What an interesting place. Asian Fusion and Indian dishes make for many good choice's. It's a younger crowd and is reflected in the music . Not much at clubbing anymore but it adds an upbeat mood. The selections are broad and we haven't had a bad dish yet. I like Indian cuisine my dining partner sushi. We both can order what we like. It's great. I came here for brunch with my friend on a Thursday around 1pm. It wasn't crowded so we sat down right away. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant with the blue/purple lighting. I loved the pond in the middle of the restaurant with all the fish. The fish were a little aggressive and wanted to be fed. Our server was nice. The restaurant had these really cool ipads you could look through the menu on and see pictures. We ordered two pitchers (a mimosa pitcher and sangria pitcher), sushi, wings, and our entrees. I order the chicken and broccoli for my entree and it was delicious. My friend thought her food was okay. She got shrimp and broccoli. The sushi and wings were good too. Pros: decor is very nice and the vibes is great! Very big space, they have private room, great for parties. Outdoor seating has beautiful views. Good garlic naan. Cons: food is just so so. I understand is Asian fusion, and It offers lots of option but it gets confusing. I wish they have a smaller menu but with really great yummy options. We have 4 people, but the bill is included 20% tips. I don't think is fair that they forced us to pay 20%. So I take off one star for that. read more

First impressions; When I entered Jade my party was a bit late, the maitre D was very understanding and gave us a time deficit to hold our table. I went in and enjoyed a whiskey on ice, watching a smoked old fashioned being served with marvelous flare by the bar tender. The glasses clean, the whiskey unadulterated, the ice cube huge and slow melting. The first impression gets 4 stars because the iPad didn't show the spirits. The service; our orders were taken promptly and with fantastic accuracy, most of our food was quickly forthcoming (well within ten minutes of ordering for our apps!) and our drinks were well watched. The staff also put in a nice show for my girlfriend's birthday, taking a provided cake and placing a sparkler in it and singing happy birthday enthusiastically, and going so far as to slice out a few sections for members of the party to take home with them. The service gets 5 stars. The food; my God I haven't enough good to say about the appetizer round! We ordered the fried calamari, thin sliced and tender, well seasoned alongside thinly sliced hot peppers and a sweet spicy tangy dipping sauce, beef dumplings, savory and juicy with a good crunch from the frying. Fried chicken to die for, a sweet spicy sauces fried chicken as well, and vegetable spring rolls which I did not personally sample out of respect for a vegetarian member of the party. The APPS were SO good. 5 stars! The mains; the mains... one member of our party had chicken and broccoli which looked very delicious, another a pineapple fried rice which she commented was a bit sweet. My girlfriend and her sister got sushi rolls which they both enjoyed immensely, and then we came to my sushi... I ordered the 12 piece assorted nigiri tasting at 64 dollars and... I was sadly underwhelmed. The octopus was bland and chewy, the scallops were abysmal, and the "king" crab was not even close to being so, tasted much closer to snow or even lump blue crab. The tuna, hamachi and shrimp were all passable but just didn't justify the price tag. Therefore the sushi only gets 2 stars from me. All in all I will give this restaurant 4 stars, it was a very pleasant eating experience and I would certainly go again, but the seafood supplier needs to be replaced ASAP. read more

