I waited by the door for another five minutes until the worker asked why I was waiting. I then told her I'm still waiting for my drinks she then had asked me what do you mean who took your order. I hate to be a pest on Yelp - but I've had a number of not so great experiences at this location. I work nearby and, especially when it gets hot, I CRAVE Jamba! I've never been to a location that made my drink wrong. And, the one or two times they have at other locations, they're usually eager to remake the drink to my liking no problem. Sometimes they'll even ask what was wrong! Since I usually get the Strawberry Surf Rider, it's usually just not citrusy enough. At this location, they've often made my drink wrong, they rarely fill my cup all the way, and the wait for the drink is a lot longer than needed, based on my experience at other jamba juices. One time, they even gave me a drink that wasn't blended all the way! I was pretty much eatting my drink. Since I was on a lunch break, i didn't have time to go back, but I was highly upset. My GF told me about a secret Jamba Juice menu a while back ago so I finally gave one of the items a try - the Pink Starburst. It tastes just like a Pink Starburst! I had some gift cards so I came to Jamba twice this week. First one was at the Redwood City location ....got an energy bowl with Peach Perfection as the base. She made it so watery and it was horrible, I ended up asking for more granola because it was so poorly done. So next try...come to THIS jamba in Foster City and YESSS finally....someone who is excited and joyful and stoked to make your smoothie turn out well. I believe it was the manager, Keaton? That's what my receipt said. I asked for Kale-ribbean smoothie as an energy bowl with no dairy. I love Jamba Juice but the workers who work here are the slowest I've ever seen. There is a line of 6 people and one worker is sitting down on what I assume is his lunch break. That's fine with me but if you see a line, help out! The one behind the counter takes a few minutes to ring up one person and leaves the smoothie in the blender for a few minutes before pouring it in the cup. I just want my smoothie already! I like this location a lot and I mean A LOT. When I first started coming to this one, one of the employees was always unfriendly in the morning and she acted like she just didn't want to be there. I came in once and she was sitting on the counter, chatting with her coworker. I'm sure there is downtime and you can chill every now and then, but don't sit on the counter. Anyway, I haven't seen her in a long while and the staff they have in the mornings now is awesome. I'm bad with names and really try not to put names on reviews, so I can't give them props on here, but they remember my order, always smile, and are quick to get through busy times. I've always felt this Jamba Juice location makes their smoothies crappy compared to others but would end up here for convenience. Well this was the last straw on my decision to not ever come to this location again. When I went their the other weekend they weren't busy there were 2 workers. 2 people already waiting for their drinks, 2 ladies were already ordering their drinks when I walked in. There were 2 young girls in front of me.. I waited 10-15 min to watch one wash 40 blenders they didn't quite need that moment and the other slowly make smoothies. I went up to one of the workers and asked if they can at least take our order since it's not busy and she says "yeah will get to you when we get through these orders" I just walked out because I don't need to spend my $10 on a crappy smooth and wait another 15 min to watch them wash blenders when it wasn't necessary + another 15 min for them to make my smoothie. I can't wait to see this location gone tomorrow due to lack of customer service. And I'm looking forward to spending my money at next business that replaces this business. read more

One word: Gross! I was the only customer in the shop, and after receiving my smoothie, I walked back toward the counter and caught the employee slurping the rest of my drink from the pitcher!! Her mouth was on the plastic, and it almost made me sick. Her partner let out an embarrassed shriek, and the girl placed the pitcher back on the counter. They forgot to make my flat bread, and when the "slurper" handed it to me, I had second thoughts about touching it. this is the only location that has a point system where you enter your phone number to get points for each drink. however, the machine never works! i think its worked twice since ive been there. terrible. dont offer it if it doesn't work. anyways, always honors coupons when available. staff is okay. always makes the right drinks. however, witnessed a time when staff did not know how to add and subtract change. uhhh doesnt the register do that for you? doesnt the register tell you exactly how much change to give the customer? sheesh. i was nosey and overheard the lady give $20.05 for an order of 5.95. the employee did not know how much change to give back. she entered 20 in the register instead of 20.05. whats the rush? it was empty inside! oh well when you're sick, this is the place to go for fruit smoothies! although it has gone up in price a lot. a lil ridic... read more

