We love this coffee shop! We used to live closer and would visit for often specially for their beignets but we still try to visit every now and then. The atmosphere is very cozy and exactly what you would want in a coffee shop, I love how one room is more cozy with the couch and the other has tables for people working or visiting with others. Wow, I recently reviewed this business commenting on how verbally abusive the owner is to his employees and this is what his response was to me (a paying customer): I'd like to acknowledge a few pointers: Firstly, I was actually one of the first customers to visit this coffee shop when it opened in the back of Pinehurst several years ago. I've been here a few times, having ordered a crepe with strawberries as well as iced coffees on different occasions. Secondly, I don't even have a boyfriend nor have I ever visited a cafe with McDonald's (or outside food). I don't even like McDonald's, much less eat there. If you're going to disparage a customer, at least make sure as to not confuse them. Thirdly, the way the owner responded to an honest review exposes who he really is. I remember being the first Customer at Javaman, they didn't even have their credit card machine working yet. Now they have crowded Saturday mornings with people kicking back eating beignets.