We were a large group (18) so tables had to be pushed together kind of awkwardly in the back by the bar. There's a large private space for parties which looks beautiful. Came here because my friend is searching for halal dumplings. He found it and glad he got to try some. . It is not traditional dumplings like I am use to Chinese style. But it's kind of a challenge to find halal dumplings. . I got distracted with the menu which offers a lot of food. I tried the sushi section. It was ok, not bad or anything stand out for the sushi section. . California roll - it was good and your average Cali roll. The price wasn't bad, it was like 6 bucks. . Sashimi - I had the scallop, octopus, and tuna. It was ok as well. Each one cost like 5 bucks or so. It was definitely a snack 2 to 4 pieces each. . I had a beer that was on draft. I forgot which one but I didn't even finish it, and I went to the restroom, when I came back my beer and water was gone. The beer had at least 4 to 5 sips left. I didn't say anything but got dissapointed. Really even my water with ice in it was taken away. I didn't even bother asking for a new one. . Overall it's nice inside. The outside is nice too. The area is fancy. I don't think I will make my way here because the food wasn't memorable. There is way too many choices to choose that is better in my opinion. The ambiance overall was super laidback, and it was also decorated very nicely. It wasn't busy around the time that we came, and we were seated by their pond that had a bunch of koi fish. Their menu is definitely very extensive and ranges from many cuisines such as Indian, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese dishes, so there were so many options to choose from. The menu was on an iPad and it was kind of overwhelming to look at and to choose from as opposed to just a regular menu which you scroll on rather than click. King Crab Rangoon (7/10) I love crab rangoons and although this wasn't the traditional shape, it still was pretty good although I hoped that they had the sauce on the side to dip on instead and the sauce to be sweet and sour sauce. However, the filling inside was pretty good. Coconut Shrimp (8/10) So crispy and really good. Didn't have any expectations for these but they were honestly pretty good and had just the right amount of crispiness and paired with the mango sweet chili sauce was really good. Couldn't get enough of these to be honest. Love Boat (7/10): Made of two house rolls: Guru (shrimp tempura, cucumber, topped with eel, avocado, scallion, red & black caviar, eel sauce), Jade (spicy salmon, cucumber, topped with eel, smoked salmon, scallion, eel sauce) and a California Roll. I came here on a Friday evening & upon entering it was a nice little crowd in there, however there were some empty seats. My party & I were told there will be a 30 min wait for a table or we can sit at the bar, so we sat at the bar. The bar area had low tables with a couch seat & a regular chair & that's where we sat vs sitting directly at bar. Jade has a very cozy kind of vibe. For drinks we had a lychee martini & piña colada, both were good. For my app & entree I had the shrimp tempura & salmon & avocado roll. I'm not sure what my date had, but he's vegan so it was a vegan option, but he had no complaints & neither did I. Overall everything was good. I did find it a little odd the hostess saying a 30 min wait, when one table with four seats wasn't occupied until about 15 mins before my party & I left, but I was good with the bar area. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is great with a central water feature, fish tanks, and some cool wall art. It is served in a cute wooden boat initially I wasn't sure if it would be enough but split between two people it wasn't bad! This is a beautiful restaurant located in queens. Easily can hold 75+ people. I dined here for happy hour that goes up until 7pm and sampled their small bites (priced from $5-$7) such a steal for a food and drink happy hour! The rock shrimp was my favorite overall. One thing to note is that happy hour is in the back at the bar/lounge area so if you are going for that be mindful of the seating. The drinks are strong and overall I enjoyed my time there. If you've ever been to Sea in Williamsburg, you get the idea. I ordered a mocktail and had the chicken lollipops as an appetizer. The chicken lollipops looked good, but they needed seasoning. I was expecting a nicely seasoned, flavorful piece of fried chicken, but it was very bland. I didn't get any of the entrees, however, I had a shrimp tempura and spicy avocado roll which didn't disappoint. Never been the biggest fan of Jade due to their slow service pre-Corona and dark noisy atmosphere. Would probably be a great place for drinks, but definitely not a place I would rank high when considering where to eat. That being said, my favourite sushi place in the neighbourhood is closed on Sundays and we needed a place to grab sushi for a celebration, so we decided to give Jade a shot since my relatives love the place. We ordered a sashimi platter and a few other rolls, including the Jade roll. Knowing that this was a large order, my relatives placed the order the day before, and yet when they arrived to pick up the food, they had to wait 1hr+ (Imagine if we had chosen to have it delivered rather than pickup! I don't even want to think about the wait). As an apology, they were given two thai iced teas. It was an extremely hot day and honestly extremely unprofessional that they would make customers wait for over an hour to get food that was ordered the day before. Had we known this would be the case, I honestly would have rather been told upfront so we could have grabbed food somewhere else. In terms of the food itself, the sushi and sashimi was nothing to write home about. The salmon was soft and flavorful, though lukewarm (and we ate it immediately). I'm always a little worried about raw fish due to its easy ability to be a breeding ground for parasites and the temperature of the fish was a little alarming. The jade roll and unagi rolls were very salty, with too much eel sauce, overpowering the flavour of the fish. The other rolls felt a little soggy and odd. All in all, pretty mediocre sushi/ sashimi with subpar service/ preparation times. For the price we paid, I definitely wish we had chosen somewhere else. read more

I would have liked if the menu listed the price of adding protein to the noodle dishes as I only saw it when I got the check. Service was quite disappointing as our server seemed distant and never came back to check on our food and we had to ask the manager for the check. The manager was very nice and asked us how our food was during our visit so at least there is that part. Gotta say the bathrooms were kind of gross. I'd suggest investing in automatic sink sensors so someone doesn't have to touch a dirty faucet handle since there are no paper towels. Here's the thing ... with the Coronavirus affecting so many places, you find yourself being forgiving of things like delivery time (almost 2 hours late with the constantly being told "it's on its way" and "he left 30 minutes ago ...") and such. But, when that kind of stuff is followed by 1) an incorrect order on a very simple order ... like sending you a roll you didn't order, and 2) serving food that isn't particularly good and sushi that tastes less than fresh ... you can't be forgiving. Especially when you go back and read some of the Yelp reviews that you should have read before hand to find out that these issues existed before COVID, which means not only is it inexcusable, but they're using the pandemic to try and paw off issues they should have resolved before this. As someone who enjoys to eat, I prefer my food to be extremely hot when coming to my table. - the place is designed beautifully, I love the attention to detail between the front of the restaurant all the way until the bathroom. - I unfortunately did get cut by the glass that unfortunately a bus boy drop nearby me. I was okay, just a cut my leg. - Lastly, the overall bill was more expensive than I anticipated, especially since I split it with three other friends but with the discount I did receive because of the injury, I feel well accommodated. I would honestly love to come back here, but I can't justify it just yet. So I was searching Uber Eats and came across this restaurant which I believe may have changed ownership or chefs because there were a lot more Indian dishes in the menu. I was craving sushi but the cooked sushi, so I saw the Guru roll. The order process took a while and the delivery guy couldn't find the place. I opened the package it didn't look pleasant but I knew the flavors of their. The rolls tasted better than they looked because it went on a journey to find me lol. First & furmost the location of this restaurant is amazing! It's like in a gated community. It's so pretty & fancy. I never knew or seen this side of queens before. I also loved the lil pond of koi fish but unfortunately at the time I went it wasn't on. So that was a bummer :/ but on to the food it's honestly typical Chinese you can get at any local restaurant but it's still really good tho. I ordered general tso chicken & my friend had sweet & sour chicken. For starters we ordered crab rangoons & rock shrimp. Both were good as well but once again nothing diff that you wouldn't find at any typical Asian restaurant. I didn't try any of the Indian spin-off dishes. Maybe next time I will.
