This might have been my favorite fish taco spot I had in my Maui vacation. We were recommended this local food trucks by one of our hosts at the hotel we were staying at. It was a quick 10 minute drive south and well worth it. Keep in mind there are two trucks here one red one white. Not sure if they are owned by the same person but the white truck seemed to be more popular. Bot the fish and shrimp were grilled and have a very nice Mexican taste to them. I saw this truck while driving through the park and HAD to try it!! I've been missing my authentic Mexican food since coming to Maui. I snuck away from the fam and ran up the street out of pure desperation for a solid taco. I was not disappointed! I ordered one al pastor taco and it was AMAZING. It was cooked fresh and the al pastor was full of flavor. The sauces they had were good, too. I wish I could have ordered more food from here. They also offer other things such as shaved ice. So they had a good variety of the popular Maui food and Mexican food! Customers were raving about the food left and right. This truck was the highlight of my whole trip!! If they charged me correctly, they charged me $8 a piece for bean and cheese burritos--which are half the size of their other Burritos and not filled with any meat or anything else but beans and cheese. They don't know how to wrap burritos, which is a sign of sloppiness, laziness, or just not authentic Mexican food. Speaking of calling yourself Mexican food, what's up with the flag of Puerto Rico on the guitar and the coqui playing it? Do you just think tourists are dumb or is it the islanders that you think won't know? Spend your money elsewhere. Take a drive and go to Leoda's or Sugar Beach Bake Shop for some spam musubi and malasadas. And also? That's no shave ice you are serving. You should take that off the menu or rename it. read more

I was beyond impressed. Coming from Arizona I was expecting eh Mexican food but this might even be better than what I can get in AZ. The owner was extremely friendly and I was so so happy with the food. We got AL pastor tacos, fish tacos, and a burrito and everything was so so so good. Today I met Juan, one of the owners. I learned that he used to work with Emril Lagasse in New Orleans and Las Vegas. First he made us ceviche tostadas....and the flavor was great, everything was fresh and the tortilla was light and crispy. Then I got some carne asada, done just right and the fish tacos made with really tender fish and fresh mango salsa, super yummy. Yes! Visiting Maui and found these guys on Yelp. They said their family lived in California for a while after coming from Mexico. Best Mexican food we've had in Hawaii. We fed six of us, everyone was happy. Lots of vegetarian options. We had the veggie tacos, veggie nachos (add beans), BRC burrito, BC burrito, el pastor torta and fish burrito.
