Delicious cookies and scones. Tempting pies. Seating is mostly outside or to go. Relaxing atmosphere with lots of to go customers. Conveniently located next to Sierra Foothill Conservancy.

Eclair, key lime and pecan pie!

Jantz! While visiting Mariposa we stumbled across this cute little bakery, we grabbed a few things for our picnic and everything was incredible! Especially the Pecan pie, key lime and eclair :) The woman who helped us, Lucy, was very sweet and also made us a delicious sandwich. Yumm!

Found this place on yelp as we were staying at autocamp. It's located off the main road. Street parking right in front. We had no issues parking but I wonder if there's a parking lot in the back or something. It's located in a building with several other businesses. It's very small inside. There was one table of seating for two inside. The rest was out in the patio area. In addition to pastries, they have pies, sandwiches, salads and drinks. Ordered - kolachy (season and berry?) - Cinnabon (w butter cream & cream cheese on the side) - turnovers (strawberry & blueberry I think) - cake pops (chocolate) - cheesecake (blueberry) - chicken salad sandwich w/ potato salad. Came with pickles and a peppermint candy - meat sandwich alone Everything taste great. The Cinnabon was freshly made and soft. Glad I got 2 cos he ate them both. I wanted to try the kolachy cos I don't think I have before- it tasted like a fruit streudel to me with very dense dough. The turnovers were ok. Cheesecake was really good. I got the chicken salad sandwich as the worker said it's most popular and my husband got the meat as she said that was her fave. My husband and I agreed the chicken salad sandwich tasted better. Potato salad was good. great portions. Definitely recommend this place. FYI doesn't look like there's a bathroom inside but we didn't need to use one.

Last time I came through town, I got a box of different baked goods here and they were excellent. So much, that I had to come back. However, this time I tried a slice of their apricot pie and it was terrible. Something about the crust is completely wrong. I noticed what looked like to be a moldy spot on the crust and pointed it out to the cashier. She said that it Was not mold but it had something to do with how they packaged/transported the pie. I took her word and brought it back to our hotel. Needless to say, I had to throw the pie out. In thinking about it, what the cashier should've done was offered to replace it with something else :( The eclair that my son had however was still awesome.

After having brunch at Sugar Pine, my SO and I were craving something sweet! One of the workers had recommended Jantz Bakery for the Kolachy's-- so we decided to give it a try! PARKING: Fairly easy with lots of parking in the back. STORE: Yes! There's tons of pastries and pies to choose from.. but as delicious as they all sound, Jantz Bakery, DOES NOT ADHERE TO THE COVID-19 SAFETY MEASUREMENTS AND PROTOCOLS. - None of the staff members were wearing masks or gloves ( did not care if customers wore their masks or not ) - Did not care about limiting the amount of people inside The store itself was clean but it was alarming to see the store being careless of the safety of its employees and customers. With Mariposa's population, I'm sure their cases aren't as bad as other places... but we are still in a pandemic. WHAT WE ORDERED: - Strawberry Kolachy: our fave one out of the two! - Berry Kolachy: to us this one seemed really bland. Least favorite! ** Because these delicate treats can be finished in two bites, I'd recommend you buying more than 2! Be warned, these can be highly addicting! Overall, I would recommend you to come for the Strawberry Kolachy's. I would like to try their pies in the future... most definitely after this pandemic since they are NOT COVID FRIENDLY.

My observations alerted me to a communal yet cozy setting, with shared table and comfortable benches. This establishment feels magical to me. The floor is clean and the wooden tables and benches are inviting. I noticed that they have regular customers, as one after another, the customers were greeted by name with hugs and big smiles. Savanna (sic) greeted me and took my orders: small latte & ricotta + egg toast. My Ricotta + egg toast was delicious and the presentation was nicely done. The ingredients looked simple and the herbs tasted fresh and clean. The dish was perfectly seasoned. I tasted a little 'heat' at the back of my throat, but that's something I can handle. I even enjoyed the green sauce over the top. LOL! My order of latte was smooth and creamy. No sugar needed here. The creamy milk did its job. Savanna made my coffee after taking the order, and I complimented her on the delicious coffee. Would I go back? You betcha! And I'll bring my friends. Fun and neat idea for a coffee shop, considering the town receives lots of tourism for Yosemite. ORDER * Iced White Chocolate Latte -- I ordered the latte with oat milk. It was okay. It has a good espresso flavor. I appreciated that the drink wasn't made overly sweet. The white chocolate is subtle. There are a ton of flavors for lattes, but all are syrup-based. * Iced Oat Latte -- My SO ordered this, and it did its job. We came here because they have vegetarian options and looked like a fairly quick option. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while. We bought three sandwiches, two drinks, and a dessert from the cafe and the staff were rude and didn't let us eat at the tables in the cafe. Even though we had bought multiple items and just wanted to eat our sandwiches quickly before getting the staff member at the cafe was so rude we ended up taking our food outside and eating in our car in 103 degree heat. I got the roasted sandwich without cheese and with bacon. The sandwich itself was tasty and the chicken was moist. However, the cost was nearly $8 for half a sandwich, which was very small. Ambiance: the cafe area looked clean and was completely empty. It would have been fine and serviceable. Customer Service: 1 star. We arrived shortly before 3 p.m. and staff rushed us. I asked for three minute to read the menu and the cashier at the cafe said they were closing in two minutes. It was the most unwelcome I've felt at a restaurant in a very long time. There was no one else there, we had already bought multiple things from the cafe and spent over $50 all together and had to eat our sandwiches in the parking lot in 103 F heat. I've been to other establishments and unknowingly shown up near closing time, but usually that can be communicated politely. I regret spending any money here and supporting this business. Taste: 3 stars for the taste, texture and flavor of the chicken sandwich. 2 stars for the farmers market wrap. 3.5 stars for the carrot zucchini cake. Value: 2 stars. Half sandwich was overpriced and very small for the price.

I ordered a Chocolate Covered Strawberries Frappuccino, and sat down. I loved the fact that they had electric outlets near the indoor seating, but, when I discovered that I had forgotten my headphones, I decided to go outside. (It was too noisy for me inside.) Luckily, it was a nice day, and I was the only one outside. I stuck around until my laptop battery died. If there were somehow outdoor outlets, I might have stayed even longer. The next time I came through, I had been planning to do the same thing, but they looked super busy. Even the outside seating was crowded. I went through the drive through (where there was no line), and tried to order the same Frappuccino. It was no longer on the menu, but the batista said she could make it for me, anyway. It wasn't quite the same, but it was pretty close, and still pretty good. Both times, my drinks were highly Instagrammable.
