I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good. I don't it unique that they use a dairy base for their shaved snow versus water base. This could be good or bad depending on whether you like e taste of milk. I thought it was great, especially since I got fruity toppings of strawberries, blueberries, and mango. You can definitely get non fruit toppings if you want. Finally you finish off with a drizzle. I chose the tried and try condensed milk. Solid, I would definitely come back if I'm the area. I continue to get my iced coffee here. they have delicious coffee. One of the guys and one of the girls is super cool and always greet me with a hello I really like that. But the older gentleman is not very cool at all. Looks at me like I am a bum. I am a surf bum but have loads of money and always treat people with respect no matter what they look like. If you're looking for something to help cool you down in time for the hot weather at the beach, then definitely check this place out! There's options for you to make your own shaved snow but there's also "premade" options for you. We got the mango milk snow, which was really refreshing! The shaved snow texture is almost like fallen pieces of snow (it's owned by a Korean lady) which is known as "pat-bing" in Korean. It's different from shaved snow from Taiwanese places, as their appearance is more ribbon-like. But nonetheless, the dessert was refreshing, although I wish there was more condensed milk and mangoes to top it off. Cash only. It can be a bit expensive, but then again you're at the beach. Boba was so overpriced.. I came when it was crowded with my husband and child and ordered a boba and açaí bowl with two bases. boba was hard as a rock and stuck together. They handed me my boba as soon as I ordered and paid which was nice. no chairs inside to relax in, feels very to go. açaí was not blended in store but frozen, unlike other açaí places I've been to. toppings on açaí were good, fresh and not skimpy, but I was not notified that an açaí bowl with two bases would be an additional charge. they stated that I could get two bases on it but trickily did not tell me the extra charge, which I appreciate from a business standpoint but not as a paying customer. atmosphere felt rushed and the back was run by teenagers who were speed running the drinks. very very overpriced for what is is, tea flavor itself is fine but you can definitely get better for the price. clean store but would not come again for quality boba. price reflects pier location but not the quality of the food. We ordered two taro smoothies with boba, one Thai milk tea with boba, and a smoothie. The boba was lackluster, no flavor just really there for texture. Thai tea was lacking that flavor, tasted more like water with milk. My friends said the taro smoothie was the perfect sweetness, but agreed that the boba was tasteless. My other friend enjoyed her smoothie. Also, when I went to pick up my order, I told the manager I had ordered a large, not a medium, but was not very polite with his response.
