So I will preface this by saying that Bowling Pro Shops are like Pizza, everyone will have their favorite. I always heard of JB's and see their logo during various league and tournaments around town. I went in on a whim, and was immediately greeted by Paul. I told him that I was getting back into bowling and I purchased a ball from another location and it just didn't feel right. I was ready to purchase a new ball right then and there. Paul suggested that before I buy anything, to see if he can look at the other ball I got. I brought it in the next day and he saw that it was fitted incorrectly. Once he got me sorted, I became a regular visiting the shop at least once a week. I have since bought 4 bowling balls from here and will continue to be a customer. Everyone that I have met from JB to Paul to John, to the rest of the crew have been great. It doesn't matter if you are a pro or a beginning bowler, they will treat you with the same respect and patience, and will answer any and all questions you have. I won't go anywhere else, even if I have to go out of my way to visit JB's. Another bonus is if you get on their mailing list, you will get notifications of new used bowling ball inventory and tournament information. Their reconditioned bowling balls are as good as new. The plugging and resurfacing they do is excellent. I was also invited to a Test Drive Event for Motiv which was a good way to test new equipment without the investment. My husband and I go here anytime we need a new bowling ball or something as simple as getting new grips. We personally know Jon, Trish and Queenie. Everytime we go in there, we are always greeted by anyone that's out on the floor. When I got my first ball Jon had me test out the ball right after he drilled it and before he fully put the grips in them. This place is always nice and clean. Especially with the employees being super nice and very attentive. Always get good prices for the ball and the drilling together. Decided to finally stop into this gem of a bowling shop. We just walked in to check out the store and see what they had to offer. We were greeted right away and every employee was very helpful. You can tell they have a really good team work environment. We told them we were interested in a beginner ball. They mentioned they had a special with a ball, bag and shoes. John and Paul drilled my ball John laid it out and Paul drilled it. I am very fussy on how my balls are drilled, I like 1 inch deep finger holes not 2 inch, inserts below ball surface with a bevel. Also the placement of fingers is not normal depth only half way to first knuckle. These guys not only a did great job but were very nice great customer service. Signed up to join a boiling league and needed new gear. Trish came and helped as soon as I walked in. So excited they had a table of shoes on clearance in my size. $29.95!! They have a great selection of EVERYTHING! We decided to stop here because it was the farthest from where we live ... and I'm glad we made that decision. They offer cold bottles of water and even coffee if you're waiting. The kids and I hung out on the comfortable seats in the "bowlers lounge" while we waited for my ball to be drilled. Since we have free time together now, we decided we'd like to bowl more often and buy shoes. The staff was so welcoming and helpful in finding us the right pair. They weren't pushy, or trying to sell us on the most expensive gear. They had a good selection of clearance or closeout items, and tons of new and used balls in great condition for really fair prices that they will custom fit for you. They were super knowledgeable about the products and the sport in general. I thought it was also very sweet that they offered us water while we were browsing their products. This might be one of the nicest pro shops that I've visited. It was clean, well organized and had lots of products available. There is even a lounge for you if you choose to wait for your ball to be serviced. I was referred to Jon by excellent bowlers who have had balls drilled by Jon and his staff. I was having fit issues with a couple balls and was looking for more consistency. Jon greeted me and listened about my fit problems. In just a few minutes he was pretty sure of what I wanted and set up to drill both of my balls with a Tri-grip fit and ITs. He was able to get both done within a couple of hours. I was so happy that he could get it done the same day. So now I've thrown about 18 games in the past 4 days and my hand is so clean! I've never had a better fit. I live near LA, but I will now be purchasing all my future balls from JB bowling supply. You must visit this pro shop if you are anywhere near Henderson. read more

John Burroughs will get the newest release Balls of EVERY MANUFACTURER, drill it up and mail it to you for approximately $20.00 (depending on your location).
