I had a very disappointing experience with the store manager. We simply asked if we could sit together with our friends, and she responded with a very poor attitude. Instead of offering a clear explanation, she gave a confusing response and even attempted to cancel our appointment. Throughout the interaction, she kept rolling her eyes, which felt extremely unprofessional. She also insisted that we speak only Chinese with her, which was unnecessary and uncomfortable. In the end, I was forced to sit separately from my friend. What made it even more frustrating was that later another customer was seated right next to me--something she could have easily arranged for us from the beginning. Overall, her behavior was rude and unhelpful. As a store manager, this is not acceptable. I can't help but wonder how many customers have been driven away because of this kind of attitude. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent pedicure experience. During the service, the nail technician repeatedly flooded my cuticles with polish, leaving the application messy and unprofessional. When I politely brought up my concerns, instead of addressing them respectfully, the technician became dismissive and rude. To make matters worse, while attempting to correct the polish, she cut my skin, causing it to bleed. The photos clearly show the excess polish around my cuticles as well as the injury. I remained calm and respectful throughout the entire interaction, yet my concerns were brushed aside. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism did not stop there. When I spoke with the front desk staff about the issue, they were equally dismissive and showed little concern for the quality of the service or the fact that I had been injured. As a paying customer, I expected accountability, proper customer service, and at the very least an apology. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the combination of poor workmanship, being cut during the service, and the rude response from both the technician and front desk staff left me feeling completely unheard. I went to this salon yesterday and I had Jessy. From the beginning she was very rude and aggressive. She was throwing my hands, pushing my fingers, grabbing my hands and telling me not to move even though I was not. She kept nicking my cuticle to the point that I was bleeding and then asking me not to move and saying "don't move it doesn't hurt!!". I've never been treated that way by a nail tech in my life. Then as I went to pay I was told I was not allowed to tip on my card and that it had to be cash only or Zelle and next time I have to bring cash. I wish I could give zero zero stars. I went into the salon and made an appointment so that when I am done working I could be seen. I told the lady I want to soak off my nail. When I sat down she began to file off the nail with a machine. This is normal as you need to take off the top coat of the uv gel first so I didn't say anything. Then I noticed she was taking off even more than I'm used to when I'm getting a soak off. I asked her you are soaking my nail right. Because I don't want to damage my natural nails. She called someone over. A man and I reiterated what I want done. This whole time she has an attitude but I don't pay her no mind. She wrapped my nail in foil for like 5 minutes then the started filing again. I got frustrated and said to myself as long as I don't feel like she is going too deep I'm just gonna let her finish so I can leave and never come back. However I have been in excruciating pain since the next day. I went into and showed the lady at the front counter and she told me to see a doctor. I decided to try JC Nail & Spa since it's right around the corner from my new house, and I was lucky enough to be scheduled with James. What a treat! From the moment I walked in, he took amazing care of me--his attention to detail is incredible, and he even helped me pick the perfect polish color. He calls himself the "nail fairy," and honestly, he is! I booked the lavender spa pedicure, and he worked his magic--my feet look and feel brand new. He was very mindful about sanitizing everything and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable the entire time, which I really appreciated. The only positives is that it's aesthetically nice and clean. The service is HORRIFIC. The first time I came, my regular manicure and pedicure were done in 30 minutes. She barely touched my cuticles and was not friendly. Today, I decided to give them a second chance and got a spa pedicure. It was better than the first time around, but she did not really scrub the calluses good or cut my cuticles. I walked in and right before I went to sit down, a lady told me "pick a color". It was my first time there and did not know where the powder gel nail colors were. I told her I wanted the powder gel. She hands me like 50 different colors and again says "Pick a color". She repeated herself three times. I guess I took too long (a whole minute...). I picked a color quickly because she seemed to be annoyed and walked over to her station. As she's doing my nails I tell her to please make them thin. She makes a stupid smile and says "Oh I don't know". I was like Are you serious??? By the time she finished, my nails were bulky and looked so bad. If I could zero stars I would. Came here once and had a bad experience but decided to give it a second chance. Took my daughter for manicures and right away I knew I should have walked out. They came over pushing colors on her because I guess taking 2 minutes was too long. Then proceeded to seat us on completely opposite ends of the salon even though I asked to be together (she's 5.) they eventually moved her closer to me. The girl doing my nails asked if I wanted them filed I said yes a very little bit, square. She rushed right into