This is a food truck in front of Lulu's Landing! I made them a yelp JUST to write this review! After searching for multiple restaurants to go to in the waits being 2 hours or more we stumbled upon this cute ass food truck and the stars were aligned! It's not stupid expensive and the amount of food you get is amazing! We didn't get a chance to get pics of the food because immediately ate it all before we could even take a picture lol but we went back to get more food about 2 or 3 more times after ordering the first time. The service is incredible, the staff is extremely friendly and it was just an all around vibe! The food was immaculate! YALL HAVE TO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!! IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!

Menu: it's call to order here

Love, love Brita and this food! Hush puppies and shrimp are to die for but now we have to try the gumbo based on Bailey's recommendation!

A versatile menu, the majority of which is seafood, as we're in Rockport, but look out for the PERFECT Ribeye. Cooked exactly as ordered, beautifully seasoned, and one of the most tender and flavorful Ribeye steaks, ever. It includes 3 very tasty, grilled shrimp, and two sides. I had the hottest baked potato ever, yum, and delicious green beans. Dylan enjoyed his steak enourmously, with creamed corn and a loaded baked potato. Although we arrived starving, we could both only eat half. No problem, lunch the next day and Bizou was thrilled. Thank you Stephanie! Also, for Rockport, they're open late (9 pm). But they still kindly greeted people at 8:45. Be kind folks, and show as they're shutting everything down!

The faster they move you, the quicker they can break the table down and clean for the next person. Food was ok. My expectations were high based on the Google reviews. The white fish was the best part. The calamari was smh... the redfish was not great fried, I think next time I get it grilled. It was over cooked. The breading on the shrimp was different. Not terrible. Just different. My kids and I loved the Pho. The broth was clean, noodles were great and not over cooked. I'd definitely go back for the Pho. If you're looking for that one spot you can go for consistency and a bill that doesn't break your bank, this could be it? I'm struggling because I was impressed with the food scene at Rockport. Even Galveston was better, which is weird. I will say that it was better then Bubba's in Seadrift.

My 6-year-old daughter was served her meal last, and when she finally received her chicken nuggets, they were raw and undercooked inside. Unfortunately, she had already eaten one nugget before we discovered it. We are now monitoring her closely for possible foodborne illness, including salmonella exposure, which no parent should ever have to worry about after dining out. What made the situation worse was the way management handled it. Initially, we were only offered 50% off the bill, despite the seriousness of serving raw chicken to a child. They did not automatically remove or comp the child's meal or the replacement meal. When we expressed that we appreciated the gesture but wanted to speak with the owner about the situation, management became defensive rather than taking accountability. Eventually, we were told the entire ticket would be covered -- but only if we agreed to never come back. That response was shocking and unprofessional. At no point did we feel genuine concern, accountability, or care for our child's wellbeing. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but how a business responds says everything. Serving raw chicken is a serious health risk, especially to a young child, and the handling of the situation left us feeling dismissed rather than cared for. We cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

There wasn't a single vegan‑friendly option--no balsamic, no simple oil‑and‑vinegar--so that part definitely missed the mark. They also charge full price for the all‑you‑can‑eat salad bar even if you only want one plate. I thought that was a bit silly, but rules are rules. I also tried their blue mimosa, which was new on the menu. It didn't taste any different from a regular mimosa, so I'm pretty sure it was just champagne with blue curaçao for color. Fun to look at, but nothing special flavor‑wise. On the positive side, everyone in my group who ordered seafood was thrilled. My friend's coconut shrimp was cooked perfectly--crispy, not greasy, and with just the right amount of coconut so it wasn't overwhelming. Several people at our table ordered the crab cakes, and they all raved about how good they were. Overall, the seafood seems to be the star here, but the salad bar and drink execution could use some attention.

