Do NOT do business here. Juan is VERY unprofessional and he hikes up price quotes once he learns that you have money... He is very unprofessional and outright unethical. Save your time and money, and find another shop! I requested a quote from Juan based on 1300 square feet of work. He quoted me $2,600. When he measured my home, the area needing work was only 1,000 square feet (so 200 square feet less than what I originally stated). However, despite this reduction, Juan decided to increase my quote by FIFTY PERCENT (50%) simply because he learned that I drive a Range Rover and own a very nice house.... He also LIED about furniture moving. He originally stated that moving furniture was included in the service, but then on the back end, tried to charge me for it. This business will jump through hoops to steal money from you. They are dishonest and undeserving of your business. When I requested to speak to the owner, Juan got a nasty attitude and told me "no". And when I stated that I would leave a negative review, he said that he did not care, that it would do nothing, and then he hung up the phone on me! DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU. I repeat, DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU!!! Look for other reputable and honest businesses! MY RESPONSE TO JUAN's RESPONSE: Juan claims that "financial issues were a constraint". He wants you to believe that this is why the transaction did not proceed. Do not believe his lies. I do not have financial issues, and that is not the issue at all. The issue is that Juan provided me a quote for $2600, lied about their services, and then tried to increase the cost by 50% AFTER he realized that I am wealthy. The issue is that Juan is TRYING to scam people who he later learns are rich... This is an unethical and fraudulent business and they do not deserve your business. DO NOT be fooled by their strawman arguments... There are countless competitors out there. Choose one of the honest ones. Also, don't forget: Juan hung up the phone on me and refused to connect me with the owner. Not only are they trying to scam people, but they also have terrible customer service! I had scratched my hardwood floors pretty bad moving furniture. The mark was long and right in the middle of the family room which wasn't a good feeling. Tried some scratch removing solutions myself from a hardware store but it made the damaged floors look even worse. Reached out to JE Floors to look at the floors. The owner Carlos responded promptly and came over the very next day to provide a free estimate. He was very honest in providing his assessment and gave us options along with a fee estimate for each option. We ended up refinishing the floors in the family room/kitchen. These guys are very hardworking and good. They are true professionals. They covered up the surrounding area with plastic to prevent dust. It was a three day project to sand, stain, apply a sealer, and buff. Every morning they showed up promptly at 8:30 am like they said they would. They showed us stain samples and provided recommendations to match the floors in other parts of the home. The floors turned out great and the damage to the floor is completely fixed. They are reasonably priced as well. Great experience overall. If we ever need flooring service we are only reaching out to them. read more