filing and within seconds I had my natural nail shape that I was happy with, filed into a rough, uneven, narrow shape. It will takes weeks to get back to what I had. I took my daughter and walked out at that point. I couldn't let her keep going since it already seemed we were a burden. Absolutely the worst Do not come here if you need a pedicure an hour before they close.. the women doing my feet was very fast and not very friendly. You can tell she was upset that she has to do my feet at 630 (they close at 7:30). I paid for a $60 plus pedicure and I have never felt so rushed in all my 47 years.. it took all to 30 minutes to do my special package which included a 15 minute massage .. my massage was extremely painful and rushed .. the alarm never went off as she faked setting it .. not worth the money .. no tip, since I pay for a service that was half ass! On top of it...The woman who came 5 minutes after me had a better pedicure and she had a regular pedicure. Hers lasted longer than mine.. And at 7:10 while I was drying she said I'm gonna put a topcoat on so waited. She started spraying them and I said you didn't put a top coat on. She said no no I did trust me .. she didn't.. ... At 7:22 all the employees packed in a van to go home I will never ever come here again. This is the worst service I've ever had and I left not getting exactly what I paid for. This is a very nice salon, much bigger inside than one would think. Prices are reasonable. People are friendly and this place is immaculate. This place is great if you need an immediate, mediocre, incredibly subpar manicure. The salon is modern & up to date but set up like a factory with seats on top of one another. I had never seen so many manicures happening at one time & I have been getting my nails done for 17 years. I was given to Marry who rushed through the whole manicure/pedicure, she had a terrible attitude like she was doing me a favor and did not want to be doing this. The work was nothing special, bare minimum, no hot towels only warm paper towels, no massage during pedicure just rubbing lotion for a few seconds, I think both services only took 30mins. All the nail techs here are highly capable of doing any design and are sweet. They also offer a rewards card. When you pay with cash it's double the points. I never write reviews but honestly this experience was too horrible to not. I had acrylic nails on prior and wanted to get them removed and put powder gel on my natural nails. She didn't ask me what shape i wanted and just started cutting my acrylic nails off aggressively which was very uncomfortable. She didn't soak the acrylic off and just put powder gel on top of it without prepping the nail at all. She was filing my nails aggressively and did nothing to my cuticles that left looking dryer than ever. She then used a wet cold paper towel to wipe my hands with after. The nails are not smooth and have ridges in them. Did nothing to get the residue off my fingers afterwards and told me it would come off after washing my hands at home (it did not). When you're paying $50 dollars to get your nails done you would think you could leave the salon with your hands looking presentable. I don't even know what her name was because there was no tag on her shirt. Should have said something but didn't. Safe to say I'm never coming back here and neither should you. read more

Came by for the first time today. The place was really busy, especially for a Wednesday, but I had an appointment and I was taken right away. I got a spa pedicure ($30) and gel manicure ($28). Very content with both. I was in and out within an hour and 15 min! I appreciated that they had the same person that worked on my pedi to do my mani. They have a rewards program. The only recommendation would be to include combination packages when mani and pedis are purchased. She asked what color it was and I said I would like a different color because they peeled off. I asked for a different color and said I would have to pay for a different color, but after I requested a refund, they were able to give me a new color and gel manicure. I try to avoid this salon as they are rude and pushy and have had negative visits here in the past but someone gave me a gift card here for Christmas. Went in for a pedicure and I'm sitting relaxing when the woman doing my pedicure asked me if I was pregnant out of no where I felt humiliated and asked her why she would ask that because it's extremely rude to do so. She had nothing to say and started laughing to her co worker and staring at me. She did a terrible job on the pedicure and callus scrub which was only included in the pricer spa pedicures unlike at other salons I've been too. I also asked for a 10 minute massage and the woman asked me repeatedly if I would like 15 min instead. Each time she asked I said no thank you and when the massage was over she proceeded to ask another few times if I wanted another 5 minutes which I responded again no. My total after the gift card was about $5 more than the amount of the card and only had my credit card on me for the difference. The woman asked me if I can take cash out of their atm I said no because I don't want to be charged a fee she proceeded to give an attitude and make it a problem to which I said you can charge my card or eat the $5 and I walk out. She reluctantly charged my card and after that I left less relaxed and more agitated than when I walked in. First time here, and the girls had taken our temperature immediately after arriving - the space is beautiful and very clean!! The pedicure chairs have plexiglass between them as well as the manicure tables. I'm very big on cleanliness and felt very safe here. Had an honestly fascinating experience with the young nail tech named Alissa yesterday. I believe that's how it was spelled on her name tag but unsure. I made an appointment to try this salon for the first time. She took off my old polish then handed me a bin to pick out my color. I was browsing the choices for maybe 2-3 minutes when I noticed she looked frustrated I was taking so long. Mind you, the salon was virtually empty. Not like I was holding anyone up. Politely, I said I was looking for a pink color and showed her a photo thinking maybe she'd wanna speed up the process by helping me find it. She looked at me literally dumbfounded as to why I was asking her for help and said "I don't know?"