Came in for lunch this Friday afternoon on my lunch break and met up with my family. It's been awhile since I have been here and I forgot how greaaaaat it was. I normally have leftovers but I just ate and ate and ate. Everything was correct and the food was delicious. Kudos to our server, the guy who made sure our drinks were full, and the chef. Can't wait to come back again and maybe try something from their lunch menu. Edit: family just told me our wonderful servers name was Sandy. So thank you, Ms. Sandy. read more

This is such an amazing breakfast restaurant! It's a very homey, everyone knows your name kind of place which I love. Everyone is friendly and the menu is pretty extensive. They have so much to choose from! Their omelettes are huge and they really stuff them. A lot of their menu items come with their pot of bread too, which they have different flavors in all the time. That had strawberry Nutella when I went and it sounded (and was) amazing. I ordered the California Benedict with hash browns and it was a great amount of food and super tasty. It had turkey and avocado which drew me in. I'd definitely recommend coming here! It's a small place near Albertsons. It's usually busy so be prepared - but it's worth it! read more

We are in Las Vegas on vacation, and we were looking for a quality breakfast spot. We found Jamms. When I tell you the service was impeccable, it was A1. When you walk in, you have to give your name to the host/hostess. We were told 15-20 minutes, but it was less. We were seated and drinks were brought out within minutes. Darian was our server, and he was the bee's knees. We looked over the menu. My group ordered a meat lovers skillet, meat lovers skillet with egg whites instead of regular eggs, chicken and waffles, and two custom omelets. Darian brought out the cinnamon raising pot bread, and have mercy. We just about hurt ourselves. It took a very short amount of time for our very food to come out. Everything was divine! The portion sizes were huge, and we all ended up with leftovers. As a Louisiana woman, I'm always side eyeing places because I know how I like my food to be seasoned. The cooks did that because I didn't need to add anything. I cannot rave about the service enough. Customer service is easily one of the most important facets. As a bonus, when I checked on Yelp, I received a free pot bread, so if you're a Yelper, check in and get your free pot bread. I'm looking forward to returning, and I couldn't wait to give them a review and a shoutout! If you're in Vegas, go! read more

This review will contain three separate opinions by three separate people who ate three different things at Jamms restaurant in Las Vegas NV. Servers and hosts were quick, efficient and friendly. Patiently answered all the questions. 5 min wait to be seated at noon on Sunday. This waffle sandwich is delicious. Layers of Belgian waffle, bacon, fried chicken, iceberg lettuce, tomato and syrup to pour. California Benedict hit the spot. Egg yolk was runny, hollandaise was thick but not too heavy, potatoes O'Brien were just enough. Now it's my turn I ate the jamms omelette. It was loaded with beef cheese mushrooms and a delicious sauce. It was good. My belly is full. I am satisfied. I will be back. This is the end of my experience. Parking is easy. Lighting is fluorescent. Teapots are abundant. Smiles are omnipresent. Highly recommend! Be sure to schedule a nap afterwards. read more

Yes! Try this place. What a lot of fun and yummy choices. We had some of their famous pot bread and really enjoyed it. Flavors and freshness of baked goods were great. Smores pancakes are rich and more like dessert than breakfast but soooo yummy. If you love chocolate and marshmallows you'll love it. Each of us had something different and enjoyed it all. There's a decent wait of 20 minutes but they were definitely trying to get people in and out but we all want to visit and eat. I didn't feel rushed but noticed the great fast service! I haven't been to this restaurant in about 13 years, and probably won't be back. Hostess was very pleasant and the service was good, but the food was absolutely abysmal. I got the eggs Benedict with spinach and I added ham and home fried potatoes. Potatoes were like a potato casserole that had no flavor, I got a great big mound of spinach that had no seasonings whatsoever. Eggs were overcooked and it was the worst sauce I've ever had, definitely a can powder mix. Ambience was great. read more

