Croquetas de jamon jamon seriously lacking in jamon
    Sarah A.

We really enjoyed the service and atmosphere here but for a place called jamon jamon, the jamon was seriously lacking in the croquetas de jamon jamon. We also found the pan con tomate a little soggy. However, the salad and the calamari were excellent. They have a selection of house wines which were okay. I would definitely return here because the atmosphere is nice, the service was friendly and quick and we did like some dishes but we were really disappointed that the croquetas did not even appear to have any ham inside them. Recommend going elsewhere if you really want croquetas de jamon.

What a little gem! We stopped here for drinks before dinner and wish we had an extra night to stay and order more ! The restaurant was slammed and the service was great. We had some wine and it was delicious and paired it with some prosciutto that was so fresh!!! This place had a great vibe and if you're in town add this to your stop!

Excellent service in Miramar area with indoor and outdoors seating options. The appetizers were a great start with sone delicious croquettes and meatballs. The steak slices were cooked to perfection. Definitely will come again.

Amazing! The food was incredible and the service was outstanding! My whole family loved it...the empanadas were the best I've ever tasted, the calamari was cooked to perfection, the shrimp in lemon butter and the spare ribs were winners for dinner, and while we were so full we had to try their homemade bread pudding which was big enough to share. This place is a find!! Every bite of every dish is consistently impressive.

Tabla Mixta , excellent! Paired with a Balbas 18 2021 Ribera del Duero !

This was our third time here and never disappointed. The employees are attentive, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. And of course the food is always delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We always eat outdoor since the ambiance of being outside reminds us of European dining. Kudos to our waitress Josie who was excellent !!

Seems super popular, but was one of the worst meals I had in a long time, and definitely the worst I had in Puerto Rico. Which was quite the disappointment because the ambiance and decor is super cool. Probably a great place to get a drink, but the food was severely lacking. Alfredo with ribeye was quite awful... complete lack of flavor, and the ribeye was so overcooked it was practically inedible.

This place was a wonderful find! I was supposed to go find Casita Miramar and I found it was closed. (Although yelp said it was closed, my hotel said it would be open.) So I went back to my "wandering" approach and found this spot around the corner in the Miramar neighborhood, and it was absolutely amazing!. Unfortunately I'm only one person so I only ordered one main dish which was the garlic shrimp with pasta and it was to die for!!! The sauce was buttery but light and garlicky, and the shrimp were plump and fresh and just perfectly cooked. The linguine was equally perfect!! According to my waitress this was one of the lighter dishes and it was a specialty of the chef. In fact I was just dreaming about this dish again today, and well, I'm back home in New Orleans and this food is in San Juan, Puerto Rico! Hard to believe I was just there a few days ago! The wine list is great and they have spaced out indoor seating and ample outdoor seating. Service is lovely and reservations are recommended. The tapas menu looked great and so many desserts sounded amazing! I only got one dessert though and it was a rich chocolate decadent brownie!! Scrumptious! When I return to San Juan, I'm coming back for more food here!! Yummm!

This place was amazing!! The outdoor patio is such a wonderful addition to the ambiance. Their logo makes for the perfect selfie. The service was quick kind and welcoming. The appetizers were amazing I feel like I could've ordered 3 plates of the bread with tomatoes and garlic my GOODNESS it so delicious!!!!! So fresh and yummy On to the pasta. The garlic butter lemon sauce was so simple and embodied the fullness of flavor!! I love cheese so I couldn't help myself to add some Parmesan because voíla right? The shrimps were butterfly cooked to PERFECTION. 10/10 would recommend!! I'll be coming here again day before I leave. much love!

