I've been a returning customer to Jasmine Thai, all the prior times I've visit I've had nothing but a pleasant experience except this one. As of June 24, 2021 restaurant is open for dine-in just with fewer tables set up. I ordered a Pad Kee Mao and all is fine, I'm excited to eat my meal. As soon as my plate is brought to the table, I take one bite and I find a long hair deeply embedded within the noodles... like oh no. I lost my appetite. Usually at other times, if a server gets my order wrong, I eat it to try something different than what I originally ordered but not to find a hair in my noodles. It's a huge turn off like I'm sorry. I let the server know and she kindly took my plate away. It was replaced of course but I got frustrated because i didn't have any utensils to start eating and my food was getting cold. I kept reminding her, then I had no napkins and no chili sauce. Then towards eating half way, she returned to ask me if I was done eating. I felt so pressured to finish quickly as I could see people were waiting to be seating bc lack of sufficient tables. But not my fault, as my food took to long to be delivered after the hair incident. Although food was good after the second time around, I just don't know if I want to return. I don't want to find more unfortunate surprises in my food and makes me question their hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen. Also I don't know if it's worth mentioning, they advice you if you pay cash, they give a 5% discount but I didn't see that reflected on my receipt. read more

Just no. I got the green curry w/ pork, and it wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't good. Super salty as well. Charged me $3 for a small order of rice that wasn't even enough for the curry, and that alone came out to $25. They didn't pick up their phone to place a take-out order, and I waited 30 minutes for the food although they weren't very busy. I feel swindled. read more

Food and service was great! Literally the best Thai restaurant! Loved their red curry I had last time so this time came back to try the shrimp pineapple curry, pad woon sen, seafood fried rice, spicy seafood soup, sausage appetizer and pad mao kee. All were delicious and very flavorful but not salty flavorful so we all loved it! Also tried their coconut ice cream hand made by the owner. Very good and different. What a gem! read more

I was disappointed they did not offer lunch specials, but still had them visible online. I know they are struggling with COVID so they cannot offer the discounts, so I felt better that I supported them. I tried calling but the phone was off the hook. The woman tried to reprimand me for not calling in the order (again because of COVID), abs I told her I tried but couldn't get through. She then checked the phone and realized she'd left it "on" so there was no way to call, maybe she felt bad for being a little harsh. The food was filled with peppers and was pretty hot, so I don't think it was a food option for me. I believe it was a garlic chicken dish (on lunch specials but not available right now). There was lots of juice and it was packed with flavor, but ideally I would have gotten something a little lighter for lunch. The parking is a lot in back and I saw others like me, eating in their cars since there's no indoor dining. I kind of wish they had some shade, or even an outdoor table back there because the awkwardness of a really juicy, messy meal in my car was not ideal. Tried this place because of the reviews. Didn't realize they charged the same price if not more for half the amount of food as other places plus they charge a fee to use credit card which they don't advise you of at time of payment. Should've gone to the place down the street and gotten double the amount of food. $117 +$5 fee for these 6 small containers of food. Should've gone to Thai Palms down the street which has double the size and actually has better food. read more

Whenever I'm out of town for work travel, I try places. The day I came, their AC is broken so they had a lot of fans so it wasn't so bad. (If there was a heat wave and I saw the sign I may not go in). I chose this thai place thinking they will have good peanut sauce for their fried tofu... but no. It was just sweet fish sauce. I love tom kha gai but with no spice (with chicken, that is what gai means in Thai - I'm not thai, it's just google). I got that with steamed rice and I liked it. I was torn between that or the crab fried rice because those are my faves. Looking at the menu I did not see crispy rice salad (nam khao tod)... I would've gotten that too. I love thai food but not spicy food. This place is worth trying if you are in Palmdale. read more

From the outside it looks slightly questionable, but the second you step in you know it's going to be fantastic food. The atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely. All of the food seemed to be very large portions, and between 4 of us, we could have split 3 entrees comfortably. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the service is quick. The ambiance of the restaurant is very calm. The food is made fresh to order and is delicious!! I recommend the golden triangles, the yellow curry with chicken (spice level 6), the shrimp and cucumber salad, or the pad see ew with beef. The Thai Iced coffee is also very authentic and yummy! I want to try other things on the menu. But these go-to's are just so delicious every time! They are a family run business who truly cares. Go support them! Me and my daughters favorite place to eat hands down. We come often and the owner is so sweet and the staff are always so nice. I have never had any issues regarding service or food. They are extremely welcoming and the servers are veryyyyy nice. ANDDD The food is just delicious! Hands down the most delicious Thai food I've ever had and I've ate at many Thai restaurants around Los Angeles. I recomend many many dishes on the menu. TomKah soup is my absolute fave. Recommend the pad see yew and chicken satay. But everything is tasty those are just my go-to items. Very good place! read more

This place is always delicious and fresh. The staff is really nice and they have upgraded the whole restaurant and it's looking very nice. They are playing the Olympics right now so it's a great place to watch. I've never written a bad review for a restaurant but I feel forced to do this. This has been one of my worst restaurant experience. The food way below average. But that was not the worst part. We ordered the lunch special that came with a drink. The owner charged us extra for all the drinks, and when we asked why they charged us $20 for the drinks she said "oh I didn't know the lunch menu came with drinks" even though it was written in the menu. Despite it being her fault she refused to remove it. While the food was extremely disappointing - frozen vegetables cooked in a generic store bought Thai sauce, the omelet was the worst with almost no chicken in the omelet. When we asked them to replace the omelette , they told us to still pay for the first one. What makes this such an awful experience is not only the food was terrible, but the incredible dishonesty from the restaurant owner trying to scam money out of us. I would never recommend this place to anyone- especially high prices for the worst food I've ever had. read more

I love Jasmine Thai so much that I had to stop myself from coming here all the time. I try not get tired of places but this place I will never get tired of!
