I would have reviewed Patrick Jaguar at 4 stars possibly even 5 stars except for the most recent experience that I had. To make a very long story short. I had to take my car to the collision center because of an accident (not my fault) and told my insurance if possible that I wanted Patrick Jag to fix it since they do all my scheduled maitenance anyway. Once I dropped my car of for repair and service it was like it was lost in a big black hole. No one called me to reassure me my car was being worked on, when I finally called to find out about it, it took two phone calls a day for two days to get an answer. My car was promised to me on the 11th of January and I didn't end up picking it up until the 17th of January. And even that took two phone calls a day for a couple of days. The service department wants you to be aware of your warranty and will not help you if you have questions...so know your warranty inside and out. However, they are usually pretty quick about oil changes and routine maitenance. Anything out of the ordinary then don't count on it going smoothly. I don't think that it's just Patrick Jag because it seems that most dealerships in general are ran this way. I can't remember the last time I had GREAT customer service from a dealership (Actually I take that back and I will review them to). I don't mind paying out for my car but not after they have tried to "drum" up more money from me than is really necessary. I gave Patrick Jag a second chance after I initially went in to purchase my car but ended up not purchasing it from Patrick. I don't know if the sales guy thought that my young age meant I wasn't serious about buying a car from him or the fact that I have a family plan through Ford and he didn't want to jump through those hoops. Either way he lost a sale. I told my self that was just the sales department and I would be okay just dealing with the service and (if needed) collision department. However that doesn't seem to be the case now either! read more

I have been buying cars for more than 20 years and had the worst experience of my life at this dealership. I wish I had read the reviews before driving from Chicago to Naperville to visit this dealership twice. I visited the dealership on 12/31/20 with it being a holiday everything felt rushed and I am glad I decided not to take possession of the car, the same day. When I arrived, I showed the salesmen the Internet price of the car that was emailed to me and he said the dealership could not honor it. I initially was not going to make an issue of this because the price difference was only $1,000 and the salesman was very nice and personable. Once I get into finance, I noticed very quickly that the business manager was not friendly at all. While talking to me he rarely made eye contact. He told me that I could only get approved with Wells Fargo at a 5 percent interest rate and I have a 760-credit score. I found this to be an issue, as an African American woman. Wells Fargo was convicted of charging minorities a higher interest rate. The day I was scheduled to pick up the car, I emailed the salesman my concern about the Internet price not being honored and the high interest rate. He left me a voice message stating to come in, saying the dealership would honor the Internet price and they were shopping for a better rate. When I arrived, I knew something was off. The salesman was nowhere to be found. I was told he would be paged but never heard it. I waited for more than 10 minutes and no one asked if me and my daughter wanted to sit down. The same business manager, who was not friendly or personable, invited me in his office and said he saw my email and that we needed to cut ties because Wells Fargo failed to approve the loan. He claimed they could not verify my identity. When I visited the dealership on 12/31/20, I had all my paperwork from all three credit bureaus and more than one form of identification because in September I was the victim of identify thief and had a fraud alert placed on my credit. Rather than try to work with me, he acted as if I was a criminal trying to run a scheme on the dealership. As he did previously, he never looked at me while he was talking to me. read more

I would like to leave an updated review since I have purchased my 2021 F-Pace Jaguar back in May of 2021. I'm the type of person that likes to take care of my car and add things to give it that wow factor. So I purchased the ceramic coating warranty along with getting all of my windows tinted from front to back all matching at 5%. Bringing my car in for the tinting is where all the issues began. When my car came back I was unhappy with the front windows because they didn't match the back. I understand I did tell the shop manager 25% in the front but I also said I wanted all the windows to match so I was expecting a call asking what they should do because 25% wouldn't match the back since I'm not educated on tints. Well he ended up basically blaming me for not being educated for the wrong tint job. So I went to get a second opinion which then lead into a conversation about the ceramic coating which I paid for and never received. As you can imagine I was pissed and ran straight into Jaguar and demanded my money back. Jeremy the business manager who also helped with my loan was the one I spoke with about the whole situation. I can honestly say that Jeremy was helpful and upset with how I was treated by shop managers in the back. He was extreme apologetic. I told him I now wanted a refund on the ceramic coating warranty so I could take my car to a place of my choice. He agreed and not only refunded my warrenty but the tint job as well. They picked my car up from my house and brought me a loaner while bringing it to the tint shop to redo the front windows. Now the tints look awesome and I just got my car back from getting a ceramic coating (from a business of my choice) and am even more in love with my car then when I first got it. We recently brought our Land Rover to Jaguar Land Rover of Naperville (JLRN). One minor situation we asked them to look at