Man oh man where do I begin. I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Their pots of bread are to DIE FOR. They have so many different flavors and I swear every time I go its a new one. Even the plain ones are amazing. You can get any of their omlettes as a burrito so I get their Reuben as a burrito and they hand make their ranch there. It is so tasty. They have the biggest mugs when you order coffee and the waitresses are all amazingly friendly. I always bring new people here and order take out whenever I can't get there. Jamms was a favorite weekend breakfast spot for us when we lived in North Las Vegas. Their "pot of bread" -- really a small loaf of bread baked in a coffee mug -- is an excellent accompaniment to all breakfasts ... fresh from the oven. Another highlight is the sweet potato fries. What happened to Jamm's? Used to be good but this is the second time I asked for scrambled eggs soft and get egg patties- way too firm for my liking. And the pot of bread is hard as a rock. Don't want to break a tooth so sadly I paid a fortune for food that is mostly inedible. The service was also a bit lacking. I give up on eating breakfast out as no one knows how to cook eggs properly. I will not return to this establishment. read more

Visiting from Chicago and our friend who lives in Vegas took my husband and I here and we were so pleased with the food and service! The pot of bread is such a unique touch to your meal! My husband got the cinnamon raisin one and I got the chocolate peanut butter (flavor of the day) - Yum! For food I went with the Babalama omelette (bacon, tomato, cheese, avocado) which ended up being so much for me to finish, along with the choice of O'Brien potatoes that was my side choice. My husband got the ham steak and eggs and couldn't finish his plate either because of the amount of food. Take of that what you will :) For a Thursday morning, it was definitely busy so you know that the restaurant is good! Would recommend for anyone wanting breakfast off the strip. read more

The family and I stopped by Jamm's for lunch on our way out of town after 2 days of soccer. We picked it for it's reviews and it was really great. It has a nice little classic diner feel to it and the friendly and attentive staff make you feel right at home. We ordered a mix of lunch (club sandwich for me and grilled cheese for one of the kids) and breakfast (classic bacon and eggs for my gf and stuffed French toast for one of the kids) and everyone loved everything. In addition, we ordered their specialty popped bread (free with Yelp Check-In) and everyone really enjoyed it. Next time we are in Vegas we will definitely swing by Jamm's again to try more items on their menu! read more

I'm ashamed to admit that I've lived here over a decade and had never been to Jamm's. I absolutely love a great diner and it's easy to say that this place is... heavenly. This will surely ruffle some feathers, but it surpasses Eggworks/The Egg and I by miles. Without a doubt. The booths are big and comfortable. Tables are spotless and have fun business ads to browse for the brief amount of time it takes for your perfectly cooked pot of bread to come out. Service is beyond nice and attentive. The coffee is bottomless. It's hard to decide what to order, especially for a first timer. I've been on a sauerkraut kick lately and ordered the Reuben skillet. It was massive and I was not disappointed in the least. The classic cinnamon raising pot of bread and it was like a little cloud of glutinous heaven. You HAVE to try one! There's also a chef's flavor of the week, too. Jamm's is truly THE classic Vegas diner! read more

We went for breakfast this AM. Pot bread=SO freaking good. Service=Excellent! My husband ordered an omelette which he felt was just okay(ingredients weren't all mixed together like he prefers). I had a bacon avocado skillet which was pretty good but had too many potatoes. I don't know if we would make it a huge point to drive across town to go, but would likely return if in the area. read more

During COVID now the restaurant is following all guidelines and even take your temperature before you walk in and tell you to sanitizer hands before you sit down. Ok, this place I've never heard of since I've lived here since 2006. I feel stupid for not knowing because my God. The food was awesome but what was just as awesome is the old school customer service. I haven't had quality customer service like this in years so I will definitely be going back . We were talking about different breakfast places with coworkers and someone mentioned "jamms is the best". And so we look them up and here we are. I had the babalama ritto. And my guy had the eggs Benedict. Only thing he wants to ask is if the restaurant offers shaved ham for the eggs Benedict in addition to cubed. When in doubt about where to eat in a new city, just ask a local! The woman who helped us out at Triple AAA, sent us here. She said locals travel from all over to eat at this restaurant. They have something special called "Pot of Bread." It is an individual size pot with fresh bread baked special everyday. I tried the Chocolate and Carmel bread. This comes with the salads. It was so tasty and good! I also had cabbage soup and a half Turkey sandwich. It was cold in the restaurant, the soup warmed me up and was delicious. The Turkey sandwich with sourdough bread was also good. It hit the spot for a light lunch. My husband had Chefs Salad with ham, turkey and cheese. He enjoyed it. While your eating music from the 60's is jamming in the background. It was fun to hear songs like Wendy, Downtown and Mana Cats. Service was excellent. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Vegas! read more

