Went in for threading after not being able to go into a salon for awhile and decided to give this place a try since it was nearby even though the original person I had been going to there was gone. I believe the owner did my brows and while she did clean them up and did an alright job - her yelling into my ear on the phone while doing my brows was not very pleasant. Worse thing was her comment when I checked them and was about to pay saying "they needed some help" Is that how one running a shop should talk to their customer? Wow I haven't had an eyebrow job THIS bad ever! Super thin (thinnest I've ever had them), super uneven, bleeding and major scarring where she pulled my skin right between my eyebrows. It was painful and she kept using her fingers to wipe my skin, also unsanitary. Save your eyebrows and your skin ladies please, don't come here! I am begging you to just look elsewhere. They are harming customers here, rather than performing a service. I spent the whole pandemic growing my eyebrows nice and thick. It had been months since the last threading sesh at my usual place, so I thought she'd have a clean slate to work with. But this lady just went crazy with the threading and the plucking. I didn't know what to do or how to react, nobody had done such a terrible and painful job before. When I finally saw myself in the mirror I was absolutely in shock, now I'm almost in tears. The big scar between my eyebrows where she pulled my skin will take months to clear up IF EVER! The lady who worked on me was SUPER rough. This was my first time coming to Jazeh Beauty Boutique and it will not be the last! For the past year I've been getting my eyebrows threaded elsewhere, telling them to "just clean it up" or "please don't take too much off." Despite them saying, okay okay," they never listened and messed up the shape of my brows, making them extremely uneven. After reading raving reviews for Jazeh Beauty, I decided to try this place out in hopes to fix my brows. After telling Reema what happened and what I wanted, she listened, explained what she was going to do to achieve the brow shape I wanted, and she was very meticulous with her work. She didn't rush through, and by the end I was extremely happy with how my brows looked! Some spots still need to fill in from the other salons mistake, but overall they look fabulous! Purchased a groupon a couple weeks ago and came in last week. As I was telling them my plans of getting a brazillian later in the week they stopped me and told me it wasn't a good idea, that the spray tan would rip right off which makes sense! Appreciate the honesty there. I decided that I would just do everything there- in addition to the spray tan I got my eyebrows threaded, lip threaded and a Brazilian. The Brazillian is on special all of April so woo hoo! Had a 10 am appt and Aretha opened up. First off I have to say that I really like these ladies. They are easy to talk to and I had a nice time being there. Reema took care of threading my eyebrows and lip, and the spray tan. She gave me good advice on how to let my brows grow out for better shaping. She filled them to show me what shape we are going for. She recommended i put castor oil on my brows (and lashes if I want), for growth. They have it there and it was only $6 so awesome! I love the way my brows and lip came out. The spray tan she did herself also in a booth in a private room. It looks great and I couldn't be happier. I was a little worried I'd look orange and fake but I don't! Looks natural and I am all ready for my trip! Aretha took care of the Brazilians which she made as painless as possible. I didn't get burned and am happy how it came out. I was told NOT to shave anymore so that my Brazilians come out better and growth is more even. They use two different waxes which made the experience much better. The salon is super cute and I really overall just love the ladies there and look forward to going back. They are adding hair services so who knows... Since she left, I have gone back a couple of times and been disappointed In February 2018, I went to get my eyebrows threaded and the woman who did my brows took off a chunk. I emailed privately through the info@jazehbeautyboutique address to just let the owner know. At that time, I did not post in a public forum because I am not the kind of person who complains. I did not receive a response Yesterday, I was leaving on vacation and had to get last minute threading. I went to Jazeh today for the first time to get henna. Shazia provided with with impeccable customer service. She was supposed to leave work at 3 or 4 but accommodated me by allowing me a 5 pm appointment due to my work schedule (the appointment was booked a week in advance). She showed me lots of options for henna details and was willing to provide any combination I wanted. She was also up front about the price before services started, which I appreciated! While completing the henna, she held a nice conversation with me and was very easy to talk to, which made the process go by a lot quicker. When the henna was complete, she gave me thorough instructions on how to remove the dye once it dried. The salon itself is modern, clean, bright, smells LOVELY, and has beautiful decor. I paid $65 for henna on both arms, one side was tattooed from my fingers up to a few inches past the wrist and the other was tattooed from my fingers up to midway between my wrist and elbow. I am very happy with the design (it has a beautiful red brown color), as well as the salon atmosphere and the customer service I received. I will definitely be back! read more

Visiting my honey's family in Chicago from the west coast (Orange County, CA) and needed a touchup on my dwindling lashes. Thinking that squeezing in an appointment on a beautiful Saturday afternoon would be close to impossible, I was squeezed in for a lash fill within the hour! Clean, chic and cozy is how I would describe the salon... it seems like a perfect spot where you'd gather with a couple of girlfriends for some pampering. I was welcomed right away and sat in one of the chairs. Abeer evaluated my current lash situation and let me know she uses lashes and products a little different from what I may be used to. She explained how the products she uses are hypoallergenic and much healthier/safer than the typical med-grade glue used by other eyelash salons, but still asked if I was okay with it. Of course, I obliged. She didn't even have to tape my bottom lids. I was concerned my extensions wouldn't last as long, but she assured they would stay for about 2 weeks. Considering I don't use any chemicals on my face with my skincare products and cosmetics, why wouldn't I think to extend the same rule to my lash extensions?! *mind blown* In about 10-15 minutes, Abeer used her magical lash powers and filled and volumized my lashes... I walked in just before 1:00pm and she was closing me out at reception by 1:10! 10 MINUTES! And it takes just as long to love the place. When I come back to Chicago, I know exactly where I'll be going to get dolled up for my visit. Thank you, Abeer! Update: Well, what a bummer. After one day, 60% of my lashes fell out. Abeer worked her magic on Saturday, and by Sunday afternoon, I was back in the salon with Shazia for a touch-up. (Thank you so much, Shazia, for doing it free of charge, by the way.) On both days, when I left the salon, my lashes looked full and pretty. I will give props there, but sadly... it is now Wednesday evening, I have returned to CA, and 90% of the lashes that were filled have fallen out. Fortunately, they fell right on out, mostly sparing my natural lashes. Perhaps my natural lashes didn't take to the hypoallergenic glue, which in my opinion is reminiscent of temporary lash glue because it turned color/white on the underside of my lashes, much like temp lash glue does when it gets wet (and I started wearing strip lashes in the 90s!). I have had eyelash extensions for 7 years and take good care of them between fills, so losing this many lashes in just a few days is a first for me. Props for customer service though! Shazia's (and Abeer's) top priority was to make sure I was happy with the service. No doubt each gal in there cares for the clients. Anyhoo, I won't be heading back in for lash extensions on my next visit to Chicago, but I'd definitely pop back in for a threading sesh or a sexy spray tan. read more

Just when I thought I found the perfect place to do my eyebrows I was mistaken. I usually go on Fridays and the lady that does it that day is amazing, but last minute I decided to go on a Sunday before I went on vacation. After having my head thrown around and more of my eyelids and cheeks waxed rather than my actual eyebrows, I was left with a sore face and uneven eyebrows. To top it off she took the wax paper with wax on it and decided to go over my entire eyebrow and took a nice chunk out. I have never been more furious with a service here. The next day I woke up and it looked like I was punched in both eyes. My eyelids were sore for quite a few days after this. My eyebrows usually last me 3-4 weeks before I go back to get them done considering I'm away at school, but this time a week later it looks like I never got them done they're a mess! read more
