The Service Dept of Jaguar LandRover is uniquely excellent...made especially that way by Mark Resende, the Service Advisor. The guy is incedible. He handles everything in the most courteous, efficient, honest way...giving you consistent updates on the status of your car, and then delivering it to your home. Wow! Having 2 Jaguars currently, both of which had issues at the same time...a steering wheel issue on one, and a tire issue on the other...I had both cars in their hands for a few years, so I really know their service. On June 28, I had my car towed to Jaguar at Manhattan for a tire change. When the car was returned to me, there were 3 scratches on the left rear door. I immediately notified Deshaun and asked for a resolution. 4 days later, he never responded. I contacted him again and sent pictures of the damage. There was no response. I reached out on July 8, and he said he would inform his manager, but he never got back to me. On July 10 (12 days after the damage), he only responded when I threatened legal action. I told him I would need a loaner car for the time when the repairs were taking place. 15 days later (almost 4 weeks after the damage), I told him to pick the car up from my job and to return it to my apartment garage at the end of the business day as I was going out of town and would not need a loaner. Days later, I returned from my trip to find only 1 of the 3 scratches were corrected, even though i specifically pointed out all 3 to the valet who picked up the car and provided photos to Deshaun. On July 30, I had the car picked up from my job to fix the remaining 2 scratches. As I was preparing to leave work, I was informed the car was on its way to my job. I asked for it to be delivered to my apartment garage, which was closer to the dealership. It was past the expected return time, and I needed to be at a medical procedure. Waiting for the car at my job would cause me to be late, so i took an Uber. Later, I received a text saying the car had been delivered. The next morning, I had a flight, and I had previously packed my belongings in the car so I could drive straight to the airport. The car was never returned to my apartment garage. With everyone in my garage and neighboring garages assisting, my car could not be located. I contacted the driver from the day before who stated he returned the car to my job, as instructed by Deshaun, even though Deshaun agreed to return it to my garage. Since my luggage and work materials were in the car at my job, I was unable to make my flight on time and missed an important work presentation. When I located my car at my job, it was parked in an isolated spot, and the right side was scratched on both doors. I informed Deshaun of the new scratches, who told me he and his manager would not be willing to repair the damage they caused, reimburse my Uber, or take responsibility for the flight I was caused to miss. So I bring my car which is a 2020 landrover sport with 11k miles...My service adviser was Jay. I tell him what I'm in here for which was engine coolant light comes in and say it's low. He then tells me ok and that he will call me 5-5:30pm eve though over the phone some one else told me 2 hours.. I was there at 9:05am. But ok I deal with that. He then sends a text with a list of things they wanted to just "check" and replace oil and coolant. Price 949.00!!! Needless to say I told him all I needed was coolant and that I was going to come back to pick up the truck... Jay simply wrote back "ok". Didn't even offer to do the job I came in for!!! Worst place ever. They try to scam their customers. I leased my car from them and also paid for servicing. I went in to service my car a few weeks back and they were horrible. No one told me my car was ready 2 hours later until I got up and asked the receptionist myself. It's also ridiculous how they didn't care especially with covid around. They literally just had me sitting there while my car was already waiting for me. They also did not even rinse or wash my car. All luxury dealerships do but this one apparently doesn't. Also tried to charge me three times the amount for a brake change than normal. read more

APPALLING. Firstly the car has proven to be of poor quality build as it rattles like an old U-Haul, is rough and jerky at low speed and is difficult to get in gear. Additionally the screens failed on more than one occasion. It needed a windshield replacement so I asked them to address the numerous other issues. On the second day the service department person I dealt with was off; when I called the others in the department said they couldn't give me an update because she was off. (Thank god nothing happened to her or I might never have got my car back!). I needed the car for a specific time and needed to know if I had to make alternate arrangements. Requests for a call back with information were ignored and requests to speak to the service manner had me holding for 20 minutes until I gave up. And request for a call back received nothing too. When I got the car back the windshield had been replaced, but the car still rattles like a jalopy and the issue of getting in gear when stopped remains. I don't know about the other issues. I have requested a copy of the invoice/work order that they didn't give me, but it appears they may be withholding it. Funny that this doesn't surprise me. Saturday March 20 evening - Sunday March 21 morning Velar hit in parking lot - deep scratches into the plastic of the front bumper Monday March 22, Bring the range rover Valare to Paramus Land Rover to be evaluated hoping to find out the time of the impact from the car computer and get an estimate for the bumper repair was told that they don't have their own body shop but they use another body shop and the guy can evaluate the car on Tuesday and also that I would not be able to get the time of the impact from my computer then that afternoon my friend took the car to the Land Rover dealership in Manhattan and spoke to Karen. I spoke with Karen on the phone