"You've been jammed!" I was in this part of town around breakfast time, so I gave Jamms a shot. I ordered the Jamminator, which apparently Adam Richman ordered here. It's a Reuben sort of sandwich with pastrami, sauerkraut, an omelette and a fried bun. It was sort of bland and lacking in distinct flavors. The shoestring fries weren't that skinny, they looked like MacDonald's fries and tasted like bland diner fries. The pancakes were okay, but there was a sort of aftertaste I couldn't quite place. I'm still giving this 3 stars because the service was great and our waitress was friendly with a very distinctive and infectious laugh. I wanted this place to be better than it was. One of my favorites to eat at. Located off Rainbow and Charleston, a few stores down from Albertsons. Jamms tend be a favorite with me and the wife. The place is a decent size but it can get busy. Since it's next to Albertsons, there's a lot of parking. The inside has is very well decorated and feels welcoming. The booth tend to be big and enough room to move. The tables itself had advertisements which I think was kind of cool. Not only they're their to serve food but help other businesses get out there. The food are big portions. The staff is very welcoming and friendly that they make people feel welcomed. This round, we went for a quick bite. When we got here in the morning, it wasn't so bad. Busy, but we were seated as we walked in. A few minutes later, our waitress came over and took our order. 5-10 mins later, we got our food. We spent a good 20-30 minutes till check out. Which I have no complaints. Overall, highly recommended if your in the area. read more

Other than the pot of bread this place doesn't deserve a star. The decor is from 1943 maybe even earlier and prices are way too high just because they were on TV they think that justifies them raising prices. Have seen it before at other places as well and it's the #1 mistake. Just because you think you're famous doesn't mean you can charge outrageous prices for eggs and pancakes. I ordered an omelette and always request country style aka they use real eggs and crack them over the pot. The waitress didn't know what country style was so I said politely its when they crack real eggs instead of a mix of beaters and she snarled back "we ONLY use real eggs" I said ok that's not what I'm debating I'm just asking for country style. Well don't worry the eggs that came out looked like they were microwaved and DEF not real. There is usually some white in the omelette since the eggs are beaten to order rather than an egg beater mix and it had like a plastic type shine and texture to it. The toppings of sausage and bacon in the meat lovers weren't even heated up they basically just microwave eggs and fold in half with toppings off a line and then sell it for $13 or whatever it was. 1ST OFF let me say that we are locals and we frequent this restaurant. I never write restaurant reviews because it's hard enough making a living. But Yesterday I went for breakfast at 11am with 4 guests for my Birthday and ordered my favorite White Castle omelet for breakfast. I was told that they were out of ground beef Then I ordered a cheese omelet with a hamburger patty on the side and I was told that they have no ground beef of any kind. It was 11am and they were out of hamburgers? They are next door to an Albertsons not across the street or even across the parking lot but next door. If I was by myself I would have left. I asked our waitress who was great by the way, why someone didn't go next door and buy ground beef or hamburgers and she didn't know. I wonder what they did for the lunch crowd that ordered hamburgers? Our waitress suggested a PHILLY STEAK OMELET it was ok but not what I originally wanted. Years ago when I was on tour I stopped into an Arby's for lunch and believe or not they were out of Roast Beef. LOL. I guess some things repeat themselves .I will eventually go back to JAMMS for breakfast or lunch but I will call to see if they have ground beef or maybe bring them some. read more