Pros: Super clean location, outdoor seating and the beautiful atmosphere of Foster City, the perfect equation to enjoy a refreshing ice-cold jamba juice on a warm summer day. Not too thick, not watery thin, and it tastes soooo good compared to other ones I've been to. I swear I've never slurped so fast. I was so sad when I reached the bottom of the cup that I had to convince my son and my husband to let me share... Both of theirs. Cons: They couldn't accept my $100, I guess they didnt have change so that was wack. So I had to walk my pregnant self back to the car and get my debit card. How inconvenient. And the drinks are sort of pricey, I can't accord to go here as much as I would like to. $4.40 for an original size? I remember when an original size cost 3-something. Why is it that these smoothie places always seem to hire underpaid high schoolers who hate their job? This location is usually pretty crowded. They'e luckily to be in such a prime location (next to noah's and starbucks), surrounded by office buildings so professionals in the area are drawn to this place out of convenience. The drinks are pretty good. I mean they stay true to the Jamba standards. It's not that hard to follow a recipe and make a smoothie. I'm sort of sad that Jamba closes so early. Sometimes after the gym I feel like a cold smoothie but they're not open, so I end up having a juice bar from Trader Joe's or frozen yogurt from Yummi Yogurt. This Jamba Juice location has way more seating, both indoors and outdoors, than other locations. It is large (for a Jamba Juice store) and is in a small "strip mall" of other food retailers like Noah's Bagels, Starbucks, etc. The parking lot is a tad cramped but I always find parking quickly. They greet you when you walks in the door and promptly take your order. Drinks are made to order with no problems. Yay! This is definitely one of the better Jamba Juice locations in the Bay Area. read more

What's not to like/love about Jamba Juice? It's the right location, next to Noah's, Starbuck's and Boston Market and across from Costco. I've probably come to this location about 5 times within the past week. I am currently obsessed with the new Jamba breakfasts they've got going on. I've established a usual smoothie already - the Berry Topper which includes a blend of blueberries, strawberries, bananas, yogurt and soy milk capped off with organic granola! It's awesome, and fills you up without leaving you with that stuffed feeling. My complaints about this location are: 1) that you can't get into this place if you're coming from the 92 or 101 freeways without having to make u-turns and 2) the parking situation! For an area that is lined up with 4 fairly decent places to grab a bite at, parking spaces are few and far between, not to mention very tight. Quite satisfied with my visit. I went during my lunch break and ordered four smoothies and 3 wheat-grass shots for me and my coworkers. Christopher and Jazzy were the only staff on at the time, but they were amazing. Strangely, whatever computer system they use was unable to provide me with an itemized receipt, but Jazzy happily offered to make one up for me. I turned down this offer, as I saw a pretty long line forming behind me. It seems odd to have only two staff on during busy lunch time. But my beverages were prepared perfectly, and my wheat-grass shots and accompanying orange slices were given to me in cups of ice to keep them cold as I took them back to my office. Despite the line growing and more orders coming in, Christopher and Jazzy kept a friendly demeanor and maintained an efficient workflow. Man I wish I took the name of the guy who got my drink the other day... he was pretty tall, young, maybe curly brown hair? I just remember thinking to myself "this guy is going to rise way beyond this position in life someday." The way he seemed to care about his work really came off. I love seeing that "take pride in your work" attitude in people, it's super contagious and makes the customer feel good about giving tips. Sometimes we give tips because it's polite, but this guy really deserved it. You see all kinds of people working at Jamba juice, but this guy was the cream of the crop. HORRIBLE SERVICE - OMG!!!!! So I know that high school and college age kids don't always pay attention to good customer service but the BAD attitude in this store in the evenings after I pick up my 5 year old from daycare makes me want to drive to San Mateo 15 minute away. I get there a little after 6pm and the two girls are so busy cleaning up i get no hello and then after a few minutes one says let her know when I am ready to order. I say now. She doesn't hear me. I raise my voice and said NOW. She comes over with attitude - as if I am lucky she is taking my order. She then gets my order wrong with one extra large peach pleasure vs. two 16 oz peach pleasures that I ordered. Last Week we try again - get there at 6:15pm and the door is locked. The two girls are in there cleaning up and too busy honor their sign that says open till 7pm. So we go to Starbucks to get some juice. We come back to our car and other customers are frustrated and pound on the door pointing at the open till 7pm sign. One of the girls let them in and gets then drinks. As you might guess my son then says can we go in and get drinks. I am so mad and after spending $8 on bad drinks at starbucks say no and drive home. Tonite kids wants a jamba juice so we drop by and a guy is working and is fairly nice and the one of the girls from last week is working ...she makes like 5 drinks at once with people waiting - throws them down on the table for pickup - speaks quickly that was hard to understand what the drinks are and heads to the back to clean up. I guess at what drinks are mine as she doesn't care cuz she is gone. So WTF.... What does it take for the manager to get their attitudes and simple customer service back to an acceptable level? read more

Today we are at 90 DEGREES, we waited half and hour outside just to make our order. No joke there was a line of 10 people outside waiting to make an order. When it's finally my turn to go in and order. I really like that this place is next to a Starbucks. Come to think of it, most places are next to a Starbucks. I was there on 4-18-10, around 3 when it was warm, so it was a busy time for 4 employees. But one of these employees seemed mad at the world. She was throwing stuff around while filling the blenders, was being rude and not talkative to anyone, or possessed by the devil. One on my orders was the Topper, which requires fresh bananas. So the nice server asked for help, and this (blonde) employee dismissed and said something rude to her, while she kept throwing stuff around. So I said to the nice server I would prefer my money back if there's no fresh bananas. So the the witch grabbed sliced bananas from the back, threw them on the counter and slammed they inside my Topper, hand handed it to me saying something like " here, your berry Topper".