briefly once and then a second time she refused to speak with me and told Leandro that she would only stick with him with the card in the car which is completely ridiculous because I think she was taking a vantage of his language. They told him that the car would be fixed and it would be $1300 and implied that the bumper was going to be repainted as that's what the service was that was requested was repainting the bumper Leandro then he left the car with them to have them check the computer and also to repair the bumper The indicated on their website and also to Leandro that they had their own body shop no indication that they were using an outside body shop Leandro trusted them with the car and left the car there and took it Uber back to New Jersey We waited all week and we're anticipating the bumper repainting will take at least a week as they said it would be 1 to 2 weeks and then on Saturday we heard that perhaps the car was ready but we weren't able to pick it up Saturday because the service department was closed so on Monday Leandro went to pick up the car and saw the truck bumper had not been repainted it was still basically Only buffed out with no repainting so the scratch was still there the scratches were still there down into the plastic and of course the green paint had been scraped away in the areas of those deep scratches so all they did for $1300 was buff out the bumper which could've been done for $100 at the car wash or less maybe 50 they completely misrepresented the service they were going to perform overcharged by an order of at least 10 magnitude and took a friend and advantage of my friends language barrier Also the loop windows were left down all week in the car the car was absolutely filthy inside everyone who's ever been to a body shop or a garage knows that they're very dirty environments and there's a lot of airborne dust so the brand new interior of the car was now filthy My friend spoke to the manager who told him that he was really sorry that the body shop it messed up and said the car would be completely detailed to clean up the interior and that the bumper would be repaired properly I also spoke with Danny and he also blamed Body Shop for the deficient repair specifically said they'll have to make this right and that the cars interior would be completely detailed to remove the dust and he implied that they were the ones that left the windows down My friend Leandro was very upset by the way he was treated at the Land Rover dealership and was ready to post on the Internet his complaints and had basically prepared a statement already but I encouraged him after speaking with Danny and believing that that was the body shop that was to blame I encourage Leandro not to make any post just yet and let's see how the car turns out so then the next morning Leandro was able to login to the app on the phone and see that the car was at a garage in Brooklyn so he took an Uber out to Brooklyn to see the car and spoke to the garage the garage informed them that they had never even seen the car before that morning and then the car was just recently brought there incidentally by a very heavyset employee of the dealership They said that the car would be ready later that day and of course they were doing a complete repainting of the bumper and that Leandro could take the car home directly from the garage that day they encouraged him not to take it back to the dealership first Thankfully the repair was done very nicely and the interior was cleaned however it's very clear also that the dealership had the car the whole time I never even sent it over to the body shop the dealership were responsible for leaving the windows down and then pleat filth in the interior they were also responsible for taking advantage of my friends language barrier and overcharging him by a magnitude of approximately 10 times to buff out the bumper and then they misrepresented the entire thing blaming the body shop who never even got their hands on the car until Tuesday so for that reason I think the dealership is completely dishonest with no integrity- as promised I'm launching an online campaign read more

Only after I leased my new car from them I found out that for me to have a tow hitch on this car will be an additional total of 1000$ between the device and the installation! Usually I'm always not looking forward to sitting with the finance department when I'm about to sign a lease because of all the expensive and unnecessary additional options I'm pressured to purchase. I've dealt with Manhattan Land Rover over a service issue for over a month. While the situation was aggravating and tense, the people there were nothing short of amazing. My main point of contact there, Karen Casado in the Service Dept, checked in almost daily with updates and kept an active flow of communication between all the parties involved, including myself, insurance, auto body shop, and anyone else that became involved. The overall service received during this tedious and unexpected incident went above and beyond. Needless to say, no one welcomes something going wrong with their vehicle, but if/when something does go astray, it makes all the difference in how the execution is carried out, which Land Rover Manhattan excelled at on every imaginable level. This dealership upholds and exceeds the Jaguar-Land Rover standard of customer service, quality and a feeling of appreciation/value as a customer. I go and the representative says to me that I'm not due until June and that they do this so that I come in and try to sell me a new car. I left three messages in the service voice mailbox and no one ever returned my call.... I was able to book on line though. But when I arrived here is the typical non sense I had to go through ... When I told the 'guy' I was here for an oil and filter change, without any reservations he said to me thats $ 325.00 ... I told him that was impossible. He argued with me. I told him I needed the drains on the sunroof unclogged. He told me there is a $ 225.00 diagnostic fee. I didn't ask for a diagnostic on the sun roof. I knew exactly what it needed. And as far as the oil and filter change, w t f. I let them take my car and walked inside to the next step. But then I decided not to be a fool and asked them to give me back my car. They did. I bought two oil/filters from them at $ 12.99 each and put them in my trunk. When I got home I called the local car wash which does express oil and filter changes and asked them if they could do an oil and filter change for me using my filter but with the cars recommended oil. They said come over. I went. $ 89.00 for the oil and filter change and they gave me a $ 4.00 credit for bringing my own oil/filter + a free car wash. At Jag, the oil and filter change is usually $ 225.00. As for the drains being clogged on the sun roof, I took the car to a local shop near where I live. The guy put a wire through the four drains, charged me $ 50.00 and gave me a two month guarantee on the work. The sad think about Jaguar is that I've really been thinking of getting a new Jag, but I won't because I don't want to get involved with Jaguar Manhattan and the other dealer is on LI (Great Neck) Your poor uneducated customer service has lost me as a customer. I brought in an SUV - purchased here new 2 yrs ago - to get minor warranty service done. They told me that the vehicle was unsafe to drive and needed nearly $6,000 of additional repairs. Fortunately, the SUV had just passed its state inspection with flying colors. This was an exasperating experience of Land Rover Manhattan. To summarize my experience I had scheduled an appointment for the Safety Recall for my Range Rover sport via their website at https://www.landrovermanhattan.com/, and they have sent me multiple emails to confirm my appointment-to every single one of them I had confirmed. On the day of my appointment, just out of curiosity, I have called in to confirm once again my appointment. They mentioned that everything is good and I can come in at the time schedule. Out of my curiosity once again, I asked them how long will the service take for which she said she called back to let me know that the part isn't there and not to come in. I was already halfway to the dealership when the receptionist Natasha had called in. I questioned why wasn't I informed this in the multiple emails that I had received or even when I called in. She kept saying the appointments are done via 3rd Party companies and they aren't aware of the scenario. That was mind blogging to me as I had scheduled my appointment through their official website at Land Rover Manhattan and she mentioned she doesn't know who handles their website portal! This was far the most unorganized, unprofessional experience that I had experienced from a dealership like Land Rover. Ultimately I questioned her why doesn't the Service advisors check with the customers who had scheduled for the recall to advise of the part's availability before they come in (because nobody called me, I called out of my curousity) and for a customer to drive all the way there just to be told that the part isn't there and drive back home is not right or professional! She immediately put me on hold without bothering to answer my questions or caring about my experience. Reluctantly took my vehicle back here for service (even after a previous disappointing experience here), but gave them another chance. This last time was worse than the last time. 2 months later, finally got my car back and that was only after legal threat. They are the biggest liars I have ever met, in history. Besides not being responsive, the deceit and lies are unbelievable. They even tried to wrongly include things that the vehicle did not need, and their own pre-certified warranty company refused the repairs as the things that service stated the vehicle needed, could not be replicated. I initially had a very serious issue with my new XKR. The check engine light came on after 30 miles. It was just a bad sensor, which having worked as a mechanic back in college, I realize those are made in China by the thousands and can go at any time. However, that was unnerving to say the least. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER......My experience at Land Rover Jaguar of Manhattan was the worst that I have ever experienced by far with any luxury car dealer. To begin, the dealership is undergoing construction and the place was dark and gloomy and very depressing. There was was a limited amount of vehicles available for customer viewing; staff morale was also sad and gloomy. Thomas was my sale rep and Moustafa was the finance manager. Both were inattentive throughout the process. I already knew what I wanted so I tried to steer away from focusing on the atmosphere. Nevertheless,, I decided on a RR and asked for the VIN to call it into my insurance company for a quote. This was on Monday. Tuesday I never heard from the dealership to at least follow up on my interest. Wednesday, I called and emailed in the a.m. and finally got a response around 5: 00 PM. I confirmed my interst and requested my vehicle for Friday the same week. On Thursday I received a call from the dealership, Thomas, who informed me that the vehicle had indeed arrived at the dealership and that I would be able to pick it up as scheduled. Thomas proceeded to then request my insurance information, which I found awkward, but I provided. A couple hours later I received a call from the insurance company stating that the dealership had called in insurance insurance for a vehicle with a VIN number different from what I had provided. ***Long story short, the dealership gave the vin for a car that was 1,000 less than the original car that I requested. They deceived me and tried to act as if they were doing me a favor. After I informed of what I had found out they said that they thought they were doing me a favor. ******Stay away from this dealership; they are not nice; they are deceitful and customer service and respect is non existent. read more