I was a little disappointed here. I am a breakfast junkie so I love finding new breakfast places. This place had some really great reviews so I thought Id give it a shot. The menu is huge!! Service was perfect.. very friendly and fast. But we settled on Chicken Fried Steak and eggs: I dont think they bread this themselves.. so it was kind of a run of the mill, pre-breaded cube steak, nothing spectacular. The gravy I didnt like.. it has tons of chicken base in it. Almost like cream of chicken soup with sausage. I ended up sampling both types of potatoes, and they were cooked well but not seasoned at all. I had the original pot of bread. I grew up eating homemade bread and this didnt taste like it. After asking the server, we were informed this is actually pre-made dough. Chicken Panini: Nothing special. It could have been so much better, but again, no seasoning at all on the chicken. The fries served with it are the same wedged seasoned fries served at KFC. Overall, I might come back to try something that doesnt include gravy or meat, like the french toast. That looked pretty good in some of the reviews I saw online. read more

Today I went there and I didn't feel welcome. I put my name on the waiting list, and the lady who was taking the names told me to wait 10 minutes for my table. After 20 minutes of waiting, she was calling everyone who joined the waiting list after I did. I went and told her why she was skipping my name if I was there before the other people who she was calling to get them seated. Instead of saying I'm sorry, she argued with me, saying the other people were there before me. A lady who was waiting for a table told me, "I got here after you, and she called my name, and I don't understand why she is skipping your name. I have been there many times and never had a negative experience like today. I left because I didn't feel welcome and went to eat breakfast to a different restaurant. read more

I came here for brunch with my mother and grandmother the other day and the food was subpar at best. I got the chef salad with honey mustard dressing and it had a weird bitter aftertaste. I honestly thought they gave me dijon mustard instead of honey mustard. It ended up being the actual salad itself. My mother got the cuban panini and the pulled pork on the sandwich not only tasted weird, it had a weird/bad smell to it as well. The only person who got a decent meal was my grandmother who got the basic bacon and eggs breakfast. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't come back here because it was so off. The server, however, was quite nice. I can't seem to recall her name but she was very friendly and we never went with an empty cup. Always a plus :) read more

Jamms is a hidden gem when it comes to LV breakfast diners. Starting with the staff - everyone is incredibly nice and pleasant to deal with. I've both called in orders and dined in (many times) and have yet to come a cross a poor attitude or rude remark. The food is fantastic all around, but where it's really at is the breakfast burritos. It's without a doubt a tough job to find a good breakfast burrito in LV. I'm talkin good ratios of egg/meat/cheese, crispy and well seasoned potatoes (but not overdone), and a quality tortilla. Oh yeah, Jamms nails it. Plus, you can make any of their omelets into a breakfast burrito. I recommend the Denver with crispy bacon instead of ham. God I want one now. read more

Best down-home-cookin' breakfast restaurant I've found in Vegas! Portions are very generous, quality is very good, menu selection is quite large, and their specialty "pot of bread" is deliciously tender on the inside with just a slight crispy outside! The only thing I was dissapointed with was the size of the "pot of bread" vs the size I thought it was based on a couple pictures I saw online before I went to Jamms. The bread pictures (and name) suggested the loaf was somewhat larger like a Costco size muffin, but it turned out to only be the size of a standard cupcake or dinner roll. I've been back 3 times since then and I make sure I order at least 3 pot-of-breads now instead of just 1! read more

Our waitress was nice but in kind of a big rush. I think they must have been very busy & a little short handed. Had the Patty Melt... Chose coleslaw as the side. Homemade slaw... The taste was just ok... except I do not do well with green peppers & no mention of that was made. It seemed to be a tiny bit spicy & still it had a faint taste of pineapple. Not my favorite Coleslaw. Burger was not quite the way it was ordered, but it was still very tasty. Onions were grilled in one slice which made biting into it a challenge. Jamms Restaurant - An Okay Experience We stumbled upon Jamms Restaurant on Valentine's Day and decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken and waffles as well as a regular Belgian waffle. Unfortunately, both were a bit underwhelming - pretty plain and lacking in flavor. The service was a little slow, but it seemed like our server had several tables to manage, so it was understandable. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, and the staff - including the busgirl, server, and host - were all very friendly and welcoming. I have been going to Jamms Restaurant for years! Yes, there is mostly always a wait, but the wait usually is not that long and it is worth it. The food is amazing! I would definitely recommend getting the pot bread with whatever you choose to eat! They are delicious! Service is usually great. Only sometimes I experienced service that was not so great, and only once when I went there to eat an hour or so before they closed, I experienced food that was not fresh. Therefore, I am not giving them a 5 star rating. But, overall, the restaurant is delicious! I highly recommend going here! read more

