Save your time and money! Ordered a frozen tan mocha and it wasn't frozen at all, there was a little bit of ice on the bottom. I politely asked that I wanted it frozen and she rudely replied that it was and rolled her eyes. I really didn't feel like arguing with her so I threw the drink away cause it didn't even taste right and left. read more

This is a pretty cute place, but the lady taking orders and preparing the food was on her cell phone the entire time. I dont mind myself yakking on my phone whilst scrambling my eggs, but I do mind it when someone I'm paying to do it for me does it. Also her young son is playing/sitting in the food prep area the whole time. The breakfast sandwich I got was pretty yucky, but it could be because I was thinking about what kind of bacteria and such was on that ladys cell phone, childs hands and counter-sitting butt and then my food. There were a lot of locals hanging out in here drinking coffee and chatting. No food for them, though. Should have paid attention to that. read more

They really saved our morning routine!! Our hotel was great but their included breakfast didn't offer soy milk. The folks here were super nice, had great coffee plus soy milk and almond milk. Good stop for vegans! read more

I ordered The southwest burrito It could have used a lot of help. No flavor. Very over priced. I would have paid $3 for it and still have been disappointed. The croissant sandwich was nothing wonderful. Eggs had a "perfumie" flavor to them. The basic eggs bacon and toast was OK but again a $4 meal for over $6+. The Coffee was good. Staff was not very friendly considering we were the only ones in the cafe. read more

I'm usually not super picky about my coffee, but the cappuccino I got for 3.50$ was particularly disappointing. It's pretty tiny and the shots are dead. I'd pass on this shop if you're looking for halfway decent coffee at all. read more

Run. Get a gas station hot dog instead. You'll thank me later. The bacon was the thinnest bacon I've ever seen. The English muffin was undercooked. They charged $2.50 for a hash brown patty the size of a baseball card and did I mention that it took forever to get our food? The tables were all dirty and half of them were in the middle of the surprisingly long line. The line of sad locals and unsuspecting tourists. They did a great job cooking the eggs. For that they get one star. I love this town and really wanted to like this place but they failed on almost every point. read more

Great food, comfortable space, bottomless mug coffee, and fast wifi - what's not to love?

So disappointing... My fiancé and I walked into this place and ordered an iced americano and chai tea latte. After we ordered, we were trying to find a table to sit down n wait at but they were all dirty. There were dirty plates sitting on the bar table by the window. The lady with the short hair was making our drinks but was talking on her personal cell phone the whole time. Which allowed us to further investigate the cafe and how disgustingly dirty it was. She used the tap water from the dish sink (that was filled with dirty dishes) to fill my americano. She also used a milk carton that was sitting on top of the ice bin to use for my fiancé's latte (looked like it was sitting out all day). Overall, we just didn't trust consuming our drinks from there. So we ended up throwing them away. Waste of time and money. And worst of all, they weren't wearing any masks or gloves to prepare anyone's food or drinks. SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ASAP! read more

The staff are super friendly and make you feel like a local. we ordered the southwest scramble wrap (yummy but a little small), a sunflower seed bagel (first time & delish!) and a blueberry muffin along with two large iced coffees. Underwhelming, to say the least. The croissant breakfast sandwich was pretty puny and really lacked any taste. There wasn't anything to the breakfast plate. Burrito was small. Overall pretty tiny portion sizes and it was definitely not worth the cost. Service was not good. the lady working the register seemed irritated. they ran out of coffee. We stopped at this little cafe for take out breakfast before our hike. They have amazing bagels that must be made fresh each day. I had a cheese bagel with avocado, tomato, cream cheese and lettuce. Will be going there again tomorrow! They open at 7am, so great to pop into on your way to a hike. They lost a star for their cappuccino. read more

This cafe was extremely disappointing. I simply asked for a tea and the cashier told me she didn't have tea so I said I had a tea bag and I just needed hot water to which she replied that they did have teabags. I paid for it, then they told me they didn't have most of the ingredients, and offered me an onion and tomato burrito, which is disgusting. The cashier was condescending and rude. I was in Kanab for a week last summer and went to Jakey Leigh's five different times. They were wonderful abot making me feel like a local by my second visit. I tried a lot of different menu items, baked goods, sandwiches... everything was priced well and served fresh. They were happy to let me linger over something like tea and a bagel while I worked on my laptop. One day I had forgotten a cord I needed and another customer lent me hers. Great place! read more

I don't know why the Yelp app wouldn't work in Kanab, but AT&T wouldn't deliver. Therefore, I was left to use the rating on google maps. Never trust it!!!! This place was NOT worth a stop. Service was cold. Food was unimaginative. There is a small electric stove and a kid cooks the eggs. The decor is ramshackle diner. Just keep driving. I hope you can get the app to work the Kanab. The 2nd star is for the great service from the female worker who served me during my first two visits. On the third visit I realized how dirty the place is. The male worker used his hands to pick up my bagel and later mentioned to another customer that he had recently been sick. He was unfriendly and made me uncomfortable. I don't remember if he handled my money before or after touching my bagel with his bare hands but I threw it out. Too bad it's the only coffee place in town. read more
