Came in because my car check engine light came on and my gate in the back of my jeep was stuck shut and was trying to lock it self over night which lead to a battery drain and me to have to jump my car a couple times. So I reach out and Juan had me come in right away on their day off usually and disconnected something so that the battery wouldn't drain anymore! Ran the codes for the check engine and checked my battery! And just had me come in on Monday morning and they would take care of everything! Which I did went the whole weekend no issues and I so when I came in they got right to it ! They were very kind , accommodating, offered water and made sure I was comfortable with a fan on this hot day ! Absolute Worst Mechanic Shop I've Ever Dealt With I've been to this place about 6-8 times over the last 2.5 years, and the experience has been mostly terrible. I kept giving them chances, but they've consistently let me down. Let me break it down. Customer Service: Trash. They don't communicate, they move slow, and you constantly have to chase them down for updates. I'd tell Juan exactly what I needed done, and every time, that info wouldn't get passed on to the techs. I'd get my car back with only half the requested work done -- multiple times. The Headlight Nightmare: You'd think replacing headlights would be simple, right? Not here. They kept my car overnight for it. Three days later, one goes out. I bring it back -- fixed. Not even 12 hours later? Same one goes out again. I come back, again. Fixed, again. The next day? Same headlight dies again, and then the other one goes out too. At this point I'm playing ping-pong between home and this shop, wasting time and gas, even though the work was "covered by insurance." Then They Shatter My Damn Window: I bring the car in one morning for new headlights (again), oil change, and to check an oil leak. Twenty minutes later I go check and the entire rear window is shattered. Juan casually tells me "Tony backed it up into the lift, didn't see it." No real apology, just "we'll get it fixed today -- and I'll throw in new wipers" (never got those wipers, by the way -- just another lie). Lack of Accountability: I had to bug them constantly for updates. They act like children. Zero urgency, zero transparency. The next day I finally get the car back. Juan's gone, so I deal with Tony -- the guy who broke the window -- who tells me everything's done except the oil leak check. I'm like, "What oil leak?" He clearly had no idea what was going on. Classic. Almost Got Scammed: They tried to charge me $650 for headlight work I already had insurance on. I paid -- my mistake -- but checked my texts, found the receipt, and had to prove I shouldn't have been charged. I did get refunded, but still -- they tried it. Final Straw: I get in the car and there's still broken glass all over the back seat. No cleanup. No care. Just half-assed, unprofessional, bullshit work from start to finish. Bottom line: This place is a joke. The level of disorganization and laziness here is unreal. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone -- unless I hated them. Wish I could give negative stars. I called his shop and they were very polite and eager to take my business as I approach the counter. A young man was very professional and very polite. I was there for no longer than 35 minutes. The oil change was quick as they were managing many new customers that were walking in as well as I waited for my vehicle we made new plans to work on my 1978 Cadillac Deville and it was thoroughly explained on which parts were still on backorder, but he explained everything to me and it was crystal clear I am so excited to come back and drop off my 1978 Cadillac we are one step closer from getting this project finished thanks again for always accommodating your customers and taking great care of us. I rolled in with a busted lug nut on my Tesla. Not enough of the lug was accessible to weld a sacrificial nut without damaging the wheel. Juan and his team was able to remove the affected axle then grind off the lug head without any damage to the wheel. We had to source a replacement hub since Tesla doesn't sell replacement lug studs. Juan and his team kept me informed of progress. They were accommodating and were able to juggle their work to get me back to normal. I appreciate their honest work. Last week I brought my cutlass to get new bushings because my front end was making noises and we already knew that's what was needed. I was told I needed new sway bar arms and needed a new motor mount, and needed some hoses to be reattached because my idle was rough. I had a new motor mount and they agreed to put the one I had on. Ok that was fine. The total price for fixing everything and ordering the other parts with labor was$958.00. Totally doable on my end. They had my car 4 days. I got a text on the 3rd day saying the parts came in and my car would be done that day. 5 o'clock came around and no words from the shop. I figured no big deal. The next day which was Friday.. I texted them and asked about my car. The guy said cars done. Come before 5. My brother and I went to pick up my car. When we arrived.. I noticed my car was parked up hill backed in and the front end turned very closely to the next car. I thought how the hell and I gonna pull out of that. I proceed to walk into the shop and meet with the owner. I pay my bill and my car is brought out front. I'm super excited cuz I'm eager to see how she drives after I spent almost a thousand dollars to get her fixed. I walk out reading the paperwork of what was done to my car. I hop in and pull off. I only live 6 mins from the shop. I get home and go inside. 2 mins later I go back out to my car to leave and notice my passenger side.. bumper, fender and hood all smashed in. My fender rubbing against my tire. I immediately go back to the shop and start asking what happened. The guy comes out and says let me check my cameras to see what happened. I'm freaking out cuz my car was not damaged like that at all. The guy tells me I'm working on getting the footage from my shop but I have to wait for my i.t guy. I said ok cool no problem. Then he calls the tattoo shop and see if his camera caught anything. Meanwhile my mom and brother show up to the shop. Another worker tells me whoa what happened? I worked on your car and it wasn't like this yesterday.. exactly what I'm trying to figure out. Another worker walks out to play us their footage. He's playing with the phone and kept walking away only showing very small clips of the footage. He claims to show him pulling my car up. But you can't see whos driving. Doesn't show him get out. Then plays another small clip of my car backing up claiming I'm behind the wheel. None of the footage had any time stamps on it nor did it show me walking to get into my car. Couldn't see me behind the wheel. And said the damage didn't happen there so I did it and they weren't going to fix it. The shop has noticeable cameras around. So how come it didn't show me or the worker getting in or out of my vehicle? And all the whole the owner is in a rush to get his phone back and rush off. And because I left in the first place it's my word Against theirs at this point. They parked my car like that so I wouldn't notice anything. And I never thought to walk around my car before leaving because I want expecting anything to be damaged. So now I spent all that money for what? My car is now louder then it was when I first brought it in.. and to top it off.. the noise it was making that made me even being it in the first place.. was still there. And because I left I'm to blame. Never in my life will I ever go back there or recommend anyone for anything that has to do with this shop. They know they messed up and they got over on me. Just east of the 101 on Berryessa, you'll find Mr T Car Audio & JC Customs which, used to be V&S Auto Repair... This review is for the JC Customs that is housed at said address. LoL I've been in twice now for tire stuff and the guys that work there (Jose and Vu) are super cool, friendly and fair. The first time, they plugged a tire for me... simple and sweet. The second time, I had my tires rotated, again I was in and out in no time. I wish I could afford all their custom wheels, stereo speakers, alarms and grills!! The Basics: Jose runs the custom shop which covers tires, wheels, exhaust, tint, suspension, and other accessories, etc. Vu does the audio, car alarms, and other custom installations. The guys are ASC certified and after they explained what that meant (haha) they told me that the shop is run in the mornings by Cuco, who has been an ASC Certified technician for 20 years!! He must know a LOT about cars. Haha. I, know nothing, so I'm glad they're in my neighborhood. For Christmas, I wanna shopping spree at this place so that I can get some wheels and custom stereo stuff. ;) P.S. Don't miss it, it's kinda hidden down in a dip by a tattoo parlor. read more
