On most recent trip to Rockport, we stopped by the Jalisco To Go food truck and ordered the Steak Omelette. The image on the menu board showed a large piece of meat, but what I got were strips instead- no biggy! Food was prepared fairly quickly and was well proportioned and well priced! I wasn't the biggest fan of the salsa (had the heat but not much flavor) and the eggs needed a bit more seasoning but with a bit of salt it was just right. The server was really friendly and I'm looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in the area! read more

A friend recommended this place because they're known for their delicious and filling burritos and tacos, so I knew I had to stop by for breakfast. We went to the truck, placed our order, and the food was ready surprisingly fast. I ordered the Sausage & Egg Taco, and it was really good. The egg-to-sausage ratio was just right, and the taco was packed with filling. I also tried the Pork Skin & Egg Taco, but I didn't enjoy that one as much. The pork skin was soggy and chewy, even though I could tell it had been crispy at one point. Combined with the softness of the eggs, the texture just wasn't pleasant. That said, the tortillas on both tacos were soft, buttery, and clearly fresh, which made a big difference in the overall quality. While I thought these tacos were good, they weren't anything special compared to ones I've had at other places previously. read more

First time trying this food truck. 10/10 amazing. I got a plain Jane, sausage and egg taco, with beans on it and it was so good. It was also huge! They loaded it up, was only $3. Was hot and fresh, the salsa was great. Pretty sure the tortilla was fresh as well. The people running it were both kind. This place was delicious. If you want a good breakfast taco, definitely go here! read more

Ay yi yi! Calientes tacos pronto! This place makes some fresh, hot tacos quickly. Their specialty seems to be breakfast tacos. Order something, and before you can get done asking for what you want, they're on the griddle back there chopping and cooking. The tortillas are fresh and hot, the taco fillings are phat, and the salsas are muy picoso! I was super excited that this place is dishing out such fresh tacos. It's a little intimidating to get to, since they create so much traffic along Business 35, it can be difficult to find a parking spot. The ambiance overall is not great, I wish they'd offer a place to sit, but it's called Jalisco ToGO not, Jalisco ToSTAY. We decided to try out this food truck a couple of days ago. We both got the crispy taco plate. The tacos were delicious! It came with three tacos, rice and beans. Two tacos would have been plenty. Next time I'll ask if I can just get two. My only complaint is that we were only given 3 containers of taco sauce for the 6 tacos. We will definitely go again! read more

This is the place to get breakfast tacos and breakfast plates in Rockport! The tortillas are first rate, all of the ingredients are fresh and well made and the hot sauce is top notch! There is nothing to dislike about Jalisco ToGo. Whether you just need some breakfast or are grabbing some grub before heading on the water, this truck is where you should go! This spot deserves more reviews and probably more business. Great quick stop if you're in the mood for some breakfast tacos/burritos. We ate here twice on our vacation to the area. The chorizo and egg burritos on fresh homemade tortillas were amazing. We added cheese because we're gringos, lol. Comes with a red and a green salsa. We especially loved the green one. Don't forget a Mexican Coke to top it off. They even made the breakfast burritos as late as our noon arrival. read more

I live here and I eat from here almost every day. Call in, pick up. That should say enough. It's "the" taco spot. Perfect for early morning tacos before a day on the water or lunch before 2pm! Never fails and always great service and fantastic tacos. read more

Arrived at about 9:00 am on 6-24-2020 at this mobile eatery. Ordered two bacon and egg tacos to go. They had plenty of egg and bacon on them. The taste was good. Their tiny salsa that came with their tacos has "Cumin" in it! Normally I don't eat cumin this early in the morning but I do like it. I put some on my taco and the Cumin taste was not overpowering. The bacon was tough but the overall taste was comparable to a sit down restaurant. The price was acceptable and this place is always booming with customers. I shall return! My qualifications as an Expert and Experienced Food and Service Critic; I have a BS in Management and have been trained in two Culinary Schools, to include on the job training at other venues. I've managed full service as well as fast food restaurants and have had my own successful Catering business. As a Trainer, I have trained personnel on how to provide superb cuisine and customer service. At the age of 73, I am now retired and enjoy being on the other side of the Apron. read more

Delicious taquitos, super fast, call it in and pick them up. They also have typical Tex-Mex plates and burgers. The prices are reasonable and I've never been disappointed. They opened their taco trailer just after Harvey and have been running ever since, they've got quite a busy business in the morning so it's best to call your order in. read more

Yum yum delicious breakfast tacos, as you pull into the spot you smell the homemade food. They are cooking everything right in front of you. Very clean and following COVID-19 rules. The take credit cards which was a big plus for us since we don't carry cash. I called them to ask about the credit cards and they were really nice you can also call the order ahead. It didn't take long for us to get our order even though they were busy. read more

I passed by this food truck many times, but never stopped. I always noticed a good crowd each time by, which indicated to me the place may have good food.