This place has won over both me and my grandpa - we can't get enough! The service is speedy, and the food quality is top-notch. It's got that classic, old-fashioned diner style that we love, and the restaurant is always clean with a friendly staff. Breakfast here is nothing short of excellent and abundant. The food is great but not friendly service. These ladies are on a mission....and you better know what the outcome want the second they ask or they yell I"'l'll be back!" Ten minutes later! They actually told us we needed to hurry eating.....people were waiting and they needed our table!" They close at 3 p.m and at 2:45 pm they tell you to pay the bill! Homey & unpretentious. Our waitress was perky and sunny and bright - and the Sandy omelet is actually named after her! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's warm on the inside, the portions are generous, the prices are low and everyone is very friendly. So I told my wife how I was brought here as a child and how delicious it was and had to bring her in to try! Don't be deterred if you see a bunch of people outside because you'll be seated quickly and promptly! This place is amazing. The food was fantastic, the prices fair, our server was friendly and was patient with our questions. We tried the white and cinnamon raisin pot breads. I prefered the white. to my surprise it was a yeast roll. I can't think of another place that gives you the option of hash browns or home fries. This is THE go to place in Las Vegas read more

What a great place to eat. I go about once a week and the place is always busy but the service is great. I always request to sit in Shays section. She is the sweetest girl and is super professional. Never leaves and empty plate or glass and has great recommendations of things new to eat. Will always go back for the food and smiles. read more

Looks like the type of place that may be busy for early morning hours, but no wait occurred either visit when visiting late morning and early afternoon. There are plentiful menu options for breakfast and the portions are generous and there are quite a few lunch options as well, though they close in early afternoon time. If you get the full size ham steak breakfast, you will likely have to take some to go. It is huge! The overall price you pay may not be as low as a couple of the mainstay breakfast chains or casino cafes players' card deals, but the flavor and potions of food and the wonderful staff make a difference. I will be a return customer here for my future trips to the western part of the Las Vegas area.

The service is always egg-ceptional and the food is consistently delicious. I've tried pretty much all of the menu items but the Pork Carnitas Huevos Rancheros is my all-time favorite. The pork carnitas and tomatillo sauce are very flavorful and the eggs are always cooked to perfection. One of my husband's go-to meals is the Country Fried Steak with scrambled eggs and a side of the seasoned potatoes. I highly recommend trying out one of their homemade banana nut muffins. They're freshly baked, so moist, and unbelievably scrumptious. This is a must-try breakfast staple that'll always be on the top of my Vegas recommendation list!

After we paid, we were told they were out of the only diet drink option, which should have been mentioned beforehand. Then our food service started off rough. We were first brought the wrong order, and when our actual food came out, the server nearly spilled the nachos all over the table. As for the food itself, it was very disappointing. The nachos were basic, with chips that tasted like they came straight from a bulk supplier and dry, flavorless meat. Nothing about them stood out. It honestly felt like something you would throw together at home in a pinch. The sandwich was not any better. The pork was dry and lacked seasoning, and the addition of wilted, overcooked spinach gave it an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, there was no flavor, no creativity, and nothing memorable about it. What stood out most was the lack of care. Nothing about the experience, from the atmosphere to the service to the food, felt like there was any pride behind it. While we were there, another couple came in and we overheard the same employee telling them that even more items were unavailable. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. With how expensive dining out is right now, it is frustrating to feel like you wasted your money. I really hope management takes feedback like this seriously because there is currently no reason for customers to come back.

That $2 just cost you more than $2, because you lost me as a customer. That whole interaction just left a bad taste in my mouth. The burrito might be called Effin Egg, but the customer service was the real "effin" part of the experience.

The hashbrowns were hands down some of the best I've had out, and the all of the proteins were cooked really well. I had their burger which was fantastic- we saw a lot of the $5.99 every day all day cheeseburgers going out and I definitely would make a stop just for that. My dad said his pancakes were great, too- a little crispy on the edges and nice nite. Service was amazing, and someone walks around asking if you want to join in on Keno!
