When I asked for a box, he took it to the back and dumped half of it out to fit it in a small to-go drink container wrapped in plastic wrap. Could barely understand anything we were asking and talked so quietly we could barely hear him. He needs some serious, extensive server training, being a server myself. We love Jamm's and he kind of ruined the whole experience, we just boxed the rest of our food up and left. It pains me to write this review because I have had this place bookmarked for YEARS. We were on this side of town and were starving. We saw on the door that they closed at 2:30 pm. We walked in at 1:55; still plenty of time to eat. We saw more than a handful of occupied tables with patrons still eating, so I thought we still had enough time. The young gentleman who walked us to our table was very friendly and courteous. However, as I sat down, I heard the older female server saying quite loudly "more people?! No more people!" My boyfriend, who is over 6 ft tall, saw into the kitchen and had seen the chef shrug his shoulders when he saw us being seated. After seeing this, we didn't feel welcomed anymore and walked right back out. My son asked why we were leaving instead of eating, and this gave me an opportunity to teach him a lesson on gratitude. They obviously didn't want us eating there. And if we had, we would have felt rushed. Im not going to support an establishment that obviously doesn't want our business. I'm sure the food is delicious and I was looking forward to finally trying the pot of bread. But with the crappy attitude of the staff, I'll never know. read more

We ate here for the first time today after we left one of our kids to find a breakfast spot for us to try. Can't believe we've lived here for four years and never eaten here, man were we missing out. This place stays busy and for good reasons, too. It seems they never have an empty open table. The staff are great, the food is great and the service is great. Portion sizes are, you guessed it, great! Meals are well priced. Costs nearly $60 for three of us. This restaurant is located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. They don't allow too many people to wait in the lobby, instead people are asked to social distance while waiting for a table. Every other side of the table is used and signs to remind guests to keep masks on until drink arrives and while walking through the restaurant. They have tables, booths and bar seating available to sit at. Staff wear masks and hand sanitizer is offered once you are seated. The Good: food is very tasty and the prices are great. The stuffed French toast was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The cream cheese filling has sour cream mixed in and provides a wonderful blend of tart with a subtle sweetness. The bacon is cooked perfectly with a nice outer crisp and a slightly chewy center The Bad: while they accept credit cards, they don't accept American Express or Discover. This isn't displayed anywhere except for a small display at the register with an incredibly unprofessional message on it that says they won't be paying the upcharge for you to use your credit card. It's 2023 and part of the cost of doing business is dealing with check lane tender fees from credit card companies. If you're not going to participate in modern digital transactions there are much better ways to convey that message. The Neutral: the maple syrup is fake syrup. While I expected this, it is always disappointing to see especially when the food itself was quite good. Fake syrup just takes away from the quality of the food. This place is amazing. I used to work in the plaza of this restaurant and would order breakfast for pickup almost every morning. It's more of a mom and pop shop which makes its 10x better than any other generic breakfast spot. The French toast, biscuits and gravy, patty melts, French fries, you name it, are all so delicious. I've tried so many things on this menu I can't even keep count. I introduced my coworkers to this place and they absolutely love it. Beyond the generally excellent diner staples, crusty pot bread, solid corned beef hash, and a very well trained and managed staff, two words, Taylor Ham. If you know, you know. If you don't know, it is worth the drive to find out because save for one grocery store chain in the St Louis area, this is the only place outside of Jersey I've ever seen it. I've been wanting to check this restaurant out for a while. My wife took me for Father's Day and my birthday. Nice atmosphere, decent size restaurant. We were served by Jasmine, she was lot of help. I like that they support local businesses in the community and put them on their tables. I ordered the Cinnamon Raisin Pot of Bread French Toast w/eggs and turkey sausage $13.49 and a small glass of Apple Juice. My wife ordered Stuffed French Toast $12.99 and the Breakfast Potatoes/Hash Browns $3.99 with a large glass of OJ. My only problem was the booths are small, we have a infant and I was trying to make it comfortable for my and the baby to sit, luckily I'm skinny so we made it work. A good no frills diner. enjoyed the hash browns and the hollandaise sauce on their Benedicts. They use quite a bit of margarine in their food instead of real butter, which was a little disappointing. My wife and I stopped her Sunday morning for breakfast. This was our first visit. While it was extremely