Until a few years ago, entrees came with your choice of soup or salad bar. Now, you must chose between soup and gumbo and if you want a salad bar, it will cost you an addition $5.99. I would be surprised if the salad bar plate is larger than 5" in diameter. The salad bar was one of the main attractions. Tonight, the dressing was warm, the croutons were stale, and salad-bar staples like boiled egg and cheese are now noticeably absent. Garnish on my fried shrimp plate was a laughable sliver of wilted green-leaf lettuce and a lime wedge so small it only lasted for 2 shrimp. I looked through the reviews to see if I was the only regular who felt this way; unfortunately, I am not.

There are plenty of seating options on the patio where they also have opened bar area. The restaurant can accommodate many guests inside too. Food and drinks: Good selection of seafood dishes. I opted for wild caught salmon. The fish was cooked and seasoned well. We also chose sandwich with crab which was equally tasty. They offer great variety of cocktails. Pricing: $$ - definitely not overpriced and worth it.

Disgusting Kitchen Standards & An Absolute Joke of a "Discount"…read moreLet me start by saying our waitress was awesome. She was attentive, polite, and this 1-star review has absolutely nothing to do with her. This is entirely on management and the kitchen staff. We came in as a party of four and ordered appetizers. As soon as they hit the table, we pulled out two long hairs--one in each appetizer--right in front of our waitress. She was visibly startled and asked what she could do. Trying to be understanding guests, we told her not to worry, and she apologized and said she'd speak to the Back of House. When the main courses arrived, the food was okay, though it seriously lacked flavor and desperately needed salt. But the real insult came when the bill arrived. Since we had actual hair served in our food, we politely asked our waitress if a discount could be applied. She apologized, mentioned she hadn't been sure how to handle it initially, and went to speak to the manager. After a long wait, she came back with a "discounted" bill. The original total was $179 and change. The manager's grand gesture of a discount brought it down to $173 and change. But here is the absolute kicker: because we paid with a card, they tacked on debit card fees that brought the final total right back up to $179. Where the hell is the actual discount? In this day and age, almost no one carries cash. Sneaking in extra card fees to completely wipe out a "complimentary" discount for serving us hair is cheap, manipulative, and terrible business. If you're going to charge card fees, embed them in the food prices like a reputable establishment. Between whoever is cooking in the back without a hairnet and a management team that thinks a net-zero "discount" fixes serving unsanitary food, we will absolutely never be back. Step up your hygiene and your management standards.

We found the food to be acceptable, but very slow action out of the kitchen. My guess is they were shorthanded there, because many tables wee not occupied. Fortunately the bar must have been fully staffed, because the drinks came out post haste. Try the crab tower as appetizer, though it could serve as a light lunch too. The soft shell crab Po Boy was good, with two very large ones, but the sauce that came on the side left us wanting something different. We also had the Ahi salad and the fish taco. We arrived around 8:00 p.m. and waited about 45 minutes to an hour just to be seated. Once we were finally seated, we ordered a dozen oysters, three waters, two cocktails, and mac and cheese for our daughter. The drinks finally came, but they were incredibly weak. The biggest disappointment was the mac and cheese--it tasted like plain boxed Kraft macaroni, which was shocking for a restaurant. We placed our dinner order and then waited another hour and 45 minutes without receiving any food. By this point, it was 10:30 p.m., and our daughter had already finished eating and was exhausted. Our waiter, Kalen, was actually very polite, energetic, and apologetic throughout the night. He kept checking in and apologizing for the kitchen delays, so I don't blame him, he could have had an upper hand- and gotten aggressive and made an impact on timing. Unfortunately, after waiting nearly 2 1/2 hours from the time we arrived, we still never received our meals. My husband had to go to the front twice to cancel our order because we finally gave up and left hungry. The waiter again was nice but he could have done more and the manager competed our water and our daughters Mac and cheese. When we walked out - she had the audacity to give us a sad face - maybe you should have thought about your feelings while trying to get our food. It was truly a disgusting and horrible experience. We understand restaurants get busy, but waiting that long without food or any meaningful communication is unacceptable. We won't be returning. Other tables were being sat after us and actually left while we were still waiting that had received their food and paid. Extremely disappointed and will NEVER GO BACK.