was the failure of the front wipers, when off, to return to the park position. They rested about two inches above and parallel to the dashboard. We were advised to fix the problem they would have to replace the wiper arm and linkage - at a cost of $773.00. We advised them we could live with the wipers as they were and not to do anything with them. To our surprise, when we got in our car the wipers were not "as they were". Rather they stood straight up and down, perpendicular to the dashboard, and right in the line of sight of both driver and passenger. A condition we could not live with. When we advised JLRN they would have to fix the condition they created, they told us there is always a "risk" when they look at a problem and they would repair the now untenable condition they created, for $773.00. Quite a risk to the consumer. JLRN flatly refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the condition they created or to make any accommodation for its repair. Really? To highlight the incompetence and arrogance of JLRN, my local mechanic totally repaired the condition, i.e. had the wipers in the proper park position. For $59.39! Really. I brought my Jaguar to this Dealership for a basic Oil Service. Worst auto experience ever. I was told 1.5 to 2 hour wait, which is completely understandable and I was fine with it. So I sat in their waiting room. I received a text message stating I would receive updates and that I could call or reply to text message had I any questions or concerns. At 2 hours, I went to the service desk to find out ETA, no one around to help. I stood there with an older gentlemen (also there as long as me) also trying to find out same thing, "how much longer" we stood there for 20 minutes, still no help. I went back to waiting room and called and text the # provided. No answer, no response. Also, the receptionist was getting bombarded with calls, people trying to get ahold of service, for same reason, and all she could do for them was keep transferring them. It was almost 3 hours before I got got an answer from the service tech. Only to he told "I haven't started on your car yet" I was in complete shock! I just sat there, wasting 3 HOURS, for what? I had a appointment. I got there on time. You tell me up to 2 hours, it's been 3, and only to be told NOTHING was done on it. I was so upset, it's been a rough year for everyone due to COVID, but, the lack of communication is unacceptable. He didn't apologize, tell me he was sorry or even offer a solution of any kind. I asked for my keys back and left quietly. I was too in shock to say anything. Everyone I told couldn't believe it, but, majority said they've heard about these service complaints often. Wish I never made the appointment to go there. If you make an appointment to take your car here, I recommend just dropping it off and picking it up the next day. What a joke. We live in St. Charles and the closest Land Rover dealership is Patrick Jaguar of Naperville. I was reluctant to even drive to their lot because their reviews are mostly negative. Not to be deterred, I wanted to see for myself. The first thing I appreciated which it seems is an issue for some people is the fact that while we were looking at cars, nobody approached or bothered us and I prefer it that way. I hate going into stores and being hounded; I will let you know if/when I need help. Also, when you work at higher end dealerships, nobody needs to sell you on a car because the majority of people that drive on the lot already know what they want and can afford it. I was on a mission to test drive a Range Rover and ended up falling in love with a Land Rover that I thought was priced just right until I checked my car gurus app and noticed they had just marked it down even further! We entered the dealership and was met by Phillip Merza. I test drove three different cars and Phillip was patient, knowledgable, and I felt, very honest. I have not had to purchase a car in years and I usually do not like dealing with salesman and used cars because of the drama and bs. I wanted time to do more research and by the time we had made up our mind, the dealership had already closed. In the meantime, the saves on car guru for this particular car had increased to 6 saves in a matter of hours and I started sweating like a hooker in church! Phillip had provided me with his business card and cell phone and I text him bright and early the next day to put a deposit on my cc to save the car. Phew! I had decided to use my credit union for financing, but after speaking with Joe, the finance manager at Patrick Jaguar, he was able to beat their rate and so I financed through the dealership. The process went very smooth and yes, they did try to sell me a few additional features. While I felt some were necessary, like the tire/dent/dings package, and some where not, I was not irritated because this is what they do and how they get paid. So for those of you that get irritated, do your own homework before settling on a car and know what you want and do not want and do not blame them for doing their job. Everyone we encountered was helpful, gracious, and accommodating. Phillip was even kind enough to connect my phone to my car and downloaded my info. He also took the time to go over a lot of the features. I left a very happy customer, except they only gave me a 1/2 tank of gas and I think when you spend x amount of dollars at a dealership, the least they can do is provide you with a full tank of gas. I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews, for this location, prior to purchasing my vehicle. It's my parent's home town (Naperville, Il) and I purchased a vehicle while visiting and drove it back to Brooklyn. That's when the problems, staff weaknesses, lack of focus, poor professionalism, no communication, broken promises, complete lack of follow-up and almost everything else you couldn't imagine...began. Their finance manager/business manager is pretty bad and perhaps the worst at all of the aforementioned. I have had the vehicle, here in Brooklyn, for 60-ish days and they have