was part of their $5 glass special it was good. We started with the Maki roll, good roll & the Rock shrimp tempura great as always. Next up Chicken tiki, very good nice flavor to the chicken w a little spicy kick to it & the Cocktail samosas, also very tasty. Next was the General Tso chicken very good chicken & the Szechuan skirt steak yumm very flavorful. Sweet end to the course, we had the Cheesecake so rich & creamy & the Green ice cream, just the right amount of sweetness. Service has always been good, they are very attentive. This place has a cool fun vibe, nice decor & good music playing. I'd decided to up the stash since I've never had a bad experience here, food has always been consistent. This is one of the neighborhood places that is good & am happy they are still around, worth checking it out.

Jades eatery was AMAZING, we came here for a birthday celebration and they did not miss. The waiters came out quickly with all the food and they made us feel great the whole time. We shared laughs with the staff the whole night. We came with a party of 20. The scenery was great they have a little fish tank in the middle of the floor which sets the tone. It's amazing here. I highly recommend if you're looking for an Asian cuisine

Came here on Mother's Day and it was so chaotic. With reservations some guest still had to wait 1 hr. I had reservations and arrived 30 minutes before. Waited online and was seated. The back of the restaurant was empty so unsure why guest weren't being seated (maybe not enough staff). For entree, I think I was turned off by the service so I only got drinks and edamame. The edamame took forever to come out because the waitress forgot it? It wasn't as tasty as I hope and a bit dried out. Drinks were good in my opinion as they were strong. Place is pretty large with a lot of seating for large groups. Not sure I would return though. Service was bad but not sure if it was due to the holiday rush.

Drinks: Lychee Martini - it wasn't too my liking. Could not taste the lychee just a lot of really strong gin. 6/10 Berry margaritas- 10/10 Appetizers: 1. edamame 10/10 2. Shrimp dumplings boiled 10/10 3. Fried calamari 6/10 - (too dry) , no marinara sauce Entrees: 1. sweet and sour chicken with white rice 7/10 2. Salmon tacos 5/10- could not taste the tacos. The were damn dear diced and had only a coal burnt smell It's very hard to ruin tacos but based on the fact that the salmon was so small and overcooked, it was like chewing on cardboard We ordered Thai rice with shrimp to take home. That appeared to be like rice biryani with pineapple, cashews, eggs and veggies. So good 10/10 Ambiance: Decor is a fusion of both Asian and Buddhist culture with murals and figurines to represent both. The open fish pond in the middle of the dining floor is an added touch. 10/10 I love that the bar and dining are intentionally separated, especially when the game is on so you can separate the loudness of the crowd. 10/10 Service: Overall the staff is attentive- constantly scanning the tables in their area to see if they can take dishes away or bring water etc. no complaints, asking about how the food is going and making solid recommendations. 10/1 We skipped the dessert and opted instead to grab dessert from a very popular local bakery instead ( see my review on that)

    Is the food halal?

That was not advertised on the menu so I'm gonna assume no

    Is hookah still available here?

As far as I know yes

Can we bring our own cake for a bday celebration?

I would definitely contact the restaurant in advance and ask if it's ok, as you will be bringing your own food to a restaurant, and this restaurant has a dessert menu. Some places don't allow it, some places may ask a fee, and some places may just…

    What is the parking situation?

There isn't any parking near the restaurant. I had to park about 3 blocks away.

Is the food halal? Is there a halal certification?

I was told by the person in the restaurant that it is halal

Does the chicken and broccoli come with white rice?

Yes , u can get either white or brown rice.

    Is it halal?

    Yes

Is Jade open? I went the other night and they were not. I called and the # doesn't work

    Yes it is

Bought a groupon deal $35 for worth of $60 food, but my groupon deal doesn't say anything besides lunch for two and no amount was mentioned, im assuming they are very familiar with the deal already?

Not sure call them at jade ,

    Will they reopen?

They have a soft reopening tonight. Jade is back in business.