... to which I said "ok I'll keep looking!" Again perfectly politely. I found the color shortly after. Then she asked me if I wanted cut or file. I said to file down a little and to "try her best to get more of an almond shape rather than round." She very audibly scoffed and said my nails were way too short to do that and then just started laughing and shaking her head. Through laughs she said something to her colleague next to her in her language. My eyes honestly filled up with tears. I felt weirdly humiliated and just confused on why I was being treated this way. Plus, my nails had grown above my finger tip so I was confused on why she made it seem like an impossible, ridiculous request. I replied with a smile saying I understood and to just try her best to file so they were thinner on the sides and came to more of a point. This felt like a pretty common request??...And honestly if I asked for octagon shaped nails her reaction still wouldn't be warranted. The best part is she was able to file them in an almond shape ?? Like girl why are you gaslighting me rn??? When she finished my nails she led me to the front desk to pay. Another employee rang me up while she waited next to me. I imagine she was waiting to be tipped which is fine. I've never received this kind of customer service at a salon, but I'd never not tip a service worker. Not tipping wouldn't fix what I was feeling. I handed her a $5 bill, (nails were $38) smiled and said "thank you I love them!" I admit I should have given around $7, but I honestly didn't have another dollar. She literally ripped the money out of my hand and turned around. She didn't say a word in response. No smile, no thank you, no thanks have a good day. I was shook lmao. Overall -asking a nail tech for help finding a color is typical -a polite exchange discussing realistic expectations about what a client is looking to get done to their nails is expected -a small correspondence (whether it's nonverbal or verbal) when a customer tips a service worker is common curtesy I'm disappointed because I did like my nails and it's a convenient location. I was hoping for it to become my new go to. Bare minimum I expect basic politeness when paying for a service. I was made to feel way too uncomfortable to ever go back. read more

When I first starting coming here it was great!!! I told all my friends and family about this place... NOW... I was waiting to get my pedicure for over 20 minutes... the guy Jack finally comes over.. he was pretending to push my cuticles back on my toes.. he didn't even shape them right ! He did a horrible job! He then put cream on my wet legs!! Didn't even dry them before!! Very lazy and doesn't no what hes doing!! My nails chipped the next day. Then my sister inlaw went in there with an appointment for the powder gel.. they kept the gloves on her for a half hour!! She told me her fingers were burning! After the girl at the front desk told someone to work on her that worker let out a big sigh! My sister in law was so annoyed she told her to just take the gloves off and clean them up and left ! I've been coming to this new location for a couple of months now and have always been very happy with the service. Until yesterday.    I asked to see the book with ombre colors (which I did 2 weeks prior). The girl said they dont have that. I showed her my nails and told her they do. I waited and looked at regular colors and asked another about the ombre book to which she too said they dont have. Finally, I get my nail tech (I will withhold her name) and asked her too about the ombre book. She basically said they're not all powder, some gel, and I said "can I still see the book?" She walks away and I turned to the customer next to me and I said "I don't understand why they are trying to get me to not get this specific service when it's actually more money."   She shows me the samples which were not in a book (that was my mistake) and asked me very rudely "OK so what do you want". I just gave them back to her and I said forget it I'll just stick with this which was a regular single colored powder.  She started working on my nails and was going so fast that she burned my nail using that dremmel. They are very busy no matter what time you go there but I did have an appointment and I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I had to have a rush job done so that they can make sure they get through all of their customers.  Once she started filing my nails she again was going super fast. She ran the file against my nail so hard that she actually cut me and it really hurt...(she did say said she was sorry).    Needless to say, I'm also quite certain the color is not the one I asked for but she did do a good job. I came in here about a week ago to get my nails done for my bridal shower. The place was very busy but I was seen after about a 10 minute wait. I was originally going to do a gel manicure but switched to powder which I was happy about. My nail tech person was very nice and even brought over multiple powders to see which was my favorite when the powder color I originally picked was too bright for me. The color I ended up was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. My entire time there including waiting was about an hour which really wasn't bad at all.
