This is my second time eating at this restaurant and it tastes even better! I love the different options you have to choose from. It is so much food you can't help but get greedy and try your best to eat everything you see. This is a great buffet on the east side. The food is well cooked and they have options for a full range of eaters. I always test a Chinese restaurant by their sweet and sour chicken and they definitely passed the test. The servers were greatly attentive and our drinks were regularly refreshed. Yeah, I'm a little crazy going to a buffet during the pandemic but I just can't help myself some times. Jasmine did a very good job with their COVID practice including plenty of hand sanitizer, a mask requirement and plastic gloves on each of the steam tables to use when handling the tongs. As well, the tables were a bit spaced out. Several good options here for proteins and most of them not completely covered in sauces. I was able to put together a decent plate of spicy chicken and spicy pork and some baked surimi (krab) with cheese. Flavorful but it did need some hot mustard to bring out the proper taste. My kids LOVE this place and I've never been but I've been to others that I thought were pretty decent. I wanted to see what the hype was so I took them out to eat. We went at 4 pm so it was before the rush. The prices were about the same as others and I think they're all expensive lol but my babies eat a lot to say the least so I can say I get my money's worth for 5 kids. The staff was nice and helpful and very quick. I like the efficiency! Since we were before the rush, all the food was full and looked pretty fresh. I think my favorite was the green beans because they were cooked well. I got some coconut shrimp which I was a bit disappointed because the breading was soggy and coming off. The orange chicken or whatever it was (I can't remember) was actually really good. My daughter ate her whole plate which is rare. My other kids had crawfish which is the reason they go there in the first place and my middle baby loved the honey croissants. Only thing I'll say is other buffets had more variety so if pick those before this place but it was good enough to feed my babies dinner. I've turned over a new leaf this year and going to identify establishments that racial profile people. How dare you Jasmine Buffet target a BLACK disabled, elderly woman veteran. If one identifiers (BLACK) were removed, that person would not have been noticed at all. Since the person IS BLACK, you guys went the extra mile to target her and threatened to call the police on her. Due to miscommunication between a waitress and the BLACK customer. After the party of (5) finished their meal. The BLACK women asked the waitress if she could get small containers to take the food left on her plate. The waitress instructed her where the containers were and the BLACK women and guest prepared to leave. As the BLACK woman was exiting the door, she was stopped and told she needed to play an additional $24.99 for the small container. With disbelief in what was been asked the BLACK women tried to ignore her and when threatened with the police being called, the BLACK women handed the container back to this person who never identified herself. With a satisfied smirk on her face, the employee turned around and forcefully threw the container in a trash bin. Wow! I know my fellow viewer will find so many excuses that they will Soul-Heartly believe that the BLACK woman may have done wrong. But ask yourself, would a WHITE disabled elderly woman veteran be treated this way? We got to do better! This whole event was absolutely unnecessary. This BLACK woman is a tic toc commentator and has a weekly show. She put this on her page, alerting her viewer of her mis treatment at this restaurant. My family and I loved this place. Due to the COVID restrictions, this buffet has created a way for its patrons to still enjoy the experience of choosing one's own delicacies from the buffet. They require wearing a mask and a plastic glove while handling the utensils at the buffet. The food was delicious and appeared to be freshly cooked. We watched as they continued to refill or freshen dishes that had been out after a certain amount of time. There was a buffet attendee that kept the area orderly, directed traffics, and clean. Their bathrooms were very clean and did not have a lingering stench (air quality was good). It's a pretty typical buffet restaurant. Sunday price is $23 for adult including the beverage. It was after 3pm on Sunday and had plenty of people waiting. I waited about 25 minutes. The waitress never came to refill the drink. Food is ok. They use blue crab clusters in the seafood boil which is very rare. I have seen dungeness crabs and snow crabs in the seafood boil, but this is first time I saw blue crab in it. Ladies room could use some attention. There were plenty of employees by the register talking. Perhaps they can divert someone to clean the ladies room. Probably will not be back. read more

I've been here over a dozen times (not my choice haha). They have a lot of the typical choices you find at Chinese buffets (fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, fried shrimp, etc.). They also have a made to order noodle/meat bar, small sushi section, and soft serve ice cream. Some of my favorites are the shrimp, house chicken, and glazed croissants. Food is decent quality, and they do a good job with keeping the buffet stocked. Service is friendly and attentive. Restaurant is relatively clean. This is the best Chinese buffet you'll find in Columbia. The food is very fresh, especially the sushi and mussels. But if you get here at 11am, you'll get the best quality. There is a wide variety of items to choose from, including some American items like mashed potatoes (which I think they could do without). I would like to see different veggies besides broccoli and green beans. It does get a little annoying when customers coming in start having to line up to prepay and the line goes weird (like do we go out the door or across the door into the seating are??). In reading all of the reviews, this was a stop we had to make. The restaurant was pretty busy but far from full. They have a nice selection of about everything. Several of the buffet items I chose were luke warm at best. I had hoped that with the small crowd that was there, everything would be steaming hot. Not! The restaurant was clean and had a good vibe but for me, it was just your typical buffet and nothing special. The best part is their selection, as I think it's one of the biggest buffet's I've been in serving this type of food. They even serve stuff I've never seen before (or would probably not eat). This was one of the worst Chinese buffets I've ever been to. From the start, the employees seemed very unhappy and dismissive. Lowest quality food, then it was clear it had been thoroughly dried out from sitting so long. And excess oil overall. The hibatchi cook was so rude. He didn't say anything but "come back in five minutes." I tried to get his attention after that to request lots of garlic and chili and he seemed to actively avoid acknowledging me. My hibachi came back with a very standard amount of garlic and chili, so I had to add more, which does not taste the same as when it's cooked with the food. And then I discovered a pool of oil at the bottom, couldn't even eat it. They never refilled my drink or brought more napkins even though my water was empty and I'd used up the three napkins for a while. read more

The moment we entered the restaurant the workers were rude and seemed annoyed. Children 10 and over are considered adults so be aware of that. The food was okay but not great. The sushi was the only thing I really liked. The hibachi guy was beyond rude and needs Jesus.