busy, we were seated right away. Coffee and OJ found it's was to the table quickly. I was not hungry so I opted for the two egg breakfast with bacon, toast and hash browns. The wife went for one of their French toast dishes where the toast was covered with flakes. I ordered a two egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. I also got their house potatoes, which were delicious. The service was great and we were able to do a walk in and see it right away. Decided to try something new and had came here w/ my partner who i go to CES w/ every year, for our "annual" breakfast this year. Located on the Northwest corner of Charleston and Rainbow, it seems like a mom & pop breakfast place that's been there for as long as I have lived. Friend had ordered "Two Eggs Breakfast" w/ a side of "sausage links (3)" and "French Toast Sticks" to share. She also ordered a Hot Chocolate while i got a coffee. Service was friendly. There was a Yelp Check In offer that gives a free "Pot of Bread". The specialty during our visit was "Strawberry Fluff". Quickly came the coffee and hot chocolate. Coffee was just one of those big pot brews. As expected Our food came out pretty quickly too and it was A LOT OF FOOD ! Each order came with either fresh made plain pot of bread, cinnamon raisin pot of bread, white/wheat/rye/sourdough toast, english muffin, bagel, or biscuit AND potato o brien, hash browns, sweet, potato fries, fries, or homemade potato chips. Then we had that "free" strawberry fluff pot of bread too.... Needless to say, we didn't finish our food. My "Jamms Signature Omelette" was huge. STUFFED with onions, mushrooms, shredded cheese, and "sliced steak" similar to what you get in a philly cheesesteak covered with a fluffy omelette, topped with their bearnaise sauce. Their bearnaise sauce was fairly light which was nice but didn't help how "heavy" everything overall was. The "French Toast Sticks" were made with thick cut wheat? toast w/ syrup on the side, topped with cinnamon sugar. The toast was good and there wasn't too much sugar either The "Strawberry Fluff Pot of Bread" was really good too. Slightly "firmer" outside with a very soft inside. This place definitely isn't lighthanded in portion size. We were overly stuffed. Usually we don't eat so much prior to going to CES so we can snack later, but i was fairly full throughout the convention visit and limited how much I ate for late lunch/early dinner. First of all, this place is a hidden gem. If you're going to try this place, be prepared for a little wait as they were full when we went. Food was delicious. Everything we had that day was beyond perfect. The country omelette was full of proteins ! Other places I've been to does not pack as much as this! The loaf of bread they had was definitely a must try when there! They're known for it and it's soft on the inside and a little crunch on the outside just enough not too much to where you need to force and chew. Their French toast was out of this world! It was t the traditional French toast but instead, it was a pound cake French toast! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and crunch . Another Vegas local restaurant marked off my bucket list! Been wanting to come here for a minute but was never really in the area until a few weeks ago. I took a friend out for some errands and happened to be a few blocks away. The service is great, i love the diner vibe. I asked if the coffee was strong and the guy told me 'not really'. I ordered it anyways because I need my coffee in the mornings. The coffee isn't anything special. It's just regular diner coffee...a step or two up from water flavored coffee, so no complaint there...and it was Hot! Got the corned beef hash for my breakfast and it was different and tasty! I like their concept of the corned beef hash. The corned beef is sliced up corned beef, chopped, mixed in mashed potatoes, then fried. My order came with country potatoes. So yeah, it was a lot of potatoes so i brought most of my breakfast home for my kids. Had to get an order of their famous cup of bread. IMO, it was okay. I got the peaches and cream version and I think it was cooked too long because the top and bottom were hard and crunchy. Overall, this is a great little place. I'm glad I finally got to experience this Vegas gem. Will probably come by again when i'm in this part of town again. read more

There coffee is delicious and served super hot! The orange juice is also pulpy and delicious as well. It comes in a plastic juice carafe container so your able to pour more as you drink. There were a lot of juicy selections for breakfast, but I went with their famous Jamm's French toast. The French toast comes dipped in a batter that has crushed cereal (cornflakes I believe), which gives the French toast a crunchy texture, which I loved. I lathered it with some butter and maple syrup and it was golden! It was the perfect combination served with eggs and either bacon or sausage. This little spot is in a strip mall and honestly, it doesn't call your name when you walk by. There's a rotating flavor (I suggest getting whatever special they have at the time because it's always right on point) and it comes out fresh and warm. Having said that- eat it while it's warm. In my opinion this kind of pastry gets hard and less amazing when it cools down. The menu is large, pretty diverse and the prices are very reasonable.