So glad I walked into this place! The ambiance was great! Dimmed lighting, candles on all tables, a beautiful floral wall all the way to end, bar nicely designed with shelves, lighting, and signage around. Service 10/10- The wait staff was so pleasant and nice. Walked me through the menu, I had dietary restrictions which they worked around without any issues. They gave great recommendations which I went off of and the cherry on top was the owner of the place met me at the end and told me his story of the restaurant and how he is working on making it a local-friendly spot which he is doing a great job at! Food- 10/10. For appetizers, I had their cheese meatball which was delicious. Super crispy, hot, and fresh! My main entree was the Pollo a la Valdostana (Chicken Breast with Ham and Mozzarella, Mushrooms and Marsala sauce, side of Penne Rose), I asked them to do it w/o the ham which they did. It was perfectly seasoned. The pasta wasn't dry at all generous portion of the sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly and wasn't dry, which many places end up doing! The desert which I took to go- sadly wish I took a picture of it was Budin De La Suegra. The owner said it was his mother-in-law's recipe. It's like layers of dough (croissant-like just thicker) filled with guava jam which is warmly served with vanilla ice cream! It melted in your mouth, that is how good it was. I went back there before flying out of PR just because I loved it so much! As for drink, I had the Guava mule (I believe lol), it was just a perfect evening after a long day of travel and work. Happy Eating

Such a fun spot! We got there kind of late but we still got to enjoy the food. Our waiter was so cool I wish we got his name to give him a shoutout. Our drinks of choice were: The Wounded Paloma (mine and it was very good), two guava mules (good also) and an IPA. From the tapas menu we tried the bolitas de risotto and they tasted so good and creamy! For our main dish we tried something from their special menu: Fish fillet with garlic noodles. The food practically melted in our mouths it was savory and so delicious and I'm not a big fish fan, so that says a lot. Lastly we wanted desert so we asked our waiter and he gave us advice on what to get. Two of us got the crème brûlée with caramelized bacon (yes caramelized bacon!) and the other two got a chocolate brownie with chocolate mouse.. overall it tasted great! We left very happy and it was a great start to our trip! Thank you again Jamón Jamón! See you next time!

What a gem in Miramar. My meal started with a very good Meatball appetizer, then I moved to the Pollo a la Valdostana (Chicken Breast with Ham and Mozzarella, Mushrooms and Marsala sauce, side of Penne Rose.) was AMAZING. I had the Rosemary smoked Old Fashioned, and it was perfect. Service was top notch, and ambiance was very nice.

Great service however not many Spanish recipes for a tapas place. BBQ ribs were good but they are from Memphis not Sevilla. Bread pudding was excellent and wine list is reasonable.

It's a cozy little restaurant that was perfect for our recent short stay in Old San Juan. I was impressed with the wine list, which featured sparkling, white, orange, rose, and red options by the glass and of course a more extensive list of bottles. I opted for two different sparkling options, a Pineau d'Aunis (rose) from the Loire Valley (strawberry notes) and a Verdeca (white) from Puglia (melon, white flowers). I drink a lot of wine and have never heard of these grapes at all, so they were fun to check out and delicious to boot. We also tried a number of different bites. They were all good, but these were the most memorable: Apio gnocchi - delightfully pillowy and nutty Dulce de papaya and prosciutto - lightly sweet and savory all at once. This might be an even better version of the more popular prosciutto and melon dish. Partamra olive oil cake - so lemony and moist Beet ice cream - this was wild! For sure my first time trying beet ice cream. It was barely sweet and had a very thick, almost custard-like texture. Special shout out to the staff, who were all so nice and chill and knowledgeable.

One room, the main area had salsa, dancing, and music and eventually at 9:30 PM a live salsa band came on. That was a whole lot of fun however it was very crowded. The second room had a nice house music going on. There was a bar and a DJ and it was not as busy as the main area was. And the third room was the bar that leads to the outside called La Cubanita, which was playing mellow lounge music with a tropical beat. The food at La Factoria was definitely overrated and just OK. I did not think it was worth the price and I probably would not eat there again. None of us really liked what we ordered, but we ate it because well... We were hungry. They do offer a wide range of beverages from your standard beer, wine, and top shelf brands, however, they are known for their own concoctions. All of the drinks we ordered were delicious. Overall, we had fun, and it was not too pricey for the beverages. I don't think that I would ever go again, especially not later in the week as it is so busy, and we went on a Monday and we were dancing cheek to cheek!!! Enjoy!
