I love this place! I work downtown but if I go to lunch a little later I can miss the usual lunch crowd and be in and out pretty quickly. The menu here is big and everything I've had has been delicious. The first time I went in the cashier asked me if I wanted to get a salad for an additional $1. Salad sounded good so I said yes and just assumed it was a pre-made side salad. She hands me a container and directs me to their giant salad bar which was hard to choose from! Anyway, the workers here are always friendly and helpful if you aren't sure what you want. I wish I had one on my side of town but for now I'll try and visit for lunch when I can. read more

Jason's Deli is a great place due to it's variety. There is a good spread at the salad bar. I have seen these cute little muffins, lots of toppings, and a huge variety of crackers. Try the pumpkin cheddar! I like their wraps. The turkey wrap is delicious. They do deliver and cater, I believe. I have seen Jason's Deli delivery cars around Cincinnati. A lot of the meals come with a side of chips. I have gotten the side of blue corn tortilla chips and salsa. They definitely don't skimp on the chips. I like how you know everything is freshly made. The line can get long as busy times, but they give you a number that you take to your table. They then bring your food to you (unless you're setting salad bar of course). It's a typical deli environment with tables and booths. I will say it can get pretty busy sometimes so you might have to scope out tables. Please be kind and don't steal people's tables though! Last time I was here this family put down their jackets, drinks, and everything to go to the salad bar. While they were gone, someone sat down at their table and just started eating, when it was clear people were sitting there. One of the huge bonuses here is you get free fro yo after your meal! They have vanilla, chocolate, or swirl and chocolate syrup you can add. read more

Jason's serves deli fair similar to Panera or McAllister's. The menu features a large variety of sandwhiches, soups, baked potatoes, and a salad bar. The salad bar is definitely the best deal. Disappointing experience! I came to make myself a giant salad for dinner and grab a bowl of fruit to go with it. When I got there, I had a less than stellar experience with the cashier who seemed less than thrilled to be at work. I told her I'd never been there before and asked about the options and she stared at me and gave me one word answers and rolled her eyes at me when I didn't know which size salad I wanted (even though I mentioned this was my first time). Then, I made my way to the salad bar to find that they did not have any hard boiled eggs. I understand that there can be shortages, but this was one of the main toppings I wanted for my salad. Then I was even more let down when the only fruit they had was old, pale looking watermelon. It didn't even look like it was safe to consume it was so emaciated. So no fruit at all for me. I looked at the website online before I came and it looked like there would be lots of fruit on the bar, but the only other fruit was coated in sugary yogurt or dressing of some kind. When I got my salad home, the ranch dressing was gross and left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall really disappointing! read more

I rarely take the time to review fast food/casual dining. Mostly because I don't find it too impressive, but Jason's Deli is different and it's good! The people who work there actually seem to take pride in what they do and would love to know their secret!! They should share it with the rest of the world! Jason's is famous for their salad bar and it's great but I prefer selecting one of their amazing sandwiches. My favorite is the Papa Joe and it is far from your ordinary turkey sandwich. It comes on focaccia bread, roasted tomatoes, fresh basic pesto, and mayo. Delish!! Their menu is very appealing and has a lot to offer so you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. The best part however is the free ice cream and it's my favorite part of Jason's. It's a creamy whip and I sneak to the salad bar and add a spoonful of roasted almonds (my little secret and yummy delight). The only thing I don't like about Jason's is there is usually a ton of kids there because I guess they like ice cream too. I just wish they wouldn't scream and cry when I am trying to enjoy mine. read more

Pretty good, first time there. Plastic bags and a microwave is not my best way for a hot sandwich. Their salad bar looked very good but I did have it. Prices are a little higher than some deli's but again they are also microwaved. Not real sure if I will go back, but I guess everyone should get a second chance. read more

Stopped in Jason's Deli early on Friday of 4th of July weekend to see if we might get something for breakfast before we headed out on our drive to Chicago. STEPHANIE the manager was amazing. She and her staff were the epitome of great customer service, Jason's isn't open for breakfast but she said she would love to make us something right now from their catering menu. They whipped up yummy breakfasts sandwiches,fruit cups and coffee to go.Highly recommend Jason's .. They rock ! read more

After circling the lot for 20 minutes, I was hoping to have something exceptional. Considering my wife had heard great things about the salad bar, I agreed to look. I'm not impressed by ways restaurants dress up how they haven't anything for vegetarians except well wishes. I saw the most adorable tiny panini. Then, in horror, I realized it wasn't an appetizer. This English muffin-sized sandwich(cut in half and served on opposite sides of a pile of potato chips presumably to distract from its size, perhaps to aid in finding it...)was my $7+ "entree." For about the same money, Panera gives you better chips and three times the food. A fire would have been nice; the place was constantly drafty(stayed in my coat), but why encourage people to stick around? Roughly the same price as the salad bar is Golden Corral... The entire 50 minutes we were there, no more than 20 people were present, including at least 5 employees. Here's a lovely nugget, my wife got the salad bar and had to take her dirty plates to the Zuul(the Platekeeper) to receive the blessing of a clean one. Hallelujah! Saw a table stand hawking vegan options and had to lol. For vegetarians, boiled eggs, lettuce and cheese. Do vegans get to eat the napkins? I'll be back, she was happy. read more
