This is the only location I've ever been to and I love this place! I'm a big fan of fresh salads in general and they have an incredible salad bar with tons of offerings. I also really enjoy their roast beef dip sandwich and I always receive the BEST service here. Everyone is engaged, smiling and genuinely offers superb service. I have had take-out from here a few times. It's a chain deli and certainly feels like one. No major complaints about the food but nothing outstanding either. I have had a veggie sandwich, a veggie wrap, soup, chips with salsa, and a fruit side. Everything was fine and gave me what I wanted at the time which was a quick, healthy meal. Just not a lot of flavor to go along with it. I might stop in again since it is quick and easy but it certainly isn't a top choice or destination. read more

I'm a big fan of Jason's Deli since my first encounters with the chain in Virginia. However, I was very disappointed with my last visit. We arrived at 9:30, a half hour before they closed. I ordered the salad bar, a bowl of soup, and an iced tea--my usual order. I saw they were already in the process of cleaning the salad bar when I ordered, but the staff at the register told me it was no problem and I helped myself to the containers which were lined up on the sides of the buffet. At 9:50, ten minutes before they closed, the iced tea dispensers were removed and the soft serve machine was put out of commission for cleaning. When we asked why this was the case, the manager said that they always close the salad bar at 9:30. That's not what he told me when I ordered at 9:30, but, regardless, the soft serve machine and tea dispensers are not on the salad bar and shouldn't be cleaned while there are customers in the place, or at the very minimum, till they close at 10. I would have liked a refill, and my boyfriend wanted a cone. These kids just wanted to close up for the night early. I don't think I'll be back. read more

I can't really say anything good about my experience today at this place in Mason. My chili was cool, or as chili goes "cold", my wife had cold chicken pot pie soup, and my sandwich had very little meat on it. Very small amounts of meat on both of our sandwiches, in a deli that usually or should serve generous portions. Not here! No reason to go back to this one and it is in the first week of being open. 10 managers standing around like at most openings, and shooting the s..t with one another. You will find a good looking salad bar, but with ravaging hands everywhere, and it looked like Golden Corral, although I haven't been there in years. It will be packed because it's new to this part of town, but these qualities will have you backed off quickly. Applebee's didn't make it here for the same reason, "Bad food". Unfortunately the surrounding area is very populated with hotels and non-dissearning eaters will still come for a while. I was really hoping for more. read more

Yayy I love this place! My mom has been wanting to take me here for so long, and we finally got to make it! The food was very yummy, the service was quick and friendly, and so many people were there- which is a good sign as well. Their salad bar area is AWESOME for a deli! I've tried this chain before at other locations and always found it to be solidly average. Today's visit to their new Rookwood location was slightly below the usual mediocrity. It's obvious that the place is brand new, and they have numerous kinks to work out on the service side before they start running seamlessly. That's to be expected of a new restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was below average today as well. My muffuletta was unevenly heated. I watched them cut it out of a plastic bag and microwave it. Blah. Love this place! Love their food options, their salad bar options and not to mention their free soft serve ice cream! I like the fact you can get the manager special, and get a half sandwich of your choice, fruit, soup or a salad, with chips on the side and a delicious pickle. Love their turkey wraps with the fruit on the side. Their pickle is specially delicious. Too bad there isn't too many around or closer to where I live because I would go there all the time. 3-4 stars for the food but bumps up to 5 for the VALUE. The prices are very reasonable--but be sure to eat in for the complimentary soft serve ice cream and crackers, muffins, and garlic toast. Garlic toast is ridiculously good. Buttery, crunchy, melt in your mouth goodness. Had a very good Reuben there. A solid Reuben with a healthy amount of meat. Cup of soup and half sandwich is 7.89 (compare that to almost $10 at Panera!!!). Salad bar looked quite good too. Great customer service, very spacious too. read more

I love this location. I work in the same lot at Seasons 52 and I frequent quite a bit. Their salad bar is fantastic. Items are fresh and always stocked. The place is busy at lunch with all the businesses trying to squeeze in their lunch breaks. They do a great job at getting everyone through. The sandwiches are just ok. Nothing to write home about, but if you're looking for a quick healthy lunch, the salad bar is the answer. They're soups are pretty good as well. And the bonus...free soft serve ice cream with every guest! I will always use Jason's Deli as a regular spot to stop in. read more

Great for personal meals. However, their catering is TERRIBLE! Were using them very frequently at work for catering needs, and they seriously dropped the ball on several occasions, then, only apologized after emails and phone calls. Useless! I absolutely love this place. Huge, fresh salad bar and yummy soups to pair. I love how you can also purchase different sizes of salad bar to go- perfect for a quick, healthy lunch. So we catered in turkey sandwiches for an office meeting lunch. I thought the sandwich was just "ok". We got turkey with swiss and turkey with cheddar. The bread was a mix of wheat and white. I thought the bread was soggy and the meat was unevenly stacked on the bread. Maybe because we catered it, that was what lead to the lack of "freshness". I think the bread should have been slightly toasted to stay fresh while being delivered. The overall turkey taste was good, but next time it needs to be evenly layered on the sandwich. I would have also preferred more lettuce and some extra tomatoes on the sammie!! read more

Arrived one hour before closing, food was still so fresh and hot! I got the Zucchini Grillini The veggies are fresh, crisp and cooked just right! My son loves their pizza. The rest of the family got the Chicken Panini and the Eggstreme Pastrami. Everyone was super pleased. I absolutely love Jason's Deli. I'm obsessed with their tomato basil soup, it is in my top 2 for tomato soups!