yet to fulfill their obligations and services, that were paid in full upon taking possession of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle is not registered, the temporary license plates have expired and my insurance company is not sure they can continue to provide coverage for the vehicle. In short, it has not left the garage. If you have read this far...NO this is not a COVID-19 complication. I have been attempting to work with Jaguar of Naperville to resolve this matter for more than 45-ish days now. We drove in from Minneapolis to purchase our car. We had been in the market for a new car that had AWD and was nicely equipped and we spotted "The One" at Cargurus and then saw it on their website. From the time we inquired about my "Dream Car", till we were handed the key and we drove off into the sunset (well...actually 6 hours back to Minneapolis)...our experience was positive. Don't you just love it when everything goes off without a hitch? Our purchase was seamless and stress free. Our sales associate Roy Smith went above and beyond. Our car was waiting for us freshly detailed and sparkling and Mr. Smith ensured that all our paperwork was in order and ready to go. We immediately felt welcomed and valued when we walked into the dealership, even though we arrived wihin an hour or so of the store closing. We were impressed by everyone that we spoke to. Mr. Smith was terrific and his demeanor and disposition is an asset to Jaguar! He answered all of our questions (and boy did we have a lot of them). Honestly couldn't have been a worse buying experience. Called in over four different times on different days and the receptionist puts you on hold and never returns to the call with no one picking up.i was on hold about 10 minutes each time only to hang up and call Later. I Thought maybe it was a large facility issue but when I visitied the showroom, the receptionist is actually located next to the sales people in small showroom. Unbelievable. I was told the new Range Rover was ready on wed, but I decided to come in for delivery three days later. The car was never even prepped or touched with all the vinyl still on the car. Took over three hours to get it ready. Had to leave and come back. Car had a scratch around the windshield frame in delivery. They supposedly ordered a part. Never heard from them again even after leaving a message 6 weeks later. I Still can't get the car registered with a new sticker. Driving without a registration from their processing with state. I have been pulled over twice. I ramped it up to GM who called back and said it would take 4 weeks. 6 weeks later nothing. No registration, no warranty part. I called two days ago to GM and left message for warranty part and registration update with no return call. 120k truck with absilutely no satisfaction or care. Clearly this is a Poorly managed, now Carmax owned dealership with absolutely no one in charge of the day to day concerns. Hard to believe such an easy concept of Selling a new car can be so poorly executed in 2015. I don't expect a lot from dealerships but this is a new low. This is the worst dealership service department I have ever been to in my entire life. The communication sucks! You all have had my 2018 F Pace in and out since March 14th, 2022, and I still haven't been updated about my vehicle. I initially brought my SUV in for the seat belt not retracting, and my back passenger window kept rolling down on its own. So while it was there, I had the brake fluid flushed, the air filter changed, and spark plugs replaced. I go to pick it up the vehicle window still rolls down. I had to take it back. It stays there for a week and a half. I go to pick it up, and I get on the expressway; the vehicle starts stuttering ridiculously when I press the gas. I took the car back and stated my concerns. I was assured by one of the managers that the communication would be better, but yet another week and a half has approached, and I'm still waiting to hear from someone. I will never purchase another vehicle here or be serviced. I paid top dollar to coin service. You all suck! That would be my three referrals. I'm very disappointed with the service you all have provided. read more

Apparently Land Rover has plenty of incompetence to go around. I took my supercharged Range here after going to Land Rover of hinsdale and being dissatisfied every time. This place is an extra half hour out of my way but I figured since I'd be happy with the end result it'd be worth it. I couldn't be more wrong. I had some body work done after a fender bender. My truck had a few scratches a cracked light cover and a dent in the hood. At that time I asked them to take a look at the back seat because sometimes it gets stuck in the down position. After about 4 weeks I got my truck back they disclose to me that they found nothing wrong with the back seat (okay I'm crazy even though this is a common blog post). I felt like it was dirtier than when I dropped it off but that's okay I'll just get it detailed by my homie at Delta Sonic on my way home. I go to crank up the tunes and the volume goes down. That's weird but I was just happy to have my truck back and I'll just use the steering wheel buttons. About a month later I go to vacuum the floor of my truck. I took off the floor mats to unveil a nice surprise... WIRES!!! Oh yeah!!! Apparently some "fergottid" so I talk to them about it next time I get service done and they said they'd take care of it, they didn't, and there's still exposed wires on the floor of my back seat. I let it go because I'm busy and now expecting. Baby comes and she sits behind me and my oldest gets moved to the passenger side. That's when I realized that they messed up the seatbelt in the back seat and now the belt lays across her belly button not her hip bones as it should. I also now am fostering a toddler and I can't drive this truck because I can't safely put his car seat in the car. We bought a luxury car and got second rate service, thank you for making my life harder. I think I'll stick to Mercedes from now on. read more