    How old to do hookah?

    Noooooooo!!! I loved that place.

    Age requirement to get in?

No age requirement but must be 21 to drink

The drinks were on point and the food was delicious! Their menu is more finger foods and decent bites if you plan to drink. I would like to see 1 or 2 more food menu items added but everything we had was very very good. We had the sampler and it was perfect for us. The DJ was everything! The music was so good. Old school early 2000's hip hop and r&b. But I hear on any given night, the music goes to the vibe of the crowd. The service was fantastic. We had everything we needed and the wait staff was attentive. I will absolutely be coming back here! They have great happy hour during the weekdays and a brunch I want to check out. 10/10 so far.

The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

Well, at least business was "Blooming" due to Mother's Day reservations…read more All jokes aside, I visited this restaurant yesterday for a Mother's Day brunch with a group of eight others. Our reservation had been confirmed the day before by both our host and the restaurant. When I arrived early, I was surprised to find the place jam-packed and clearly overcrowded. The front-of-house staff, along with the presumed owner, seemed overwhelmed and initially could not locate our 12:00 reservation. There were also guests with 11:30 and later reservations that were still waiting to be seated, along with several other groups scheduled around our time. After waiting nearly 50 minutes, talking with others who were also waiting, and watching two other tables be hastily set up and filled, we were finally seated. The table had been quickly wiped down and set with placemats, but it was missing silverware and several glasses. Most of this was resolved fairly quickly, though two people still never received glasses, with one person asking a few times for one. Our clearly overworked waitress brought us water and eventually took our order after a shorter additional wait. I ordered a $6 cappuccino, which was enjoyable, with a moderate amount of foam and a pleasantly bitter flavor without tasting over-roasted. However, another person's $4.50 iced coffee did not seem worth the price, as it appeared to be no more than a 12-ounce glass and was mostly filled with ice. Outside of coffee, the staff was understandably slow with water, with long waits, and we finally got a pitcher near the end of the meal. For my meal, I chose the $16 Poached Browns, which included two poached eggs, pulled pork, an English muffin, hollandaise sauce, and their Bloom hash. Many minutes later, and I mean many, the eggs were properly poached and were the highlight of the dish. The pulled pork, served without any additional sauce, was dry, and the small amount of hollandaise did little to help. The hash on the side lacked crispiness and vegetables, aside from what might have been a tiny piece of chopped yellow pepper. Overall, it was below average but passable. Two others ordered the Make Your Own Omelette for $19, which comes with a choice of three ingredients, the same hash, and bacon. They made two specific requests, both of which our waitress confirmed: first, that they did not want bacon, and second, that they could substitute fries for the hash--regular fries for one person and sweet potato fries for the other. Despite this, both plates arrived with bacon, as you can see in my first photo, where one of them transferred her bacon to my plate. The other person sent her plate back and ended up receiving her Mother's Day meal well after everyone else. The omelette also looked a bit more like a frittata, which I didn't mind. After waiting a while, including finally getting pitchers of water, we finally left after a long and annoying bunch. If this spot indeed had reservation issues, why on earth were they still allowing walk-ins? Why did they tell people it would take 15-20 minutes to seat when it would clearly take 30+? This entire experience was inept from beginning to end. The food this time is closer to a 2, but our experience as a whole was closer to a 1. I would never go back.

We tried to make reservations for 6:30pm, but it gave us an error message that the time had been taken already, so I was assuming that the restaurant would be packed, but it was the opposite when we walked in. There were only two other people there. So I would definitely look into their reservations system. For drinks, I went for the mango margarita. 10/10 recommend the drinks. My margarita was delicious. their cocktail menu looks super fun, they have drinks that come out in little bathtubs and cute presentations. For food, we shared the ahi tuna tostada appetizer which was so good! super fresh and flavorful. For our mains, I got the chicken al pastor tacos (loved the flavors, especially the avocado crema) and he ordered the carne asada tacos, which were also packed with flavor.
