The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line. A good amount of hi top seating and tables. Hi top seating that are along the window were actually very uncomfortable. Padded seats were so narrow that seating was so uncomfortable but oh well. There's the other room seating area which houses all the wine on shelves. I believe it's also a wine store but that sectioned was closed for a private event. We just wanted a drink before dinner so no food was had. From the looks of the dishes that were coming out, they looked really nice. Tapas style dishes made for sharing. With happy hour, there was a couple dishes that was included. Also they offered a deal with a charcuterie board and a bottle included. We just went with a glass of their house red and white. And an order of spicy margaritas. It's a full bar so that was nice. Margaritas were great and house wine was decent. The service was great with the bartender who was a doll and very sweet. We have a couple of salads that are fantastic, and my son enjoys a few of their pasta dishes. I think the only thing that we haven't tried yet are the steaks although I did try the pork chop once it was phenomenal. Cocktails are reasonable. We've had a few that were better than others. This is one area of opportunity for consistency. Mostly though we like that we can go at any time and they always have multiple items that we enjoy whereas most of our other places we get the same thing 80% of the visit
